Great location. Good accommodation. Friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful weekend on the Gippsland lakes.

Was beautiful scenery, lovely place to stay.

Had 2 wonderful nights, staying in Avon Lodge. It was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the warmth of the woodfire. Lovely surrounds, beautiful views of surrounding bushland and Lake. Great facilities. Grandkids loved feeding kangaroos & Birds and enjoyed riding bikes, tennis, swimming in pool, relaxing in spa. Friendly and obliging staff.

I stayed up at Waterfront Retreat for 3 nights in June recently. The retreat is exactly that — a space that is very peaceful and set right amongst nature! The houses are really comfortable with very good heating! the facilities are excellent, so if you're into outdoor activities you will have plenty to pick from! The resident kangaroos are beautiful and so quiet that you can have them feeding right out of your hands! It's a lovely spot to slow down and get back to nature and I look forward to heading back there soon! Thank you!

Tranquil setting, with interaction with kangaroos and beautiful birds. Management were very accommodating and friendly. Spa and pool were a great feature. Apollo and Bungaree lodges were spacious and private.

Really enjoyed the serenity, great atmosphere and accomodation and wildlife, kangaroos come right up to the verandah … spa and indoor pool. Was a wonderful weekend.

Just returned from an amazing 3 night stay. Rooms are spacious, bright and homely and exceptionally clean.
We were greeted by the kangaroos and birds on our balcony which our 2 year old loved.
So many free activities from canoeing, paddle boarding, bike riding, bush walks, swimming pool, spa and more.
Highly recommend this place for couples, families or friends wanting a weekend away. We will definitely be back.

A lovely weekend away, great place for some R&R, we got to meet kangoos at our door step, which was a highlight. Nice to get away from the stress of daily life.

We have just returned from a three day break at Wattle point. We had such an amazing time. The facilities were fantastic and the staff so friendly and extremely helpful. My two boys thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife from the Kangaroos to the kookaburra. We are already planning to return when family visit from the Uk later this month. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for a wonderful break.

One of the most serene — relaxing places to be!

A group of us (kids & adults) recently stayed here & had a great few days.
The lodges are basic but have everything you need & the use of amenities inc pool, hot tub, dvds & board games is a great perk & my friends visiting from the UK were blown away by all the Ozzy wildlife roaming around.
After leaving I realised I'd left clothes at the retreat & the staff were most helpful & posted them back to me the next day.
This is our 2nd visit & we'll definitely stay here again down the line.

Beautiful location, right on the river. Kangaroos at your back door. Beautiful lodges and the caretakers (Deb and the Tassie couple) were wonderful. We stayed 4 nights and explored the area. Will definitely return.

Wattle Point waterfront retreat. On Lake Victoria. This is the best weekend away you could want highly recommend it unique and relaxing. The staff are the best Thank you Tracy you made us very welcome.

This place is absolutely awesome, we have had two stays here now and both times have been brilliant. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit as the staff are fantastic the accommodation the same, plenty to do or just relax amongst the bushland with the roos. Can't wait for our next visit.

What an amazing relaxing resort this is. So very quiet. Resort's are well spread out so you think you are the only ones here.
Pushbikes ans helmets along with canoes are here free of charge.
There is an amazing indoor swimming pool and a hot tub thats heated at 36 degrees.
Apartments are well equiped with everything you need. Including an outdoor bbq. And food to feed the kangaroos and birds.
So very impressed with this place and the owners. We will be back for sure.

Lovely little getaway. Deb the owner is a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful. Lodges are spacious and have everything you need. We are staying in the one called Beluga, nicely designed with a parents retreat at one end, kitchen/living room in the middle and then another bedroom and bathroom. Lovely spa in parents bathroom and resort has a large mineral spa which we tried out today and loved. Definitely worth a stay, we would come back again…

This place is amazing. Never seen anything like it. Service, experience, amenities are all great. Very relaxed amidst the all the wildlife at your doorstep. Definitely coming back.

We stayed in Steamer lodge, very clean & well maintained 2 bedroom lodge. Great views of lake & wildlife right to the door, had to discourage small kangaroo from hopping onto the deck! Everything is as described in the info video. We travelled from west of Melbourne, 4 hour trip & thought it was well worth it. Debbie was extremely helpful & understanding after we made our booking, paid then needed to delay our stay by 5 months! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to all ages. Kathryn & Eric Bunn.

Its just a beautiful place to unwind and relax. Had a baby kangaroo come up for a feed this morning, gorgeous little thing. Ill most definitely be coming back and more then happy to recommend to friends and family to stay here also not to mention the great price we paid for the 2 nights. :-)

My wife and I have been going there for almost 8 years at least once or twice a year for special occasion. The rooms are great The wildlife and the views are very relaxing to see.

Been here with my partner many times and will continue to visit! Beautiful grounds with plenty of native life. Service was great and everything needed was provided! No real cons. No air-conditioning has prevented us from visiting during the warmer months. Massive a** mosquitoes and if you're sensitive like me, watch it! I took what seems like an endless amount of photos…

Very modern and comfortable accommodation, the kangaroos came to visit at dinner time, that was fun. Very peaceful bushy location on the edge of the lakes and just a short drive to Bairnsdale.

What a wonderful place for a quiet week-end or a few days, wonderful and very helpful staff and lodges beautifully appointed. What more could you want for a romantic holiday.

Great place to relax with a swim in the indoor pool, mineral spring spa, sit on jetty to watch sunrises & sunsets over the water or just watch the wildlife fly, hop or swim past. Then retire to watch the flames dance in the log fire as you sip your favourite drink. If you want to be more active then there's a tennis court, push bikes & canoes (all free). Accomodation is very clean & modern. Owners are very helpful. What are you waiting for? James Mead.

Stayed in Omeo lodge and can't wait to go again. So close to the water, and bush as well. Heaps of wildlife. Brad.
