It was a great enjoyable family meal. It was lovely and warm by the fire.

Great ambience, service & Meal.

A hour wait for a meal then comes out half raw. The service is, well… common as muck and NO professionalism about their job. I DONT recommend this place for a good meal.

The hotel has done a great job of renovations and good service.

Got there at 6:30 didnt get the main meal untill 9:30 and the porterhouse steak was way over cooked and the chips were undercooked. My dads meal came out at 10:00 and it was seafood platter. Others orderd way before us and I never seen them get there meal.
I will never go there again.

Good Pub Food with Kids Meals. Didn't realize how popular it was on the Weekend re Booking in School Holidays. Fortunately we were able to sit at the Bar. Loved the Bar Stools very cool.

Meal and staff were wonderful! Live entertainment great too.

Went to the Heyfield Railway Hotel for dinner with some mates. The service was friendly and welcoming as were the other patrons in the bar. I had a chicken parma and a garlic cheese cob and these were both delicious.

Great hospitality, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our young kids had bedding for the night, large room, and delicious food in generous portions from the bar menu. Generally positive experience.

Great pub and prices. Food was fast and very tasty. The service was also very friendly. The only reason for the 4 stars as its advertised as child friendly but the kids area isn't much of a kid area. Could definitley use an upgrade. My kids chose to sit at the table bored then to play in the kids area.

Service was friendly and meals were generous. Dining room needs some ambient music to give atmosphere. Overall we were happy wth our visit.

Bistro opens at 6 o'clock, arrived just after that, nice and quiet. Meals arrived quickly, nothing special but well presented and plenty of it. Will come again.

Recently refurbished, nice surrounds, typical country pub with generous, tasty meals at normal pub prices. Worth a visit.

The railway is amazing! Tina went over and above to rush a meal for my 3yo. It was totally unexpected & totally appreciated! We sat in the bar on a hot day just after the power had been out and the staff didn’t miss a beat! The meals were incredible and so were the staff. Thanks railway! We’ll definitely be back!

We in a family room for 4 people. Clean, spacious and tidy rooms. Booked on line had no trouble checking in, girls very helpful and friendly. The plus was the breakfast goodie box for the morning. Will definitely come again.
