Discovery Parks - Echuca

Short stay (3 nights) in unpowered section, which was super nice. Nature aspect, which we love. Lots of birdsong. Stunning view of the Murray. Outdoor heated pool & amenities block was well appointed & maintained ato standard.

Fantastic Park! Been coming here for 4 years and I think it gets better every year. We stayed over Easter and there was lots for the kids to do, jumping pillow, water park, BMX track, train ride around the park for the little ones. The egg throw in at the tennis courts was brilliant and the train the night before left the kids extremely happy. The park is really big so lots of space for kids to ride bikes. Amenities are clean. Location is great 5 min out of town and park runs a long the river, great for a long walk and cycling. Staff were lovely. Pizza food truck on site was very good. Can't wait for next year!

Looooved this place. Quiet and located right on the Murray River. We stayed in a small couple, I think it was called a Standard cabin which was perfect in size for my husband and I and perfect price for our wallet. After staying in a few budget motel rooms and then coming to this little cabin, we basically decided to stay in discovery Park cabins for the remainder of our trip wherever possible. Much, much better standard and more user friendly for want of a better term. The air conditioner was quiet enough to sleep with if necessary. The full kitchen was perfect for meals and cleaning up and the bathroom was modern, clean and a decent size for a small cabin. Could have stayed forever. You can walk along the Murray's River banks and watch the boats, paddle streamers if your lucky. Take in the wildlife if you like that and just relax in the peace and quiet. If you get the chance to stay, do it. Perfect place to unwind. Took photos after we unpacked so you'll see some of our gear in the unit.

Well maintained park. Lots of activities for kids. Clean amenities. Close proximity to river and boat ramps. Nice clean pool. Not enough shaded camp sites. Overall very good but only rated 4 star. This is based on comparison with discovery parks Lake Hume. 10 mins to town centre. Also worth a trip to town to see sand sculptures if still there. Nearby Rochester 30 mins away to view art murals.

What a fantastic park! We just spent the Aus Day weekend. We opted for a unpowered site with our van (due to friends in roof top& tents) and I am so glad we did as the space on the unpowered site was amazing! And we had River access.
Pools at every corner and of course the kids LOVED the splash park!

We booked on line just after Christmas. The rates for this time of the year was very reasonable. When booking on line we weren't sure where we would have been placed, but to our surprise our site was perfectly placed to have shade all day. We decided to stay an extra night.
The office staff were very helpful and extremely polite. We come up to Echuca few times year and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Sunday — Saturday in drive through site. They are pretty narrow, neighbours awning nearly touching our van, wouldn't book one again just a standard site would fit our 24ft van easy enough. Sunday to Thursday park was pretty quiet and nice then got bust as to be expected Thursday into the weekend.
Park was great they had so many activities for the kids and staff fantastic.
Easy access to river for a swim as well.

We had a river side caravan site, was absolutely beautiful, this park is so well thought out! The variety of food trucks was amazing. The laundry facilities well thought out with even a money change machine in the laundry with card access aswell. Great sized sites. Easy access to the river. Just amazing. I haven’t even mentioned the variety of different pools around the park or the awesome water play park …. We will be back one day … wish we had of booked a longer stay.

Stayed in a cabin very close to the main area of the park, my partners been staying in the same cabin for over 10 years. The park is lovely, great family park, clean and great location on the Murray.
However, for the price of the cabin the services provided are poor. We were booked for. A week and each year we get TWO dishwashing tablets, a couple of rubbish bags, minimal tea and coffee and only one set of clean towels for the whole stay. For the price we pay over $3K for a week you would expect enough to last the week.
Other than those few issues a great family park.

We tented here on a powered site. Well portioned areas to set up. The facilities were like new and were clean and well maintained. Right on the Murray River and easy access to Echuca. The park facilities were excellent for young kids including the water park, 3 pools, bouncing pillow and playgrounds. Would happily stay there again.

The ensuite site was spotless! There was also shampoo and body wash and body lotion! Very impressed to see this in a caravan park! There is no shower caddy, so BYO if you do not want to leave items on the shower floor.
Camp kitchen huge, clean, and nice to be able to either sit inside or outside on a nice night.
The splash park for the kids is AMAZING! Great for kids of all ages! So much fun! And 3 pools! 3! We were lucky enough to get perfect weather so tested out all 3!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait until we return!

Unfortunately had to cancel our trip due to unforeseen circumstances. However when speaking to reception, I was met with the coldest, most rude receptionist, totally blunt and uninterested. We were going to rebook in the new year as we do family trips to big 4 and discovery parks often with our children, we won’t be coming here though.

We stayed with our caravan on a powered drive through site earlier this week for two nights.
The park and all facilities are clean tidy and well kept. The Murray is close by. A trip into Echuca is a 5 minute drive.
Excellent park.

Reception staff member was extremely rude and a very unhelpful.
These days not to be a pet friendly park is totally unacceptable, but when someone enquires you could be a bit friendlier with your response.
Would not recommend just for the attitude.

The park advertises that they provide free Wi-Fi but it apparently only works intermittently and we had no access for the duration of our stay. This affected our phones, computers and made the smart TV virtually useless.
We booked for 4 but bedding was only set up for 2. Otherwise the cabin was quite good and located next to the water park and covered pool which was great.

Fabulous quiet park a bit out of town!
I'm so pleased we found this park. It was actually the price that caught our attention to begin with as it was much, much cheaper than all the others.
Once we arrived we were amazed at the great facilities available.
Just to name only some of the things available were the indoor pool, out door pool, splash park,, jumping pillow, bike park, walking track along the river, undercover bbq areas and plenty of clean toilets and showers dotted all through the park.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful in person and on the phone.
We will definitely be staying here each time we visit Echuca from now on.

The park is very nice. Our cabin was very clean, & the bed was great. Park amenities were above average as well. Just don't turn up at 4:55pm. The reception staff were a bit grumpy. 🙂
