Travelled down to Echuca for the Southern 80 and we had a blast staying here! The owners are fantastic and so friendly, the rooms are super clean and is only a 5 minute walk to shops and bars!
We booked 3 rooms next to each other and the owners were more then happy for us to cook a bbq and put our outdoor tables together!
Defiantly will be coming back to stay here! :)

I have never in my life encountered such rude owners of an Hotel. On arrival was pretty much called stupid because I said "we had a booking" I was told I should have said "we have a booking" and that I, like most people didn't know how to speak properly! Then I had apparently parked my car on the wrong angle, the owner saw me park it there as he was walking beside my car as I parked it. The next morning I was berated by him and he called me selfish as I had to ask another guest (who was standing beside her car) to please let me out. When I told the wife on departure that I was not happy with the way I had been spoken too she became very aggressive, yelling at me and also inferred I was an idiot! I then called her a few choice words, and she called them straight back at me! The cleaner ran after me and apologized for the way in which I had been spoken.

Clean and comfortable, I selected the motel based on its proximity to local attractions when walking. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. I would return here if in the area again.

Excellent clean cosy room, easy walking distance to shops and the port. Friendly welcoming helpful hosts Lee & Tory, will return.

Found this to be a great place, with very helpful and friendly staff and owner. The Room rates were very competitive for the location, and the rooms comfortable, clean, and fairly modern.

Outstanding value for money. The room was recently refurbished, clean, well lit, lots of power outlets in convenient positions, excellent Wi-Fi, rapid hot water for the shower, very well designed room set-up. Torey and Leanne were very welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending the venue for others and booking it ourselves in any return trip to Echuca.

Clean, well equiped and very well placed in the town to get to the Echuca Wharfe, paddle steamers, shops, cafes and clubs. Would definitely use it again.

This motel has had a lot of work done on it in the last year or two and it shows. Great bed, clean and within walking distance of nearly everything we needed.

Stayed here for a wedding, staff were helpful and very friendly.

Pete and I headed to Echuca last weekend for a night on the Murray River.
We spent one night at a truly beautiful Motel, The High Street Motel, Echuca". Thankyou so much to Tory and Lea, the new proprietors, for a most welcoming and enjoyable stay.

Comfortable motel. Undercover parking on the main street but no main street noise gets to the rooms. Reasonable rates considering the location. Pkenty of good dining options in a short walk.

A nice little place to stay in the heart of town; very affordable, and close to shops, cafes, services, train station, and much besides. We felt most welcome thanks to the owners Torey and Lea. They work very hard to make the place run smoothly; rooms are simple but fully equipped, clean and well presented.
