St Claire Country House

My wife and I got held our wedding over the weekend at St Claire Country House. Anne-Marie and Neville are amazing hosts. They waited up until all of our guests had left, ensuring that they all got to the cars safely. The venue is beyond perfect — the salon is ana amazing space and very versatile. The rooms in both the guests house and the Yellow room recieved rave reviews — my parents wanted to take the bed home with them! I honestly can't fault St Claire — whether you're looking for a weekend away, or are hosting a special event, put this place on your shortlist!

Ian and I had a lovely stay at St Claire Country House recently. We enjoyed the countryside, the open fire in the guest house lounge and the beautiful interiors throughout. We read and relaxed, went for walks, saw the waterfall and enjoyed eating in the pubs and cafes. I love gardening so we visited the garden of St Erth too. I highly recommend St Claire to others.

Really beautiful accommodation in a French Colonial style Guest House; gorgeous French Salon and lush North Lawn for events.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mid week break at St Claire, freezing outside and toasty warm inside. Every aspect is first class, from the quality of the linen to the friendly and helpful attitude of the hosts. There has been great attention to detail in establishing this business and we wish them every success.

We visited for the opening and were blown away and transported to France. Ambiance, garden, music, champagne. The perfect place for any celebration. Loved the attention to detail. The marquees were beautiful.

St Claire Country House! What a beautuful experience to live in the 21st Century and be swept back into the 19th Century only with the modern privliages of comfort and warmth.
Every room took my breath away and required minutes to consume and see every detail, from the Designers Guild highly decorated and colourful wallpaper to flowers on mass both inside and out!
No detail has been spared and all needs have been taken care of.
Ann-Marie and Neville must be so proud that their hopes and dreams have come to fruition and now stands grand and majestic for all to see and experience at East Trentham.

Being at St Claire Country House is a superb experience. One cannot help but be inspired by the beautiful ambience of the whole place which is immaculate as well as the extensive gardens which abut rolling countryside. The owners are to be thoroughly congratulated for creating this unique setting in which a vast range of events could take place. C’est magnifique!

Spent several hours at the opening of St Claire Country House last Sunday and was amazed to find a place of this substance tucked away in lovely East Trentham. The owners have obviously poured a huge amount of love and attention into creating a very beautiful and relaxing accommodation and event place and were very welcoming. Elegant French styling in abundance. Am already thinking it will be perfect for a friends' joint 60th.

My husband and I attended the Grand Opening of St Claire Country House on Sunday 22nd April. We loved seeing the French Colonial house and romantic garden; and all of the beautiful interiors with flowers everywhere. It was beautiful weather and lovely to experience the ambience outside with the gorgeous tents and lovely furniture scattered everywhere. We participated in the French up your Life workshop which was fun. The coffee and pastry from Monsieur Pierre was really good. My husband enjoyed seeing all of the striking French vintage cars that provided a good backdrop to the tents. The St Claire owners were very busy managing the event but when we asked them some questions about the house they were charming and gracious in how they responded to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and will definitely be back when the owners put more events on. I am going to strongly recommend the accommodation to friends from Melbourne. Very well done and congratulations St Claire Country House!

Honestly, the attitude of the owner needs to improve by 4000% before I would recommend this place.

My partner and I had the most amazing weekend staying at St Claire Country House. Anne-Marie and Neville take amazing care of their property and surrounding gardens and they are more beautiful in reality. They went above and beyond when they dropped us off AND pick us up from a wedding we went to on the Saturday night.
I would highly recommend staying at St Claire Country House for a cute quiet couple weekend in Trentham and easy access to surrounding country towns.
