Who says you can’t buy happiness! If a relaxing weekend is what you need then look no further! And what better way to start your day than kangaroos on your door step! This puts a big smile on your face and that’s just the beginning of the indulgent weekend.

My second stay there was absolutely AMAZING! I wish I could go back & stay there forever. Everything was clean, serene and beautiful. I'm happy with the improvements they've made since my previous trip. Here's what I said previously and gave it a 2 star: Nice looking place, beautiful artwork and great location. But questionable hygiene and safety standards. Screws on the bed, dirty blankets, water heating-cooling issues. Not a good experience if you want a glitch free, peaceful getaway as you'll be questioning yourself constantly as to what is clean and what is not. : (

What an absolute disappointment. My husband and I were looking so forward to staying at this place for 2 nights, after seeing the pictures they used in advertising. We booked the dreaming room, it was more like the nightmare room. The room was absolutely filthy, bed side tables covered in dirt and dust, stains in kitchen cutlery draw, spider webs all around windows, light fitting covered in dust and spider webs, can opener dirty and stained, stool covered in stains, barbecue covered in dust and spider webs, they had a docking station for iPhone, I have never seen anything so dirty and grimey. We called the cleaners telling them we were not happy, they were going to send someone out to clean, but after we thought about it, we thought that it was not right that after such a long drive there that we should be waiting for cleaners to come and clean the place. The amount of cleaning that was required would have taken a fair amount of time, we were not going to spend the short amount of time that we had to spend there waiting for them to do this. We called the owner and sent photos to him showing him how dirty the place was, and informed him that we would not be staying, he was apologetic. We gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking that he obviously did not know that his cleaners were not doing a great job at cleaning, letting him down. Unfortunately later on he sided with his cleaner who falsely accused my husband of hurling abuse over the phone to her, which he did not.

Terrible experience! My husband and I visited the hideaway villa for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The villa was nothing like the pictures, the room was dirty and smelt bad. It was not 'luxurious' or 'secluded' as promised. And there was a massive huntsman spider on the wall. We left within 5 mins of arriving. We called the head manager who responded poorly and he wouldn't even give us a partial refund. He hung up on us also. Very unprofessional and rude. He ruined our special day and didn't even apologise. Would not recommend. Save your money people.

Had a beautiful 2 nights away with my boyfriend. We absolutely LOVED it. So peaceful & relaxing. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend! :o)

The photos of this place need to be changed it is NOTHING like the photos at all! There was mice poo in the couch. My husband had to sleep on the floor due to the bed actually sinking in the middle and we are petite people! There was enough tea coffee and milk for one day and the toiletries that they say they supply… what toiletries! We had to go and buy tea and coffee and milk, toiletries which then added to our cost we didn’t even have soap. We also ran out of toilet paper. It was so unclean and unkept. It was our 25th wedding anniversary a huge milestone for anyone however we were both so disappointed and angry that we were taken for granted we spent over $800 for the two nights and it wasn’t worth $100 a night. These people need to be reported. Who sleeps on the floor on there wedding anniversary so so angry and disheartened that people can do this to people!

Loved stayed in the Dusk Villa for 2 nights the peace and quiet and surroundings are amazing. Highly recommended. Paul was very helpful when making the booking. Thoroughly enjoyed the fire, sauna and spa. Look forward to visiting again in the future. Thankyou Anne and Gordan.

Fantastic trip to the Blue Cliffs Retreat in Hepburn. The owners were incredibly helpful beforehand providing us with details of places to eat and things to do. We stayed in the hideaway villa which was just perfect. The photos on the website really don't do it justice, with a really secluded feel, and great views from the balcony and bath/Jacuzzi. There are only 3 or 4 properties on the whole complex so younreslly do feel like you have sufficient space. Already planning our next trip back! 10/10!

Dirty and Disappointing The pictures on the website show a beautiful lake with a paddle boat in it. These do not represent the state of blue cliffs retreat. In reality, the grounds are overgrown, the gazebo is corroded, the pond is dirty. Hideaway villa, where we stayed was full of dust and cobwebs. The dishes were dirty. The place hadn't been cleaned at all as shown in my pictures. The host states that you should call within 2 hrs of arriving if you have any issues. We got in at 930pm and the state of the place was such that we would have had to leave. The jacuzzi tub, which is the major selling feature of the property, was dirty and surrounded in a layer of dust. We cleaned it out and tried to fill it, but the water was yellow and as soon as we turned the jets on it blew a bunch of chunky brown stuff into the water. It is so disgusting that we didn't even shower while we were here. And no wonder the dishes were dirty. The host asks you to do your own dishes before you leave, but the cleaning supplies are just as disgusting as the rest of the place. We travelled all over Australia and New Zealand and this is by far the most disgusting place we've ever stayed. Holiday Parks and Hostels are cleaner than this. And at $250/night, anticipating a romantic getaway, I can't even communicate how disappointing it is. We poked around the property and the other places are just as gross. From the photos on the website, they used to look amazing. But this is a false representation.

My boyfriend and I recently just stayed two nights in the dreaming villa for his 30th birthday. It was so soo beautiful! The villa itself was warm and inviting, and had us relaxing in no time! The decor in there is gorgeous! We were also provided with a list of cafes/ restaurants which we found very handy and appreciate it! Wifi is very weak but not a bad thing, you can get it back on the main road. Would love to come back!

This place is amazing and relaxing. My fiancé and I stayed in the Gatsby Spa Studio and we absolutely loved it. Massage shower, spa and sauna were fantastic. The only problem I had was the driveway coming in and out. Very uneven surface and someone who owns a sedan/wagon would find it very hard going up and down. You're always looking for holes or high ground so your car doesn't scrape along the rocks. Small 4wd recommended. But would definitely come back during the summer and I would recommend it to couples who just want to get away for a relaxing weekend

Secluded location and intimate, yet spacious space. We had the entire retreat to ourselves (visited midweek). Would visit again. Only complaint is that the firewood was damp and there wasn't an axe to cut it in smaller chucks.

Beautiful secluded cabins with heaps of light and great views. Super comfy bed and all one needs to relax and unwind.
