This isba great little hotel to stay at, nice rooms, friendly staff.
Only issue is that there is no restraunt and tou have to make the shirt trip back to town for a feed. Too far to walk.

Very clean and comfortable motel. Only stayed 1 night but it met all expectations.
Comfortable bed and very good shower. Also very quiet, despite being near main road.
Would highly recommend.

Whilst there a lot of miners here, everyone was respectful and quiet and quite safe. The staff came back after hours to welcome us as we arrived very late.

It was a lovely an oasis in central Queensland. I missed my mom’s home I got there. Clean, neat and tidy. Plus very spacious.

We stayed at The Haven for 2 nights. Great apartment. Host was very helpful & accommodating of our needs. My husband has a neurological condition which affects his mobility.

Comfortable enough room with private bathroom. The food was typical pub quality, so no complaints.

Food and service is excellent in the main pub. The rooms are clean and have comfortable beds, but limited bench space in the room. No good if you have to use a laptop or work in the room.

Comfortable and clean, shower was not so good hot cold hot cold, great camp kitchen and facilities.

Nice accomodation, good amenities, snack shack for toast and cereals was good, property very well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very good food in town I ordered the rib fillet with garlic prawn and calamari on top.

Great venue, good food and friendly service. Variety of food options, and haven't had a bad meal. Reilly the bartender is terrific.

As a DIDO worker, this place would be one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. Room 12, Clean rooms, microwave, fridge, spotless modern bathrooms. Very peaceful.

Good service, very nice. Rooms were basic, but comfortable, clean and tidy.

We are travelling in caravan and we had a site on the lawn. It was lovely, neat and very spacious.
The managers Gary and his wife are so friendly and accommodating.

Beautifull little park, friendly staff, the amenities are old but very clean, wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

Cabins are terrific. Great views of lake callide (with the dirty power station on the horizon). Peaceful and great for a quick stop over (as we did) or longer if you are into fishing/watersports.

We messed up a booking, entirely our fault. The staff at Callide were 💯 helpful and understanding.

Cold beer, good food and the renovations have been tastefully completed creating a great atmosphere, well worth a stop.

Stayed out the back in our caravan with our dog on April 14 2024. Able to use the showers and toilets but we have them in the van.
Dinner was great. Sat in the beer garden with our dog.

Hard to find pet friendly motels when travelling so this is another plus. Food was very nice and satisfying, room very large and aircond lovely on very hot day. Staff extra friendly 5/5.

The new management is great, the park is very clean, large sized camping area.

Such a great spot. Close to the dam and national park. Epic pool/water park for kids. Heaps of space. Lots of wildlife. Our whole family loved it here.
