I absolutely love love love this Funky Retro flash back motel, clean comfortable and wonderful hosts and the salt pool a bonus!
I’ll Definitely be returning.

I have just spent the week at the Apollon Motor Inn. I have stayed there many times in the past and got to the point where there was nothing good about staying there anymore, the rooms were old and the service was terrible. Well, I would like everyone to know this hotel is under new management. My first encounter with staff was with John, the manager, he would have to be one of the most obliging people I have ever met and so friendly, it was like we had been friends for years. I then met the owner Loula, we were treated to an amazing roast dinner, what owner of a hotel does that! and then ask us if we would like dinner the next night as well. This to me is going above and beyond anything you would even expect from good service, I feel we were treated more like family than guests. I would also like to give con the maintenance man a mention, what a lovely friendly man. We had a slight problem with the shower, it was fixed within minutes of being told. This hotel is going to claim back the charm and warmth it used to have years ago. With Loula, George and John in charge, I think the future for the Apollon will put it back to its former glory. Thank you so much to you all, for a lovely week at my beloved victor.

Loula has done a wonderful job of fixing up the pool and up grading the services for customers. They are a pleasure to deal with and could not be more helpful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, My wife Janet and I have now visited Victor Harbor three times this year and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Since taking over late last year the Apollon is noticeably better and I take pleasure in recommending them to anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Victor.

Its a saturday night and they cant even let my girlfreind and I talk to each other in comfort in our own paid for room in our average volume witch I might add is barely considered loud in our paid for room behind closed doors. Im guessing because of one person whos made a complaint that we are too much of disturvance or somthing along those lines. But I show the up most respect to the staff/owner of the Apollo motor inn, for confronting the complaint emediatley!. Its Sunday morning now and come on! its a public holiday his Monday. Anyways.?

Great reception when first greeted, possibly a little too long to check in. Rooms were large and clean. Handy location, next to supermarket and Mc'Donald's.

Great place to go Phillip and Maxine are friendly and the kids love the place they love the pool especially when Phillip cranks up the heater for them very quiet place with everything by your doorstep.

Had an amazing 4 Nights over New Years here. 2 Bedroom unit was very clean, and spacious and very comfortable. Staff were amazing. Very friendly and Helpful. The Kids loved the Pool and the Wi-Fi for their Ipads. Location, location, location! Couldn't ask for a better spot. Close to everything. Especially the Train station for our excursion to Goolwa for the day. Great family feel accommodation. Looking forward to returning for another getaway.

Great place to stay. Managers friendly and helpful to meet your accomodation needs, they offer lots of knowledge of the local region on places to see and go. Rooms were very clean, comfortable beds and nice coffee. On our next visit to Victor Harbour we will stay there again.

We recently spent 2 nights at your motor inn and would like to say how much we enjoyed the stay. Our upstairs room (no. 19) was clean, spacious and sunny – perfect for our short stay. Having a microwave and toaster as well as tea/coffee making facilities in the room is always a bonus for us. Management was very friendly and obliging with nothing being too much trouble. The complex is in an ideal location amongst shopping outlets, a variety of takeaway shops and supermarkets and just a couple of blocks from the shoreline, retail shops and restaurants. Thanks once again for helping make our stay enjoyable.

I stayed here for a night. Just looked for somethibg small and quiet to do my study. The motel was close to maccas and coles which was good.
The man that greeted me when I checked in was lovely and very helpful and the lady when I checked out was very friendly — I would come back just for the customer service
The room I was offered was well presented and clean. Bed was a bit hard but can't win them all. The heater worked a treat albeit a bit loud so I turned it off to sleep. Even though the upstairs neighbours and the ones behind me were a bit loud (loud footsteps and banging on the wall) I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, warm, spacious rooms in a great location. Friendly hosts, home away from home! Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved it for a motel of age it's been lovingly taken care of the staff & ammenities were excellent and we will definitely go back well done so close to everything as well and loved the aircon.

When in Victor Harbor we always stay at the Apollon its right in the heart of town staff are great rooms are very comfortable the aircondiseners could do with an up grade over all 8/10

We highly recommend the Apollon Motor Inn. On a road trip we stopped late in the afternoon at Victor Harbor & booked into the Apollon for a short stay. We were very impressed with the Motel as our room had a view of the Harbor and we watched the steam train as it turned around on the turn table. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with everything you need including plates, glasses, table and chairs, heaps of room for our luggage and a very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. The Apollon was close to all facilities, and only minutes walking distance from shops, restaurants, the esplanade and causeway to Granite Island. We will never stay anywhere but the Apollon in Victor Harbor and next time it will definitely be for a longer stay. Thank you Maxine for your hospitality — Cris & Nev.

We had a wonderful time in Victor Harbor staying at the Apollon. Maxine and Phillip were so helpful and cheerful and made us feel so welcome. Maxine organised our day trip to Kangaroo Island including pick up and drop off at the Motel. What a wonderful day trip that was. Room was large and comfortable with everything you need including plates, glasses, 2 comfy chairs and a very comfortable bed. We will never stay anywhere but the Apollon in Victor Harbor and will definitely return. Jan and Terry.

Stayed 2 nights from 16/2/2016. Maxine was extremely helpful & for $10 extra we upgraded to a large front of hotel room with views towards the water. The room was very clean & extremely spacious. I wish to thank you Maxine for the information on restaurants & day trips to take from & around Victor Hbr. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Will stay again on next visit.

A good Motel with wonderful Hosts. Nice large and clean rooms. Familyrooms are sleeping esely 3adults. Close to Shopping and Down Town Vic Harbour. As well excellent location for trips to Kangaroo Island, and the surounding area. I can strongly recommend this Motel.

We had a wonderful time at this quiet and clean motel in Victor Harbour. Spacious and very comfortable room, a little indoor pool, nice retro interior and antiques made us feel at home and pampered. Furthermore, the motel is situated only 1 min. Walk from the beach, little cafes and shops. We loved the welcoming, very friendly and helpful staff, who were always happy to give advice or to have a nice chat with them. We'd love to come back! Many thanks for the great time!

We have regularly visited Victor Harbor over the years because it is a very safe and great destination for families. On each occasion we have stayed at the Apollon Motor Inn where the standard of service and facilities are of a very high standard. The owners of the property are both very welcoming and caring. The quality of the rooms is very good, very clean and comfortable. The family rooms are spacious and our family room had 2 separate bedrooms and a living room with plenty of appliances/utensils/cutlery/glasses and a fridge. An indoor pool and games room keep the children happy and entertained. The Apollon is close to all facilities and the main shopping centre and only minutes walking distance from the esplanade and causeway to Granite Island. We highly recommend the Apollon Motor Inn.

Great location, quiet, comfortable accommodation. Close to the beach for long walks and central for everything. The motel pools is great too.
