Friendly staff but ensuite site is run down. It was also challenging to set up. Driveway for car in our site was on an incline. For a Big 4 Park you would expect more.

Friendly staff. Ensuite sites clean but old. Lots of grassed areas. Dog friendly. Wi-Fi non existent and sporadically available. Be lovely in this very cold weather to have a fire pit.

Beautiful park, campsites, cabins and very clean amenities. We’ve stayed there twice and will do so again ❤️

Excellent location, particularly for visiting the crater lakes, but also good for walking into town, though it is a bit steep on the return journey. Good exercise, but I’d recommend a taxi 😀

So close to everything. Plenty of space between vans. Lovely walks. Quiet except for the early morning alarm of hundreds of cockies. But, I don’t mind that type of noise. 👍

We had a lovely stay in November last year. Staff was very friendly and the park is well kept.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom Bungalow very clean and just a beautiful location. Highly recommend this place. The park had beautiful green grass areas. By far the best park we have stayed in this year. We will be back to stay again.

Great location, nice green sites. Good amenities. I would imagine that somewhere on the to do list should be updating/ enlarging the pool area to a more resort style one. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a retreat cabin. It was absolutely spotless clean. Well equipped kitchen. Park is beautiful and great for kids with lots for them to do. Great location and close to all the hot spots. Highly recommend.

Only here overnight but lovely park, good position and facilities. Was dog friendly which was great as we had our cavoodle with us. Small issue was our site was right next to the road which was a little noisy but would highly recommend this caravan park.

We spent 4 nights here and loved it! Great park and jumping pillow for the kids. Great amenities and very well kept. Location is beautiful right opposite the Blue Lake, and Mount Gambier town is just a short drive. Highly Recommend.

Large park with lots of powered sites. You check in then pick your own sites. Luckily enough we found the last two sites side by side as we had travelling companions and did not want to be separated. Amenities a bit of a hike through the night but well lit up. Sites not real level but good enough.

This caravan park offers exceedingly clean grounds and amenities. It’s large enough not to feel you are on top of your neighbour. The trees are fabulous, you can have your dog with you and the price is great.

Lovely clean caravan park. But could do with a lot of maintenance. Burnt myself with the showers due to cold water tap being hard to turn on.

Good park. Amenities could be updated but clean. Didn't have much to do with staff only to book in found it strange when told to pick your own site.

Wow, what an awesome park in an awesome location. Close to the local attractions of mount gambier. Good large sites, excellent camp kitchen & amenities. Staff also friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning to further explore the region.

My friend and I booked a night stay at the park for Thursday 30th Aug. The price was good and the folks were lovely and helpful. We had driven from Adelaide and it was dark, raining and very cold by the time we arrived. We had already been given the details for a late arrival and that had gone smoothly. The best was still to come. Once getting to our cabin we found a light had been left on for us AND THEY HAD ALSO PUT THE HEATER ON. We walked into a well set up, clean, light on and warm cabin. It was so welcoming! We were able to just bring our things in and then sit and enjoy our dinner in a beautiful warm environment. Well done. 10 OUT OF 10 from us. I have been telling everyone. Those little things make such a difference. Well done and thank you.

Stayed in the basic cabin, it was clean and tidy and the heater was on for us on arrival which was nice in winter time. Staff was friendly and helpful, park has a beautiful look and is in a beautiful location away from the main town and next to nice parks and walks. The friendly golf club around the corner has a courtesy bus and a decent feed.

Dated and fairly expensive – probably OK if you are into caravan parks. Tiny bedrooms and living area, oversized bathrooms. Fairly expensive compared to other accommodations in Mount Gambier. On the pro side you get pretty decent facilities – kids get to enjoy lots of space, games room, playground, pool, jumping pillow. On the other side the rooms (cabins) look very dated. The cabins are clean and fairly well maintained but their age is really showing now with that almost retro “80s chic”. Staying in a cabin with a “luxurious double spa” one questions the design choice of sacrificing so much space for a huge bathroom from the living area and the bedrooms. I don’t think that “spectacular views” and windows “overlooking stunning links golf course” are worth the premium price. In the end it’s probably a lifestyle decisions – if you like staying at caravan parks you are likely to enjoy it, if you don’t – you will find it rather tacky and expensive (compared to local hotels and motels).

Very disappointed. Booked a bungalow, no separate beds for kids and the beds were quite uncomfortable. Ended up with 2 nights of poor sleep. The floor was quite dirty when we first walked in. Stove top didn't work. The staff were very unhelpful and just kept saying how busy they were. I am glad I didn't purchase a Big 4 membership. I did not think this was very good value for money.

Booked in whilst driving from Adelaide Eastward bound. Got stuck behind an accident so phoned ahead and said we would be late. They organised to put keys in a pin coded box. When we arrived there were no keys left in our name so were left waiting at 9pm at night for a caretaker to come and sort it out. Not happy, we are Big 4 members but won't be staying here again. This is not rocket science. Exceptionally tired and frustrated at the moment.

What a beautiful place to stay. The nicest big 4 that we've stayed in so far. Great place for R & R. The blue lake is stunning and just around the corner. Plenty of places to explore.

We paid $187.50 PER NIGHT and had a very basic holiday unit. For that price we expected much more. There was no room for a portacot. Friends of ours arrived on the day we left, stayed in a holiday unit exactly the same (same number of people in their family) and they paid only $167 per night! My parents stayed at the same time we did and had a lovely cottage which actually had room to sit, had an iron, a bathroom you could turn around in and seemed really very nice for a much better price.

Beautiful scenery in a beautiful setting and really friendly staff. Only let down by the cold, small ensuites on the ensuite powered sites with shower curtains (I always consider them havens for bacteria) and the hot/cold taps on the opposite sides to usual resulting in confused kids nearly being burnt. No sullage drain on our site. Also there's So. Much. Dirt everywhere. The kids were caked in it from the site, the playground and the jumping pillow everyday.

Nice and casual. Some v. Good sites. Good shower blocks. Can easily walk round the blue lake from here.

Stayed here for the first time, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay (Stayed for 5 nights). The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The 3 bedroom bungalow was lovely and loved the location being at the end of the park where it was very quiet especially at night. All facilities were clean and tidy.
Kids loved the new playground and jumpy pillow.

Separate kids bathroom, kids toilet, hot showers, cleanliness and even a separate dish washing sink was what I appreciated the most apart from all the high end facilities like a jumping pillow, garden, play area, swimming pool etc!

Beautiful spot; accommodation (cabin) in reasonable condition; However, my personal experience very bad; booked the accommodation online the night before and was not given what I had paid for (bed configuration was not appropriate) ; discussions with the staff at reception proved fruitless — I was told I should not have booked online but should have telephoned instead (why is there an online booking system, then? ; the "lady" at reception even went on to accuse me of not being able to use an online booking service — "You must have pressed the wrong button"! Although I was attempting to hold a reasonable and measured discussion about how this could have happened and how to fix it, she continued to argue loudly with me in front of other staff and customers that I had indeed used the booking system incorrectly. She was not wiling to apologise nor to endeavour to fix/improve the situation. I was astounded that anyone running a business could treat customers in such a fashion. Needless to say, I had to keep the accommodation I was given and spent an uncomfortable night on a single foam mattress, squashed into the middle bunk of a triple bunk bed.
