We were in the motel section. Really comfortable room with easy access to the river front. Great location and service.

Great place to stay. The Receptionist was so helpful and caring towards clients. Room good and air conditioner fantastic as so cold whilst staying there. Even had electric beds — so warm. Thanks to all.

My lamb shank was cold. I had to get it heated up. Not impressed. Over the past few years I or someone at my table has either had a luke warm meal or not had their meal served at the same time as everyone else. I wouldn't recommend Loxton Hotel to anyone.

Have to say the meal served Sat night was good except the pork spare ribs (which was fatty pork belly) was revolting. Was just fat and wasnt cooked well. Very disappointing. Only one table complained but have heard many comments that all thed pork was terrible.

Great place to eat. They have a seasonal menu as well as your pub faves. Casual, warm and cosey. Friendly staff. Also have open fireplaces in the Bistro.

Great country hotel. Lots of options for accommodation and dining from budget to formal. Always a pleasure to stay here.

I say often for work. Motel rooms are new and always clean. Complimentary biscuits etc. Staff are always very friendly.

Room was ok for price but don't go for dinner to late as it's shuts the kitchen earlier than advertised just a over priced wanna be yuppie pub.

Although Loxton hotel was quaint and the staff were nice. I found dining there a big rip off. I paid for my family at the breakfast bar plus a hot breakfast. We had to tell staff that they were empty. The looks were vacant. I heard one lady complaining on the lack of food. They should abandon breakfast as they can't supply. They run out of everything. Not happy and could have saved my money as they are overpriced. Someone is getting rich?. The strange part about this is they decided to fill the juice jug when everyone was leaving. Not recommended for dining.

I thought the when I first arrived I was in a 5 star hotel, but to my surprise, it had a lesser standard. During my dine in with friends, I found myself relaxed by the chill atmosphere. Food was spectacular and me and boys had a great night out. Can't wait to go again.

I had a stop for dinner there two years ago. The food was very nice, the same for the wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No information about the accomodation.

I stayed in the 300' rooms and was very impressed given cost asked for them, instant hot water, comfy enough bed and a good modern feel. The restaurant was more typical Pub bistro decor and my medium scotch fillet was well done. Saw what other associations had and they were happy enough. For sure I'd stay again and recommend.

A lot of the desserts are coffee related and are very strong, coffee wise, especially the panna cotta.

Salt and pepper squid was delish. Robbo had natural oysters and lambs fry, they were also delish.

Had a great lunch chose golden syrup dumplings for dessert — yum — all while enjoying the open fire — no better way to enjoy a day out.

Fantastic meal in the Bistro, which was much needed after a long day. The Loxton Hotel was beautiful, well presented and provided a nice, relaxing atmosphere. A good menu with a range of choices and reasonable pricing was the cherry on top.

The other mains ordered at the table were absolutely spot on. The salad bar was fantastically stocked, and very fresh. Was a little disappointed that the soup was a reconstituted soup, this definitely let the meal down.

Had an enjoyable dinner and the kids loved the roast of the day! Definitely recommend for dinner if nearby. Has the good old pub vibe.

It's a nice location with good food — good for social events and parties and that. One can book in advance out just turn up — usually it's not too crowded. The chicken parmigiana schnitzels are beautiful, and the service it pretty great too.

Usually stay in the outside rooms which are excellent but decided to stay inside. Room was okay but really need to address air conditioning unit noise and basic amenities in the rooms. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Food was overpriced and bland. Fish was meant to be grilled and came basically raw and could not be eaten and chicken for $20 was about the size of a squashed thigh fillet. Salad bar uninspiring and not of the standard country hotels usually serve up. Having grown up in Loxton I recall the meals here being of a much higher standard.

Rooms OK, would of liked to have breakfast at 6.30am, even in my room.

We had a function here for my wife's work. The service, food, and function room were excellent. The hotel rooms were clean spacious and well appointed. Breakfast the next morning was quite hearty and inexpensive at $15 (for the complete breakfast).
