Afforable prices, clean rooms and friendly staff. Provides cooked breakfast and dinner. Nice setting with plenty of parking.

Clean room but a little dated. Restaurant onsite but if you want to go anywhere else you have a 20min walk or you’ll need to drive/taxi.

Management made me very welcome and treated me admirably helping me out at All times. Restaurant food first class. Would recomend.

Loved it. Simple, basic and old school.

Was good. Nice place shame the pool was too dirty to go swimming.

Spent a weekend at Tanunda for the Hot Rod show and didn't feel like leaving too quickly.

A bit small but is a nice location and the service was very good.

This accommodation is placed well is very friendly, spacious and comfortable.

Room was clean & OK but shower had quite a
bit of mould in it, needs a lot of exit mould applied or grout needs replacing.

Pros — clean — comfortable bed — air conditioning, electric blankets, TV, coffee facilities worked well — convenient parking — good location Cons — shower pressure low — quite outdated — need to dry self behind a shower screen if sharing.

Do not stay here! The lady is sooo rude, unhelpfull, awful to deal with! Not pleasant what so ever. Rooms are disgusting! So put off from this experience! Sleep in your car. Much better!

Absolutely Beautiful motel! My wife and I stayed only one night this experience was second to none the owners are great people the hospitality of the highest standard! Meals are excellent Bar facility excellent! We will return again for an enjoyable experience!

After staying in the motel from hell in Adelaide I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the Barossa Motor Lodge is for less than we paid in Adelaide. We ate in the restaurant the vegetable curry was delicious poached figs Devine, with chocolate port to top the night off. The pool was a welcome opportunity to cool off after the long day. I would recommend staying in this wonderful place and hopefully one day be able to return sincerely Liane B Aleeya Lady Buddha.

I stayed in barossa motor lodge on the way to adelaide.
I arrived rather late as we had driven a considerable way.
Upon arrival at 9.30pm I was rudely handed my receipt for the room and not a single hello.
I then ensured a porta cot was in the room for my baby. The lady rudely responded and said no I didn't order it. I asked politely if she could check the order as I was positive I ordered one. She abruptly responded with oh well ill have to go and get one wont I.
She pointed out my room location in the dark which wasnt easy to find, then 10 minutes later she threw the porta cot in the door. I said im so sorry if it didn't come up on the order. She shook her head and said no it didn't and left.
Absolutely appawling service. I will never stay here again. And I am considering getting married in tanunda and I will let all my guests know not to stay in this awful motel.

Unfortunately our room was riddled with huge moths, lady was extremely rude on both occasions we dealt with her. Gentleman on the other hand was very polite and helpful.

Neat and tidy. Only slept 1 night for Barossa Gourmet Weekend. Didn't use any other facilities available. Bed comfy and quiet.

Friendly staff, the continental breakfast was served nearly and labelled. Pillows are quite hard which is too bad because the bed itself is great, the pool could be cleaner. Other than that, highly reccomended.

The rooms were semi ok found dirty hair ties in them. The manager staff were extreemly rude and seemed to have not cared about customer service. Bathrooms need to be renovated Worst experience ever having to take kids out for a night away Very dissapointed in the service as cost us about $300 total for night and food etc… Never again.

Mostly a good review here — we were treated like troublemakers upon arrival simply because we were a basketball team there for the Barossa Carnival. Obviously the Motor Lodge has had trouble with drunken and/or unruly basketballers in the past but in my opinion that is not a good enough reason to be surly towards all other teams, especially when we were made to sign a "good behaviour" agreement. That being said, when we checked out the attitude of the owners had completely changed — they were lovely! I can't fault them for being wary of basketballers given their history, but there are better ways of handling it. Apart from that, the rooms were very comfortable, the bed was fantastic, rooms were well appointed and cared for. The one negative I did notice was that the rooms had that "old lady" mothball smell about them. Apart from that, a wonderful stay. I would recommend this Motor Lodge to friends. Thank you so much! Finally I have found a decent motel in the Barossa, Coming here for work quite often I have found it hard getting quality accommodation with personal service, that is until now. This motel is run by a couple with the best disposition ever, extremely friendly, very accommodating and perfect food. Terrific rooms that are quiet and super clean. I will be recommending this great motel to all my friends and colleagues with no hesitation. Great work.

We came across this hotel when we were blocked out of Adeliade due to an auto race. Big room, clean and right near town. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.
