The new menu is top of the range including pizzas burgers and some modern spins on classic pub meals. Cold beer on tap with large selection of top shelf and wines.

The menai has long been a Burnie staple, and back in the day, it was the place to be to see some of the biggest Aussie bands of the time.

Lovely place to stay, great location great amenities and the hosts couldn't be more helpful Thankyou Heather looking forward to staying on my next visit.

Stopped by for lunch today, the food came out hot and fast, the staff Rachelle and Jen are really lovely and friendly. The restaurant filled up pretty fast so that was great to see.

Well appointed very clean room in central walking/ drive to downtown Burnie. Bed comfortable. Only downside is fridge could incorporate a freezer.

Very clean and tidy and comfortable bedding. Beautiful location on the river and close enough to walk to Somerset shops. Close enough to Burnie for the city but lively here.

I really liked it here. Warm host. He is enthusiastic of exploring the NW area. Out front is riverside fishing and chilling. Mini fridge has a few drink options and snacks to purchase. Clean.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom apartment. Now this would not suit anyone who struggles with stairs as there are 2 lots to go up to get to apartment. The apartment was very well set out and quite spacious.

Character home with lovely decoration. Only $165 as bathroom needs a make over. It is still pleasant. Close to water in a semi industrial area.

This is a great place to stay, the rooms are very spacious, consisting of all necessary amenities! The owners are great, polite and friendly.

It was one of the best caravan parks and camping sites we’ve ever stayed at. We weren’t expecting such cleanliness and the stunning views. It truly felt like being somewhere in Europe.

This place is really lovely. Large room with this amazing mirror. Decor neat and classy. Bed comfortable and great size bathroom. Comfortable couch. No aircon but really good quality fans.

Good location, clean room, comfy bed, what more can you ask for? Probably more on the expensive side in comparison to Devonport but they do have the monopoly. Would stay again.

Walking distance to penguin experience. Lovely modern room which includes a continental breakfast and daily service. There is a guest laundry. We upgraded to an ocean view which is recommended.

We stayed just for one night. Location was perfect and we had a nice view of the beach. Very clean and affordable, we enjoyed the free breakfast.

Nice place to stay, central to basically everything. We had the Ocean first floor apartment which has a great view.

Being on the main through road in Burnie, this comes with constant traffic noise, including through the night.

We arrived late for check in and were greeted nicely and they helped us find the guest car park. We were upgraded to a beautiful room and enjoyed the views.

Clean, tastefully decorated, modern rooms, comfy beds with quality linen, and amazing views! We booked a villa with 2 bedrooms (and 2 ensuites) for a work trip, was reasonably priced and clean.

A rustic yet charming, clean, and homely cottage in an idyllic countryside setting. The hosts were incredibly nice and welcoming.

The lady on the front desk was friendly, accommodating & helpful, the showers were a bit tired, but spotlessly clean & hot water plentiful.

We stayed in our van, $35 a night. The facilities were very clean. You can go on the bike trail to either Burnie or Wynyard. Pet friendly 🐕

We had the family room and it was fantastic for us 4 adults. The rooms are new & modern. Sleeps up to 7 & has 2 bathrooms. Staff where very welcoming & helpful. Great start to our trip.

The three bedroom apartment was clean and plenty big enough to accommodate 6 of us. The staff were lovely and even brought our meals up to our room. The food was also really good, very big meals.

Mount Gnomon Farm is a gem of a Tasmanian wedding venue—rustic, romantic, and ridiculously charming.

Dropped in with family to buy some homemade cured meats, unfortunately some recent events had depleted the stocks and wedding meant the shop not open.

Wonderful place to stay for a family. Amazing views with an absolutely beautiful house to stay in. Host came by when we arrived and showed the kids the chooks as well as letting them collect the eggs.

The owners were absolutely lovely, made our stay so special. The lodges are homely and have everything you’d need.

We had a wonderful stay in Pod 2 and loved the outlook and everything about the Pod, even the small bathroom had shelving once we hung the towels up. The choice of products is wonderful, L'Occitane

Meals are delicious and extremely generous portions. The service is fantastic — staff are super friendly and helpful. Recommend booking ahead as they are always busy.

We rented apartments 1 & 2 for three nights in December 2024. Both apartments are stylish, well-equipped and have heat pumps/air-con and very comfortable electrically adjustable beds.

Ting the hostess is a lovely lady who always makes her guests feel welcome. I stayed twice in 4 years.

One night only. Very good. Everything as expected. Price reasonable. Bed comfortable. Facilities clean and tidy. Nice view over town out to Bass Strait.

In the heart of the main street opposite the beach, but away from the main hub. Extremely large unit on the ground level which could have catered for a king bed. Lighting was inadequate.

Everything that we wanted. 2 nights wasnt long enough. Washing machine, detergent and even pegs. Couldnt recommend them highly enough. Close to everthing and the view from the baclony was unreal.

Room was clean and roomier than most with a good sized bathroom. The hotel is an old building but in relatively good condition.

The two bedroom apartment at The Madsen was the perfect spot to spend a couple of nights while exploring the northwest of Tasmania.
