We must have gotten lucky to get what we think is one of the best Bungalows! Best staff we’ve come across in qld! Well done.

Easy and spacious accommodation. Private but super close to everything. Paradise at my door step.

Way to much building work going on which no one told us or warned us.
it was suppose to be a cill out few days, not much chance of that with all this building noise. No comp or apology either.

Always a great Holiday! Would definitely recommend the Palm Bunglaows. Easy access, no waiting for lifts, great to have the grass out front, wallabys & own buggy park.

Terrific place to stay. Clean friendly quiet safe room 34 close to beach restaurants and to the pool. Beautiful sunrise sunset. Awesome.

Private, comfortable and all the amenities you need. I've stayed at the Palm Bungalows twice now, and they're great. Away from the hustle & bustle but close to all restaurants & important sites on Hamilton Island, as the Bungalows are linked with the Reef Resort, you receive access to all the amenities… The small kitchenette also allows for you to eat in for easy lunches and dinners… I'll definitely be back.

Loved it. Very clean… coffee tea etcc supplied. Worth every cent Loved the Hammock! Had dinner at the Chu Restaurant. Overrated. Too expensive. Give it a miss. $17 for a glass of house wine!

We had a great time staying at the bungalows. It felt private and homie. The hammocks are a great touch for winding down and enjoying the late night breeze. Staff was also super friendly and happy to help with any concerns. Continental breakfast was included (3 nighy stay), access to 3 pools, free water sports rentals at the beach. The Island was still being fixed up after the storm in 2017 (visited in Nov 17) and it was remarkable how quickly they rebuilt. We did notice areas that were in need of some work, but it's not going to magically happen overnight. I'm sure by now it looks great.

Gorgeous Island. Great location. The family loved it again. This was our third time.

We totally loved staying at the Palm Bungalows, it was all that we needed for the short periods of time when we weren't out and about exploring or doing some of the many activities Hamilton Island has on offer. It was nice being in the garden where the kids could run around or we could laze on the patio. The breakfast was fantastic and pools amazing. Highly recommended.

Due to weather was unable to travel — refused to provide any compensation including date change. Very poor customer service, will not stay here again. NIL duty of care from staff.

Extremely disappointing! The facilities are old and shabby. The beach and pool area dirty. Reception staff unable or unwilling to provide any type of service. The rooms are in need of renovation, especially the palm bungalows. There is no service at the beach or pool area. No pool towels available. The entire island is rather worn and I just cannot understand the hype. A complete waste of time. Would not recommend, there are many many much better places in Aus and around the world. Housekeeping was horrible, more sand in the room than before they arrived, having just shaking out towels in the room and hung them up again from the floor. Commented on poor facilities and service to hotel guest services, never received any feedback or was contacted again. While staff are friendly, nothing is delivered in terms of service. The pictures below sadly paint a better picture of the place.

Extremely over priced — I feel cheated! Its the little things you expect when paying so much — bottled water in the room, dressing robes, towels provided at the beach and pool, clean beach/pool furniture, clean pool area & bar service, flip flops etc. Staff are generally friendly and the bungalow was ok but extremely basic and definitely not worth the price! I struggle to see how they could justify $100 a night. I’m a proud Queenslander who doesn’t usually leave reviews but felt compelled given I was bitterly disappointed with the island and felt so ripped off — it feels more like a big holiday park. For the price your better off renting a nice place on the Sunshine Coast or take a trip to Asia or Pacific islands where you get better quality and more for your money!

A fantastic destination for a romantic getaway. You feel like your in your own place private and quite. Your holiday starts off with being chauffeur driven with your bags to your bungalow. They place your bags in your room for you, no need to carry anything yourself. The air conditioner is already on so your bungalow it beautiful and cool. You have a king size bed a lounge/daybed that has another pull out be underneath. Then a well appointed kitchenette with a little fridge for you to keep your own things in. Tea coffee and hot chocolate and sugar provided for you and refreshed everyday. A beautiful big private bathroom with a shower that fits two people easily, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and soap provided and replace everyday and a separate toilet. Was given a beautiful bottle of champagne and chocolates and a beautiful card welcoming us. A sort stroll to cat's eye beach and to the many pools around the resort. You won't be disappointed. Not to mention the FANTASTIC staff, there isn't anything that is to much trouble for them to assist you. This is our second time here and we will be back again. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Spacious, clean, fully equipped and well maintained. Felt very comfortable with a toddler and 3month old baby thanks to two prams, high chair, portacot, portable change table, baby feeding bowl and spoon all on loan. All staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

We chose the bungalows over the hotel and loved it. The hotel has lots of noisy kids whereas the bungalows are preferred by those who want peace and quiet. I just wish they would allocate a non-smoking row because our neighbours smoked on the porch constantly which spoilt out experience as we had to go inside and close up every time they did that.

Great for small families. Independent hot water and Air conditioning. Got Stuck inside for Cyclone Debbie in March 2017. We felt very safe during the entire 14 hrs.

Absolutely pathetic, was laughed at by the general manager called Brooke. After we explained that we can not afford Upto $400 extra a night due to a cyclone totalling $800+ then where told to find alternative accommodation have in mind we explained we have a two year present.
What a disgrace, money is worth more than a human life.
I have been coming here for years and I will never set foot on this island again.

The location is very good close to the Marina, shops and restaurants. The bungalow it self is pretty good has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The only thing I will have to say is the house keeping standards is pretty mimermal. We have complained that we had no milk for coffee and tea and still not being replaced.
The other thing was we were told that we would have champagne and chocolates on arrival for our honeymoon but found no champagne or chocolates after we complained we received a bottle of champagne.
Would have thought that they would have done something special for our arrival.

Clean, neat, modern, new, gorgeous surroundings. The bungalows have its own kitchen stove so for those who likes to cook a little bit its perfect. But house keeping was pretty average. Definitely nothing to be expected beyond 3 stars. Staff were very friendly indeed.

Great romantic spot. Loads of wildlife and flowers. Nice resort with plenty of amenities. Must go to whitehaven for the beach it is amazing and breathtaking. My only complaint is breakfast is overly priced and should be included with the rooms. The quality of the food is not in par with the quality of the resort.

Hi, we are loving our time here in the Palm bungalows. It's Modern and clean and located right in the centre of where most things are on the island. We have 2 young kids so this place means we can walk only a few steps to the pool, restaurant, beach or any activity. Plus the fact the bungalows is serviced by house keeping every day is a big plus, in my books.

Beautifully renovated and surprisingly private. The palm bungalows are great! A close walk to the beach and main resort and away from the hustle and bustle of reef view. Full. Kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stove etc. Bring your own breakfast and lunch to save some coin. We had two bungalows side by side and it was nice to have an family close while retaining your own privacy. You don't get the view of the reef and ocean but you do get a hammock and chilled garden vibe. Brilliant.

Beautiful surroundings, convenient location. Everything you need in one place. Certainly yhe best resort I've stayed at. Affordable, but with a luxury feel. Certainly highly recommend.

Excellent experience with nature! Fantastic time staying there … you wake up between kangaroos parrots and all that this island you can reserve!

Great little self contained bungalows in very nice surroundings. We had wallabies in our garden and visits from birds and everything on the resort and marina is walking distance. Also buses get you everywhere you need to be.

Cosy little free-standing accommodation options, no spectacular views but nice tropical rainforest feel as you lie in the hammock on the balcony away from the big hotel. Nice recently refurbished interior.

Fantastic rooms. Great facilities… Fridge, sink, toaster, kettle, LCD TV and wi fi included. Very comfortable king bed. They bungalow was clean, well presented and modern. Close to facilities, and you can use the laundry in the main resort. $4 wash and $4 dry (need your own detergent). Easy walk to the marina, but a free bus every 15 minutes is available. Highly recommend staying here.

Very nice and central to both sides of the island. Might not be on the beach, but its quiet and can walk to both sides of the island. Will stay here again one day.

Typical hotel. Rooms are spacious nothing fancy but clean and accommodating and upper floors have excellent views. Food at breakfast is average. Place is very busy but staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is very convennient for activities on the island. Good place to stay for families with kids or young travellers.

Great place to have a drink while watching the sunset. Drinks are very pricey though.
