Fantastic service and great food.

$8 for a great northern is pretty rough, that’s the most expensive I have had in NQ, the bar staff also didn’t look happy to be there. Kids meals took almost an hour to arrive but the playground facilities are top shelf.

Reef Gateway motel. Stayed 2 night. Rooms very comfortable. Staff cant do enough for you. Fantastic please to be. We recommend it's the place to stay.

Nice pub. Food not bad, but nothing to rave about. Do like the fact they are helping the farmers with the drought by purchasing a "Parma for a farmer " campaign.

Good value, has kids club but nothing in it except $2 a pop claw machine games. Ok pub grub food.

The place is wonderful. It has all the amenities you require, kids play areas, bistro, etc. The meal I had was awesome, and all the ones coming out also looked great. Highly recommended! Will definately visit again.

A nice Tav with everything you need on site… coutesy bus… a bit pricey but quality food and nice salad bar. Latest pokies… pool table, sports bar, accomodation, bottle shop, nice events, family/kids friendly… clean and relax atmosphere. Welcoming staff.

Service was CRAP, food was Good… wished I could give it 2.5 Stars as it was not even really OK-seriously had my 80yr Old Grandmother with us tonight (family of 5) for dinner, asked if they had a table of 5 inside as it was bloody hot & was told “no we don’t have any tables of 5 inside only outside” yet there were 3 tables of 4 right in front of us, asked to put 2 together but was told “no we can’t do that” so I said thanks for nothing then saw 2 tables of 6 at the back near the angle zoo side so we just ignored the useless waitress & went & sat down there (was Lovely & cool inside, especially for an 80yr old! )
I Will say Dinner was huge & pretty tasty… (don’t ask for a take home bag, again not to helpful there! ) And sadly then we had a go in the pokey room which had the same very average service… such a shame really as we’ve never had great service let alone good service here, yet being only just down the street we keep trying it every few mths hoping it will improve & No it doesn’t-no change in bad service!

Nice hotel, great meals, value for money.

Nice place to go for a quick beer with a large venue. Very large actually. And if you sit out the back you get a nice view of the hills. p. S see if you can find the hidden little creek out back.

Group of 7 of us being 3 adults and 4 kids went for dinner. The menu was quite expansive from huge steaks, pasta, seafood to pizza and awesome ribs. Price was a little higher than I'm use to for a pub but it was better than average pub grub, Salad bar and dessert bar too. Probably a good idea to book.

Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Would be good to have small table and chairs outside rooms to have morning coffee.

Good food, reasonable prices. Has sports Bar, TAB etc, gaming room if so desired. Accomodation also but I have not stayed.

We were up from the Gold Coast for the Melbourne Cup. Great venue. Good food. Friendly and efficient staff.

If you like rude bad service and over priced food that has more salt than thr Pacific ocean eat here you will love it Two visits to this place in a matter of months has me vowing never to ever go back again.

Thursday is great as they have a great T-bone special. However we went last Saturday and it was great for the kids with lots of dessert for them! Good food. Busy but that's the atmosphere you want at a pub.

Great play area for the kids, plenty for them to do. Excpept for the desert bar, food unfortunately was not as real good at all. Happy we visited but probably would not be back. Staff was excellent though.

Great rooms except no hot water meals great next door.

Service was average … not interested in helping. Ordered a Bourbon n coke zero in a glass and was charged $10.20 … wow! … not expected at all … in the city it's worth at most $9.00 … prices on the high side I'd say, lost my thirst after that! Had a table of 10 people and to make things easier to pay at end of night, asked for one bill or tab to simplify things … nope too hard, had to pay individually at register! Staff started vacuuming floors at 8.15pm on a Saturday Night, when customers are still there eating and socialising … a subtle hint to leave maybe?! On the plus side, the food was okay … hence the 2 stars and not 1 star.
Better places in Airlie Beach to eat n drink than this place …

I was absolutely floored when I went to the public bar and asked for a soft drink. Can of Coke Zero $4.00. You should hang your head in shame. And to top it off lady went to the bar later in the night to pay by card and was told quite bluntly we don't take cards cash only you need to get money out from the ATM, to which she has to also pay a fee to use. You food has improved out of this world and would come back again for this but your drink prices and service definitely needs to be overhauled. Shame on you…

Huge outdoor area out the back, nice dinning room although a little noisy. Had a rump steak and it was a good size and cooked well.

Great food, really good service. Table settings were really nice. Very happy.

Good and cheap lunch deals. Not the best in town but defiantly good for what you pay.

The steak was roar and got sick off seafood… never go back… poor service.
