We stayed in a family cabin is was big and spacious for the 3 of us.
Very clean and close to everything.
Staff were friendly when we needed to use them and helpful with picking our tours.

This is our third year in a row staying at island gateway. It’s always clean and tidy, the staff are always lovely and we always meet the most awesome people next to us! As always, we will be back!

Friendly staff very welcoming and great with tips on what to do and see, park is pet friendly if you have your own accommodation, amenities are clean pool is clean, camping sites are generous in size which means you are not made to feel like sardines. Members get 10% discount on bookings free Wi-Fi.

Stayed in a cabin on site had all great facilities need for our stay, great place for families, felt safe, friendly staff, not far from town centre.

We would like to give an update of the reviews of the caravan site. We just arrived today, but obviously excited, this is the best campsite we have visited on our tour from Brisbane to Cairns! The amentities are very new and very clean! Here you feel good! The women at the reception are very nice and helpful! They are happy to advise you when it comes to excursions! very nice, thank you for the hospitality — that's what a campsite should look like, especially since these are not cheap in Australia. We have paid 102 AUD for 3 nights (discount of Maui car already deducted)

Great van park, the site are a bit small have to park the car at the front. There is a tennis count, old putt putt golf, swimming pool plus kart hire. But the location is great and Don't need to spend much time at the van park any way. Heaps to see and do around Airlie Beach.

The park is a bit outside of Airlie beach and you need to take a taxi or bus to the town. Nevertheless, it is a big park with nice facilities, which were in renovation when we were there (May '18). The stuff was really helpful in selecting the right tours and were the best staff we had so far in Australia. One negative point, the wash machines & dryers were mostly broken but it looked like the renew soon the wash complex.

We booked a 2 night stay powered site. Had difficulty getting a dog sitter for us to enjoy a day out visiting Whit Sunday Islands. Dog Kennel were not flexible with drop off/pick up of our pup. (They must loose a lot of business) So Emma (Staff) rallied around and organised a great sitter for our pooch. We had a lovely day out thank you Emma and Karen. So efficient girls.

Most enjoyable location and very fortunate weather wise. More than adequate for requirements when reason for being here is bereavement.

In relation to the large parks nearby, this is quietly located. Offers better prices (discount) $35$ for 2A powered site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sanitary facilities very clean. Airlie Beach is within walking distance in a 20min walk or even by bus. Stop just off the road in a 2 minute walk.

Great place to stay and explore all the beautiful things the Whitsundays have to offer! The campground staff is very friendly and very helpful. The campgrounds are very well maintained and the amenities are clean. They feed native birds at 4p every day, which was fun! Would recommend staying here.

Great spot, right near waterfront for boating in the whitsundays. Perfect.

I’ve stayed here twice before and it was great. Nice service and setting. You pay exactly what you receive. The cabins are ideal for about 3 people. They aren’t entirely of the best quality but they are what you paid for. The camping grounds are nice. Get in early or the best spots will be taken. The food and items they sell are pricey. I suggest just go to the shops. The ammenities for the camping grounds are exceptional. The pool is great and the bathrooms are above average. But overall it isn’t the best place ever but it isn’t the worst.

The ultimate in the park caravan in Australia… never seen better.

Nice friendly staff. Just out of everything but only a few minutes to drive or there is a bus stop near. Nice, quiet and clean.

What a lovely place to camp. Very clean ablution blocks. Plenty of space between tents. All amenities available. You can book tours from reception. The staff were great.

This holiday park was a great experience for my family and i. We had a great time, good facilities like a tennis court, little carts to drive etc. Lovely place to stay I will be looking at booking again when I am up next.

Actually a great campsite if there weren't the many birds. They're so noisy that you can't sleep in peace until 6 o'clock tomorrow. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of brakes. The one campkitchen unfortunately did not go and we had to walk to the other. Location is OK.

The staff are really great. The sites are fine. We had a corner block with a slab & had plenty of room. Love the lorikeet feeding in the afternoons. Nice distance to walk into Airlie. We'd definitely come back again.

We stayed two nights. A pleasant place for a stopover, but there are also some permanent campers. A colourful mix of foreign tourists and local holidaymakers. The pool is very popular with visitors. There are some couches but you can also make yourself comfortable on the lawn. The location is ideal to get to the city of Rüberzufahren. There are brand new sanitary facilities, but also older ones. Shortcoming: Few BBQ places.

Stayed here while visiting a friend in airlie beach. I stayed in one of the bungalows, directly across from the bathrooms. Good comfy beds, cold aircon and the staff were really friendly. Also located in a great location close to everything. Affordable family accommodation. Recommended.

Nice and easy self check in and pick a spot for camping with a tent. Good male facilities.

Good enough camping.
The amenities are clean, in many, and well located.
The kitchens are good, and cleaned at least once a day.
There are catches in the kitchens of the camp without electricity; They charge very very slowly (the current must be limited).
The pool is SiMpA, and there is one even better in town, at the edge of the ocean.
A PC is available at the reception.
There are tickets for Wifi access at the reception, it is convenient but the flow is not great and one is limited to 500MB of data; What aside if you ulpoader photos or watch streaming is enough.
The value for money is pretty good.
The wrong note is punitive because they kept telling us that if we just left the Van on the parking lot without being present, the night was 10. — AUD (We said we would be absent for 2 nights) ; And after spending 2 nights outside they didn't want to pay us back the difference.
Overall a pretty good campsite, with a pleasant general ambience.

Staff were extremely helpful and facilities were kept clean. Kids enjoyed the onsite pool/playground. Pub across the road was great for a meal with a young family.

Didn't have a cabin available that would fit our family (we didn't have a booking), so they called the rest of the caravan parks for us until they found a place that could take us! That's awesome customer service. Thanks for finding us a place, even when you don't benefit from it. We'll certainly come back for a holiday.

Great campground! We stayed within the open (unpowered) area for 2 nights. I'll start with the pros: The amenities were spotless and there are plenty of them so you're not waiting to use them in the morning or at night. The pool area is a good size and in great shape. The front desk staff were great and very helpful. There is a tavern across the street and town isn't too far away. Quiet time on site is at 10pm, which is great if you're looking to just relax without too much noise. Somewhere between a pro & con: the camping area is big. HOWEVER — the sites are not numbered, so it can get a little cramped and privacy isn't always available. Cons: Laundry facility was ok (could probably upgrade their washers). You can notice some traffic noise at night as the road runs along the side of the campground. The Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE, but when you're in the Whitsundays, should we really complain about the Wi-Fi? Probably not.

Very clean and friendly place to stay. IGA very close and a great Pub across the road with great food. About 1 km walk to the centre of town. Will be staying there any time we visit Airlie.

Staff are so friendly and accommodating… it creates a very nice environment for all fellow travellers.

Good amenities, friendly staff. Busy place but caters for everyone. Bit tight for soace. Park is walking distance to beach and main shops.

Very Good position with a magnicent beach. Bins need cleary more frequently. Strongly recommended stay.

Please note: There was nothing wrong with the staff OR the facilities at this caravan park, 5 star! Unfortunately our stay was marred by a large school group of French teenagers who had taken over the caravan park including both camp kitchens and shower block. They lacked any consideration for other guests, playing music, girls running in and out of the male shower block, standing on the kitchen tables, hanging out in the toilet block charging their phones. Add to that were …other guests who must have been coming back from the pub talking loudly at 1am. Now I'm no wowser, I'm all for having a good time but go camp out at a nightclub! Disappointing.

Very nice park with a calm and relaxing vibe. Stayed only for one night because we heard a lot about the seabreeze park and decided to move. That was a mistake.

Stayed 2 nights on a powered site. Amazing quiet place, with lots of birds and bird sounds around you. Great facilities, swimming pool, BBQ. Clean showers and toilets. Staff was incredibly helpful and found us a good deal for a tour to the Whitsundays and some snorkeling. Can definitely recommend!

Fantastic park, probably the nicest ive stayed in. Very lush and tropical setting. Park staff very friendly, on the day we arrived gardeners were trimming trees of palm pods, they used a blower tool and broom to clean the fruit waste (from the trees) off our slab so it was nice and clean. Nice pool and at 4pm each day they have tropical bird feeding, hundred of lorikeets all over you for photos (just like currumbin — but FREE) seem to cater well for backpackers, camp kitchen was very clean and huge. Stayed here 4 days could have spent another week or so. Very highly recommend as place to park your van or family holiday. Very modern and clean ammenities. Huge booking office and travel info in office, staff outstanding — and as a bonus one of the very few parks in the whitsundays that would accept our little dog.

Highly recommend camping area!

We stayed in the "Campotel". The amenities were nice but the setup for the Campotel is terrible. They are situated right next to the main road with no noise-reducing fencing. It was busy all night and the trucks are deafening in the teepee style rooms. The teepees are so close together that we could hear the whispers of other guests nextdoor (in between the noise of traffic). The zipping and unzipping of the teepees woke us up fairly regularly as well. The mattress was painfully thin and there was a bad creak in the bed frame that cracked every time one of us rolled over — no doubt waking the neighbours too. I wish we had just brought our own tent. At least we could've been able to escape the noise and have a more comfortable mattress.

Best campsite in Australia, camped from the daintree to melbourne and this place was the bomb. Clean, stylish, friendly. Good plots, good facilities and the lorikeet feeding daily was a bonus.

Great campsite close to the action. We stayed 3 nights in total over two visits on a powered sites. One site was way too far from the power outlet but there was space on another site so we moved. The amenities block 2 is great, clean and spacious with relaxing music being played. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the area whilst staying in a comfortable, friendly site.

This park is clean, very well equipped, perfectly located and the staff is more than friendly and helpful. Could not be better, perfect stay.

Very helpful staff when booking and very clean toilets. Only downside is was a little expensive and they didnt mention that you have to pay for bbqs. Also there is no powerpoints in the camp kitchen and a rude sign saying "if you want to charge your phone you will have to pay for a powered site". I think its the owners not the campers who are tight. I camped all the way from sydney to cairns and this was the only time I was dissapointed.

Best place I have ever stayed at, I would recommend this place to every one to stay at when you come to airlie beach, reasonable/cheap prices for accommadation "never been ripped off " happy and friendly staff always smiling and welcoming you to there holiday park "just wnt to say thank you barry and his beautifull wife for everything. Great, amazing cleanliness of facilities and great site for low budget travelers. Swimming pool, tennis, mini-golf, permanent tent available if you don't have a barbecue, etc. I highly recommend.

Great little place, very honest helpful staff who won't try and con you into buying expensive trips. Toilet and showers best I've seen on a camp site! However for $34 for an unpowered site I'd expect free bbqs.
