One of the best experiences I have had in a motel accommodation in Townsville. The staff and Management were a delight. The room was beautiful and the amenities were great. Definitely will be staying there again. A definite must try. Close to everything. 5 stars.

Owner was too involved in our room activities. Location was nice but for the price the service was ok.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had through out many years of travel and having stayed in many places in many countries. They advertise 24hr check in yet we book at 7.30pm — arrive at 8.15pm and they won't check us in (office closes 8pm) someone on the phone says sorry not taking any more bookings yet our booking had been confirmed and money taken! It was myself and my 5yo, had just been dropped off after a 6hr drive, ubered to the accommodation after getting dinner as we had no car — for them to tell us that! No kiss my arse, no sorry, just yup see ya later, deal with it. Myself and 5yo stranded in a strange city, no car, and late at night, at a 24hr check in motel. Fuming! Do not deal with these people, they have no idea what customer service means and false advertise. I'd hate for this to happen to someone else.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Accomodation was clean and comfortable. The Motel itself is old, but the rooms have been refreshed so they are modern and functional. I stayed in a room with queen & single bed and there was plenty of room. I'm sure I will be back.

Good room, free Wi-Fi, friendly and very helpful staff. It's a good location outside of the city centre with short drives to many shops. Great for families and couples although if you're travelling with friends be aware the bathroom sink is an open area which is common in far north Queensland.

The staff made my stay wonderful and the rooms are clean and all the essentials were provided I recommend the Q express to all those who want to feel Comfortable relaxed and enjoy their stay.

The girls are very friendly and had an awesome time.

Older rooms were clean and functional. It is walkable to several restaurants though they are not close. Good road access. Believe they are currently upgrading the rooms.

For a family room at @ $77 a night I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and how spacious it felt. Must say though that they need to let the room air as there was a strong smell of bleach. Otherwise very pleasantly surprised. EDITED: Lost a star for the dinner meals we had last night — tasted awful the steak and carbonara tasted off — waste of $50
