Peddlars Rest

This is an amazing boutique hotel! I've never slept so well in my life. The Queen bed was so comfortable and warm. Deluxe little stay. Loved the shower too!

Room was totally inadequate, tiny and no door to the toilet. Good bike storage and large communal kitchen but no instructions as to what we could use if anything from the fridge. It claims to be luxury — well it wasn't.

Recently renovated rooms with ensuites. The walls are a bit thin so conversations from other rooms drifted through a little bit. A very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

My husband and I really appreciated the room and initial service. We stayed overnight and found it well-renovated and stocked.
But the walls are thin (we could hear muffled conversation nearby) and the continental brekky didn't include many options (only toast with spreads, tea and coffee, milk provided).
Worth it overall!

We booked Peddlers Rest overnight so we could attend a wedding. Beautifully clean, excellent location, quiet. Everything we needed was supplied and to our surprise there was a communal kitchen which was wonderful when I needed extra milk in the middle of the night!
This is one of the nicest and well maintained country rooms we have stayed in. Recently renovated and modern too.

Everything you need for a stopover when riding the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail or hanging out in Toogoolawah. Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with a great shower, secure bike storage, very clean and convenient.

Great renovation with modern fixtures and fittings, comfy bed and clean sheets. Loved having a lush ensuite. Room Has Wi-Fi. Good bike storage. Room was clean but fittings dusty and some mould on roof and behind the cupboard. A smarttv but the Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect to the TV and TV wouldn’t hotspot for my phone so couldn’t access the apps or TV on demand. IGA and bottlo a few doors up are well stocked. Great beer garden at the Toogoolawah pub with big screen for the footy.

Great little accommodation spot. Beds are comfy at end of day from riding the Rail Trail. Free Wifi. Room had kettle, microwave and coffee pod machine. Shared kitchen with breakfast cereal and toast. Sits beside the Thirsty Camel (check in at bar). Peddlers Rest has lockable store room for bikes. Short walk to pubs for meals and free street parking.

Great place to rest the bike weary. Lap of luxury. Only stayed in night as we had to get back on the track, but I reckon I could live there.

I had heard so much praise about this place from fellow trail riders and always wanted to stay here. So I decided to make a weekend of it with a two night stay. The check-in process was very easy and quick with the friendly manager. You can choose to park at the front or back doors. The room was small without being claustrophobic and had all the modern conveniences. The decor was modern, bright and definitely had that boutique feel. The bathroom was open, sparkling clean and had a delightful rain showerhead. The complimentary bathroom supplies were a nice touch. The room also had a coffee maker which would be very welcomed by the coffee drinkers. The secure bike storage room was appreciated. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with complimentary breakfast supplies. All in all, a wonderful and comfortable stay. I look forward to returning. Well recommended.

Very poor service the Manager is sour and mean. Everything else is Great. Prices are fair. The rest of the staff are great. Hopefully the owner corrects this situation soon. I will never go back. Nicely renovated property.

Family Room 1. Two adults / two teenagers. Right from check in we felt welcome, comfortable and at home. As you let yourself into the boutique accomodation you’re greeted by a friendly entrance hall and walk through a shared kitchen. The rooms were cosy and had great air conditioning, the little things matter with a pod machine, biscuits and a nice range of tea bags. The bathroom was large with a separated toilet. A continental breakfast is included in the shared kitchen. The location is right in the beautiful little main street.
Accessibility: entrance via the front has two steps, then 3-4 up to the rooms. The back entrance may not have stairs but would still need to use stairs to access the kitchen. Small step up into large screen less shower — no rails.

I have stayed in many hotels and motels — this place for some reason has NO DOOR on the bathroom / toilet?!? in your room — call me old fashioned but for me its kinda important when paying $165 / night to have what all other places I’ve stayed have and that’s a door on the toilet!
I asked the Reception girl and she had no real answer and offered me the toilet in the pub to use? cause it has a door.
I wouldn’t stay again due to no toilet door.

Clean rooms with excellent customer experience. The shower is massive and the bike storage area was a great bonus. Breakfast was sufficient and in a cosy environment. They might want to include some lactose/gluten free options for us city folk. We loved it.

Have stayed in plenty of accommodation along the Rail Trail, so glad we have found Peddlars Rest. Lorraine was really friendly and helpful, allowing us to check-in early after a morning ride. Great to have a bike storage facility and the attention to detail in the room was exceptional. Will be back soon.

Booked here as a stopover doing the BVRT. Great little place to stay. Secure storage for bikes, a kitchen to use with complimentary basic breakfast (cereal, bread and milk — no gluten free options). Had coffee too! Very clean and tidy and a cool little set up. Room was basic but nice and just enough for what you need. Very modern but maybe too modern as there was no bathroom door. Wouldn't recommend taking your first date here for a night unless you want to break the ice real quick with doing your business in front of eachother (you might be into that though). Fridge had milk and an ice tray. Would have been nice if it was full. Complimentary bottle of wine, pod coffee machine in room as well as tea. The shower soap, shampoo and lotion was really nice. There was a TV as well where you can sign into your Netflix. A solid 4, would give it a 5 if there was a bathroom door. Definitely would come back and highly recommend if doing a short stop over or the BVRT.
