The Strand Hotels with a Parking

We really loved our room. Spacious. Well lit bathroom in the daytime. Clean. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff.

All we needed for a 1 night stay that became 2 then 3 with the lovely lady in reception making it possible. Location speaks for itself.

I love staying at the Madison because it feels like my home away from home.

We always stay at the Madison Ocean breeze when we come up to visit relatives. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are always clean. Location is amazing.

Rooms was really clean. Nice Outlook over The Strand and beyond. Parking is a nightmare. Hotel carpark is first in etc, not enough parks for the hotel. On-street parking is limited too.

This hotel is in a great location, right on The Strand, directly opposite the water with views to Magnetic Island. Its location is a close walking distance to restaurants and cafes.

Great location, lovely cafe, friendly staff, always an enjoyable stay, rooms not overly large. But comfortable. A very pleasent place to stay.

Stayed at Waters Edge The Strand and had a great time. The location is perfect, right on The Strand which is pretty much where everything happens in Townsville. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Great location right on the Strand, walking distance to plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants and just across the road from the beach.

This is my favourite place to stay in Townsville. Have done so maybe three or four times now.

Been in many motels and hotels and can say definitely the cleanest one I’ve been in so far. Spotless accommodation, well kept, friendly helpful staff! Well worth the visit and the price.

I’m a backpacker on working holiday. I’m staying here almost a year. Definitely recommend whoever comes with friends can share this place together.

Having stayed here a few times before we made our booking Direct With the Manager (George) 2.5 mths prior, as its busy in peak times.
We Book Direct = No screw ups = No disappointments.

For what I paid to stay overnight, I cannot fault this place. Right on the esplanade (the Strand) in Townsville. My room was very nice and spacious, with queen-size bed and ensuite.

Clean and simple room with all the basics. Not impressed with the service though. I left something in my room that was never returned despite calls to the office. Amazing location though.

Very good emplacement close to the beach.
I had a room of 4 people, the good point is that the bedrooms have places to leave your stuff.
New sheets each week for long term.

I really liked this hotel, very close to Coles and The Strand for a quick run. It has air conditioning in every room, the kitchen is not super big but essential with everything you need!
