Oceans Mooloolaba

We absolutely loved our stay at Oceans Moolooaba. We stayed on level 6 in a 2-bedroom suite with ocean view. The room was stunning, and the view from the room was absolutely amazing! A beautifully appointed suite with plenty of room and great complimentary gifts. The spa was incredible and the attention-to-detail was impressive. The variety in the lighting choices created a wonderful ambience and a great atmosphere. The pool was amazing and we loved the location. Close to shops, great restaurants and the beach. Great service and the beds were super comfy. Also loved the extra security gate leading to the front door. A minor technical issue with the TV, but highly recommend this place.

Oceans Mooloolaba provided a great holiday at the beach experience. We took our 6 yr old grand son with us. The unit had a wonderful ocean view, handy to the beach and all types of eating experiences. Wonderful pool and spa. Just a lovely family holiday. Staff are exceptional. Rooms are spacious well thought out. Serviced daily if you require.

Very clean and spacious, we had the ground floor with our own spa which was right next to the sitting area to the public pool, also people from the pool area could see straight into our apartment so we had to have the curtains closed 90% of the time, great location and very nice staff.

This review relates to apartment 203 at Oceans. When we arrived, floor was dirty, I had to clean my toilet and the dining room table runner was caked with food and crumbs. All the air vents in the main living space and 3 bedrooms were filthy and never been cleaned by the look. No hairdryer. We had two towels each for the 7 nights and had to use one as a pool towel. Only toiletries provided were one inch square of soap each. The washing machine was broken and had to be replaced, the induction cooktop had to be fixed but then only worked on the hottest setting which meant we triggered the smoke alarms the first and only time we used it. The BBQ was absolutely filthy and we could only get one jet to work anyway. So for the first 3 days we had repairmen in and out. No apology. No compensation. It ruined our holiday. To make matters worse, we noticed the apartment being advertised for about $400 less than we paid for it. The location is good — I imagine the other apartments at Oceans are better than apartment 203 and they were serviced daily too. We weren't. Be warned.

Oceans Mooloolaba would have to be the best apartment that i've had the pleasure to stay with. The apartment was very clean and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed that they'd even stocked the ice in the freezer for us. The staff were all lovely, professional and very helpful. We had the 3 bedroom penthouse and that was amazing to have our own private pool and out door lounges and dining. Thank you so much for the lovely holiday at Oceans Apartments.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oceans! 10/10 location to the beach, Main Street and local supermarket. Each room has a balcony that overlooks the ocean — it’s so beautiful to wake up to! The room was clean and fully equipped with modern facilities. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, nothing was too hard — they made the effort to have our room ready a bit earlier and gave us a late checkout to align with our flights. The pool area was so great for our toddler — with a smaller shallow pool for him to play in, alongside the main pool and spa. The pool has full sun for the whole day — which is another bonus! We will definitely be back.

What a lovely, lovely place this is. We stayed four nights and it just got better and better. You appreciate the apartment, the amenities, the location and outlook more and more. The quality of the furnishings and fit out is first class and very comfortable. There are many nice thoughtful touches put into it. The wireless controller for the TV and sound system was great, as were the selected DVDs and games in the room. There’s really nothing to critique; not only is it lovely, it’s very relaxing and becomes very liveable right away, The view to the beach and water is great as is the pool. And the location on the esplanade is convenient but not noisy at all. It’s not a cheap place to stay but you get what you pay for and they do seem to offer deals and packages often. We will definitely return.

My experience here was horrendous. The staff were not helpful at all during my time here, as they didn't clean the room when we were there. There was also poo in the toiler bowl when we first walked into our room, and when we called for service to help clean it, it took them 4 hours to come up and clean the toilet and also the room was in a mess as if someone had a high school party in.

This is the second time I have stayed at Oceans and the second time I could not fault the service, location or the quality of the apartment. The staff are amazing from the reception to the servicing of the rooms. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The location was amazing with the easy access to many cafes, bars and shops.

We just got back from a 7 night stay as a family of 4 with young kids (6 and 2 years old).
I was REALLY impressed with this place and it takes a lot to impress me 😂
The communication was amazing, instructions to get into the hotel after hours etc, the car park etc. The location is amazing, it is self contained but still serviced every single day which is rare in a place like this, so I LOVED that part. They provide laundry detergent every day for you and dishwashing liquid so I didn’t have to go purchase any like I normally do in these places! The only thing we had to buy and leave behind for our stay was a bit of oil for cooking and some butter.
The location is superb, Coles and convenience stores in the heart of the esplanade, ice creams and dinners out everyday, the beach, it honestly was fab. We were all very sad to leave.
Also Julie Ann on reception and another lady, I forget her name, (she’s recently moved to QLD from Melbourne a few years ago) — they were so friendly, informative and helpful. For once I didn’t feel like I was a burden to hotel staff — it’s almost like they wanted to talk to me and genuinely help me around the place!
Heated pool in the middle of winter was awesome too so my girls got to swim and have fun.
We will be back again!

Lovely apartment. Very well appointed. The staff at the apartments were very friendly and helpful. The place is well positioned across the road from the beach and there are loads of restaurants within easy walking distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coles is just around the corner for supplies. The apartment is serviced daily and has a gym and pool that my son used. A great break away!

I can honestly say that the 3days we were there was absolutely amazing. From the 12 red roses that was organised by my partner that oceans staff organised and put them in our suite I can’t thank them enough it was a beautiful surprise and might I add that when we checked in no one let on. The suite that we stayed was beyond amazing so clean the beds are Devine. Julianne at reception is absolutely an asset for Oceans so friendly and nothing is too much trouble even organised us a late check out. I will give a score of 10/10 just love going there.

Lovely stay! The place is modern, comfortable, and luxurious — we were a little unsure as it is rather expensive for 3 nights but wanted to have a great first impression of Mooloolaba. We stayed in a 2-bedroom which had two bathrooms and decent space (it is a very narrow apartment) View was amazing and had a nice deck to relax on. Very close to beach and all the shops which made it easy to do something everyday. They serviced the apartment once a day so you always had fresh towels and refill of anything you need which is very uncommon for hotels these days so really enjoyed that feature. Kitchen had everything you need. The pool was really nice but could do with some tiles being replaced — at the time the sauna was out of order and the gym was really musty so you don’t get value for money over additional utilities. Secure parking and out the back you can do a short walk to Cole’s. Reception was really nice and helped us when we couldn’t connect to the tv.

Great location right on the Esplanade with dedicated secure parking. Beautifully appointed apartment, tastefully furnished in neutral tones — they have thought of nearly everything you could need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Comfy lounge and bedroom, lovely bathroom with rain shower, dressing room with complimentary safe and fully equipped kitchen including washer and dryer. Surprisingly no facilities to recycle bottles or cans. Pool quite small with very few loungers for the size of the building but beach is just across the street. Would recommend.

5 night short stay, early December.
Excellent location, walk everywhere; beach/restaurants/retail & over to Wharf area which was fun for jetski hire/river cruises etc. Supermarket just behind apartments to walk down to was also very handy.
Very open, spacious & immaculate apartment; all three bedrooms had their own bathrooms which was fabulous with teenagers. View was fantastic, as were facilities and the he apartment was serviced beautifully every day.
Shout out to the super friendly and helpful team at reception; from check in/out, taxi assistance, recommendations and even finding us a beach umbrella to borrow & take to the beach, nothing was too much trouble and the team were great to chat with. Would not hesitate to return.
*Only reason haven't given five stars is that the dividing wall in the main bedroom between bedroom and ensuite drove us a bit mad as it was a half wall/window style. Odd design here; maybe a roller or sliding screen could be an option here to stop the ensuite lights disrupting sleeping parties?

We stayed 2 nights in a 3 bedroom suite which was very clean and spacious, staff were very friendly and accomodating. Excellent location as we love the Mooloolaba Esplanade with all of it diverse eating and entertainment, Mooloolaba beach is just a gem and 150 meters from oceans we had the 1st level with our own personal spa which the kids loved.
