Breeze Mooloolaba, Ascend Hotel Collection

Nice place but I found it noisy. Also I found what looked like dried blood stains on my sheets (after spending the first night unfortunately). They fixed it but not pleasant…

Spacious and clean with all the amenities you need. We cooked in the kitchen and had everything we needed. The location is perfect to have a walk down to the beach and a beer at the surf club. Wonderful place to stay. We will return.

TL;DR — a spacious, clean, and well-equipped apartment that feels more like a home than a hotel. Would be 5 stars if the Wi-Fi wasn't stuck in 2010.
The apartment is very spacious, modern, and functional, with plenty of storage — it genuinely feels like staying in someone's well-kept home rather than an apartment hotel. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night, so the basics are firmly in order.
The shower has three modes, which is a nice touch — in theory. The downside of this arrangement is that Mode 1 is what I'd call "Aggressive mist"; Mode 2 is "a sorry dribble", and Mode 3 is "painful jet". The theory is great, in practice the aggressive mist was the only sort of usable setting. It was just tall enough.
The location is excellent; the beach is right across the road and visible from many of the rooms.
There is a small pool and a hot tub, but both are quite small — definitely not for lap swimming, and I ended up not using them.
The Wi-Fi is quite literally the weakest link. The official speed limits are 8Mbps down / 4Mbps up, which in 2026 is frankly laughable. In practice I got a ridiculously asymmetric 7/160Mbps — the uplink was clearly glitched well beyond the stated cap, while the downlink was barely functional. You're genuinely better off on a mobile hotspot, which is not something you want to be saying about any accommodation.
All in all a great place to stay — comfortable, spacious, and in a fantastic location.

As someone in the same industry, I would sincerely recommend avoiding this property at all costs! Pathetic level of customer service, won't reply to simple questions & when things get too hard instead of dealing with the issues they just close of. You can really see their poor level of experience in property management. There are better options on the coast that value their guests & business.

The rooms were poorly clean, air conditioner was disgusting, water filter had not been replaced, dishes weren’t cleaned properly and we weren’t supplied with any dish tablets or laundry liquid. We travelled with two little ones and their feet were black from crawling around on the floor for 20mins once we arrived.

The apartment was beautiful and suited our needs.
The carpark is extremely tight though.

Our stay at Breeze Mooloolaba was a perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. The apartment featured a full kitchen, coffee machine, and a balcony with stunning ocean views.
Right on the beach and esplanade, there was easy access to cafés and restaurants. The pool, spa, and BBQ facilities added to the social and easy atmosphere.
With amenities like luxury bathrobes and Wi-Fi, Breeze Mooloolaba offered a stylish and convenient seaside retreat.

So many accomodation options on the Sunshine Coast…. But look no further and choose to stay in Mooloolaba at the Breeze apartments!
Located on the beach front with incredible and expansive sea views…. Absolutely 5 star!
We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints with great decor…comfortable living…. High standard of quality amenities and excellent customer care.
The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need and for long stays a in room laundry is available.
We choose to stay in a deluxe ocean view with front facing bedroom…. Just amazing!
Outside a great swimming beach…. A comprehensive shopping and restaurant precinct and Coles supermarket close at hand.
The most difficult part of our stay is having to leave…… but we will return.
Our room was serviced daily…. Which is a great extra…. All requests always addressed.

Was so disappointing to arrive and find this is what we'd spent $500 a night on. The place is rundown and gross yet uses the word "luxury" all over its website.
I spent time on our second day cleaning up the place — mainly wiping kitchen and bathrooom walls and sticky cupboards — so I could be comfortable with my family staying there. I'd like management to take a look at my photos and see whether they meets its standards.
Keeping the microwave on top of the washing machine is just yuck. I don't want to cook food where people have put their dirty washing.
The washing machine seals are mouldy — maybe teach the cleaners not to close the machine as it was when we arrived. The dryer worked sometimes.
Coming up in the lift with a cleaner, I asked why the clean sheets she was carrying were already stained — she said that's just from the cupboard they keep them in!
On the bright side, it looks like pets and smoking cigarettes are both acceptable here — there was both on the balconies below us for most of our stay.

2 bed side apartment was excellent, 604, modern, very clean and well pointed. Bed was really comfy, best nights sleep for a while. Reception staff, Kim, was friendly, professional helpful and efficient. Close to the beach and walking distance to Alexandra Headland as well as to shops and restaurants at Mooloolaba esplanade. Would recommend to anyone for a great stay……..so much so….we have booked again for April.

Excellent location, friendly staff who go that extra mile to make your stay special. We were grateful for the earlier check in time and the rooms were immaculately clean. Beautiful views of the waves from our balconies as well. We would gladly return

Wow, what a find. Our stay was fantastic. The accommodation was 1st class, very spacious and clean. Very comfortable and quiet and in a very good location at the top end of the esplanade. The reception were not particularly helpful but this may have been because this was an apart-hotel and didn't really need to interact with us very much. The warning notices in the apartment regarding possible additional charges were slightly off putting.

Breeze Mooloolaba, is situated in the best location, right on the esplanade, and in the heart of Mooloolaba!
Our 2 bedroom apartment was absolutely exquisite! It was modern, comfortable and perfectly clean and had AMAZING ocean views!
You have access to great bars, restaurants and shops, and the marina, where you can book fantastic cruises!
Big shout out to Jan and Kim who went above and beyond to help us surprise our daughter for her birthday, they truly exceeded our expectations!

Great apartments, we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit, with a sea view from the deck which gave us amazing views of the sunrise.
The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for a 6 night stay, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board and easy car parking, comfortable bed & pillows.
Guess the big let down was the pool area, didn't look exactly like the pictures on the website, and certainly wasn't conducive to relaxing and reading around with small children jumping in all the time, thank goodness for the beach is close by.

The apartment was nice and in a good location, after hours service was lovely, such a shame their daytime employees don't understand that. Ruined the experience for us completely.
Told us the car parks aren't included in our package deal, cancelled my key card because she couldn't get hold of me.
The first time we go away together in 15 years and this is our experience, should've stayed home and saved the money, not worth it!

The rooms are beautiful, very modern and tidy. Only complaint is the shower temperature went from hot to cold every 30 seconds. Apart from that great stay will book again.
