The main room was dinghy, air conditioning was a dinosaur, mattresses were soft and bunk beds were old with missing chips of paint.

From booking online, checking in/ check out was all positive and fuss free.

We pulled in off the Hwy close to closing time and were lucky to get the last room. Room was clean and plenty of room for our portacot. We checked out of the room at 10am and were able to hang around the bbq/pool area whilst the kids swam. They even provided us with pool towels so we didn’t need to travel with wet ones.
At $85 for the night, Fitzroy motor inn is the way to go!

Probably the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Room was dirty the walls look like they have never been cleaned. The shower stays hot for like 2 minutes so me and my 3 kids had to have cold showers in winter. Waste of my money wish I stayed somewhere else.

We had 3 night stay here last month and it was a great experience. Owner was very kind and gone over and above to help us with our young kids with our additional requirements. Rooms were cozy and at very reasonable prices. Parking is undercover and they have great compound too so it is very secure. This place is very close to city center and close to various shop & food outlets. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Clean and tidy, but very disappointing that there is no heater in the room and only 1 thin little blanket on the bed. Almost froze to death last night. Also, no biscuits in the room for morning coffee.

An excellent budget priced motel. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and included a microwave. Also, the management was very accommodating with a slight extension of our checkout time due to car problems. The location was also conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it.

We have stayed at quite a few motels in Rockhampton because we enjoying trying different places each time. This one is the best so far, probably the only one that stood out enough for us to want to stay again! Would love to try another room next time. The motel manager was very friendly and hospitable, he looked after my special requests which I never expected on motel standards. The motel is so close to cbd and all the restaurants. Room was large super clean and bed very comfy. Genuinely a fantastic place to stay.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to some great eateries and the river walk which is delightful.

Friendly service. A little run down and shower was dirty. Got what I expected for the price. Very close to many places to eat.

Stayed in the queen spa room. Was amazing. Loved loved loved it couldnt fault a thing. Aircon was nice and cold and quiet, room had view over the pool and out onto the street with two sets of curtains extra thick ones that blocked light and noise or lace ones for during the day. The room itself was warm and welcoming. having come from a 1 acre property to sleep in town the traffic wasnt an issue at all. Love this place wanted to stay forever.

The old couple running the place were lovely and the facilities were great! Air Conditioner kept me cool during the night and bathroom was new. Fast Wi-Fi a bonus!

Place is close to fast food restaurants (McDonald, KFC, Hungry Jack, Pizza Hut) and a shopping center. Convenient. Room is alright, nothing fancy. Don't expect much since it's a motel after all. Basic necessities are here (microwave, fridge, TV, Wi-Fi)

Stayed in room 20, looks over the pool and Fitzroy Rd. Road is noisy, air con old/noisy, dated interior and layout. Ok for the price though I would suggest requesting a room off the main road.

Nothing special but good for a family on a budget. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds were a bit dated and not the most comfortable, but adequate for a one night stopover. Reasonably priced.

Nothing to write home about, pretty much a motel in Rockhampton. There was a fair bit of traffic sound from trucks using compression braking. Room was clean and the bathroom had recently been upgraded, although the rest of the room was showing it's age.

What a bunch of crooks cancelled our accommodation through expedia due to death in family Fitzroy Motor Inn charged my credit card without my permission and have refused to pay it back.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Very smelly room (12), really strong. However, if you don't mind, you can enjoy the foxtel, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster, pool. Good location.

Good value for money. Clean but a bit old.

We stayed here on 10th September 2014. The room wasn't too bad but the shower was pathetic, the water was only a trickle. The manager wasn't overly interested the following morning, saying she would get somebody to look at it. I made the comment that a clean bed and a hot shower were expected when you pay for a motel room and she said 'you got clean bed. ' When asked about a partial refund, she said 'you want better room you pay more money". I would not recommend this motel to anybody.

Very comfortable and clean. Quiet. Easy access, comfortable bed.
