Went in for dinner tonight food was absolutely beautiful service was fantastic it has new management since I was there last so friendly and welcoming will be back.

Lovely place to stay and the food here is amazing! I will be back for the slow cooked beef cheeks as they were so good. They even add a little pizazz to fried eggs on toast. Tim and the team really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! Thanks guys and see you again soon!

Rooms, bed and pillows, sooo comfortable. Food in Cloud 9 restaurant exceptional. Very large portions of everything. Husband said it was the best steak he has eaten, and he is very hard to please. 5 out of 5. Hosts are fantastic, very nice and friendly.

Nice little bar for a pre diner drink. We had a mixed entree of salt pepper squid and crumb stuffed mushrooms those mushroom to die for. I had the mushroom risotto and the hubby had the seafood risotto with plenty of seafood. If you stopping in or lost for ideas for diner give these guys a go. Wonderful service.

We really enjoyed our meals at Cloud9 Restaurant on Saturday 27/07/19. Salt and pepper squid entree was cooked well and a good sized serving. The stuffed mushrooms were possibly a little over cooked but still delicious and a good sized serving. The seafood risotto was delicious with plenty of prawns, scallops and squid included. The top dish of the night was the Diamontina eye fillet. Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Gravy was a bit on the salty side but the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Prices were a little more than expected.

Just what I wanted after driving all day. Friendly and fast 5 Star service, food and accommodation. Also they had my favorite beer very cold.

Excellent rooms and food. Only issue was the exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite dirty and was dropping dust all over the bathroom. Other than that I was very happy with the room and will definitely stay again.

3 star only and backs onto a graveyard. Didnt feel safe.

In one word… pathetic! I've stayed in better 3 star "Secure Parking Hotel's! " $110 for the night. Ummm WHAT Foxtel? $42 for 300g eye fillet Parmi $24, Caesar Salad $16, egg and bacon breakfast $18 smh the list goes on… I'm worried they'll charge me for a cup of tea.

The Rockhampton Resort is always super clean. The rooms are impressive, all have ensuites, some of them have jacuzzi tubs. Their restaurant serves the best steak I have ever had in Australia. Whenever I'm traveling through Rockhampton I always make a point to stay at the Rockhampton Resort. Visiting Don, the owner, is like meeting an old friend. Even on hectic nights when the restaurant is full, Don makes a point to socialize with his guests, and makes sure their expectations are exceeded. Business brings me to Rockhampton several times a month. I have stayed in almost every hotel/motel in the city. Rocky Resort is the one I choose to stay at. Thank you Don.

If your a smoker dont stay here. Rooms were average size. No bath. Dont understand why a 4 star as I classed it a good 3 star. Average nite stay $190 for a room. Good comfortable beds. Clean room. Natural products soap and body gel great change :). Didnt eat in the resturant but won steak of the year.
