Rubyvale Motel & Holiday Units

We stayed in the self contained cabin and what a pleasure it was. A quiet, relaxing location, handy to everything you need. The cabin was very clean and well set out. We were able to do our laundry and had our own clothesline in the carport. The kitchen was clean and well equipped (though we only used the toaster, jug and sandwich press — we were on holidays you know :-D. The shower was awesome, as that is also very important after a hard day fossicking. Highly recommend staying here. The hosts are lovely people and you can see how much effort has been put into providing a comfortable home away from home for travellers. We have already booked our next stay and will hopefully get to use the pool!

We've been staying with the Taylors for many years now and every year we've extended the stay because the service and accommodation is always fantastic.
Couldn't recommend these folks anymore highly!
Wayne & Dee.

We spent two nights here and loved the spacious unit and beautiful peaceful location. The accommodation was spotless and very welcoming. The friendly wallabies were so cute and the stars at night amazing.

We had two nights over the weekend which included Mother’s Day. What a beautiful place. It was very quiet and had lots of birds and kangaroos visiting. Everything was perfect. The room was a good size and was beautifully furnished. It had everything we needed. There was a table and chairs outside where we could enjoy a quiet drink and enjoy the wildlife and pleasant scenery. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem with the hair dryer which was very quickly replaced. The price was extremely reasonable. It was conveniently located not far from the New Royal Hotel. We will definitely be staying there again next time we visit.

Absolutely loved our stay! Peaceful & quiet, very lovingly kept accommodation & grounds along with all the gorgeous little Wallaby neighbours 😊

This was our second time staying here and it was still the same as last time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and neat and we enjoyed having a swim in their pool was so refreshing. Would recommend them to everyone who are interested in going to Rubyvale. ❤️👍

Clean, reasonable price, comfy beds and well fit out. For one large room, the different zones separating the beds and spa works well. Great spa, pool and outdoor area. Thanks for a terrific stay.

Beautifully clean, beautifully presented rooms. Very quite. Lovely host. Only stayed one night. Only negative for us being on bikes is the loose white stones on the driveways are a nightmare for bikes. Will be definitely staying here again.

This accommodation is always my pick. Clean, quiet and a lovely setting. The host Jane along with the bird life are so friendly and I enjoy my stay there every time I visit.

Beautiful and peaceful. The welcoming committee didn't take long to fly in when we sat out the front for a quite afternoon drink.
Woke up to some friendly wildlife in the morning wanting to share breakfast. A.
Mick and Jane Very friendly.

We recently stayed at the Rubyvale Motel and couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable — probably one of the best motels we’ve had the pleasure of visiting.
Also worth visiting the jewellery store at reception. Jane was so generous with her time and had a wealth of knowledge about sapphires.

We stayed here on our fossicking trip and it was an absolute delight! The rooms were clean, generous and comfortable and such a great place to unwind after a day of digging! The hosts were so friendly and were always so happy to advise you on where to go and talk about their fabulous town! My favourite part was waking up to the wallaby and Joey outside our door each morning. The bird life was such a joy it really was a little paradise away from home! Could not recommend this enough! Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

What a great place to stay … Quiet, very clean and the beds were the best I have slept in. The hosts were amazing. We did the night Galaxy viewing, and it was very informative. You have wildlife roaming around the grounds, so very relaxing. Do not miss the opportunity to view the stars. All this at the most reasonable price. We have booked again already.

An unexpected and exceptional 2 night stay, wish it had been longer. Just a few hundred metres beyond Rubyvale's main town centre but the location was excellent. A quiet bush outlook with an outside patio where we were greeted by a beautiful little wallaby wanting to be hand fed. The 2 bedroom unit was comfortable, immaculate and well equipped for self catering. Just a very short drive to the atmospheric New Royal Hotel where we had an excellent meal both evenings. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back for a return visit.

I have stayed here once before however this was a quick overnighter. The place is amazing and just a stone throw from the centre of town. I stayed in the spa suite and absolutely loved it!
I went and used the bbq facilities and was accompanied by the butcher birds for dinner. The place is beautiful and very well maintained.
I would definitely stay here again!

Welcoming and clean unit with everything we needed. Homely country style with travellers considered — washing machine in unit, kitchen, full fridge, and TV. The bed was comfortable and the location very relaxing. BBQ facilities, swimming pool and gardens were all well-maintained and enjoyable. Bonus was the local wildlife and stargazing. There is even a telescope with an expert guide available for booking!

Clean and welcoming units. Everything we needed in a relaxing space. Bit of a time capsule, but well maintained. Relaxing bushland location and great for stargazing.
