Clean, reasonable price, comfy beds and well fit out. For one large room, the different zones separating the beds and spa works well. Great spa, pool and outdoor area. Thanks for a terrific stay.

Beautifully clean, beautifully presented rooms. Very quite. Lovely host. Only stayed one night. Only negative for us being on bikes is the loose white stones on the driveways are a nightmare for bikes. Will be definitely staying here again.

This accommodation is always my pick. Clean, quiet and a lovely setting. The host Jane along with the bird life are so friendly and I enjoy my stay there every time I visit.

We recently stayed at the Rubyvale Motel and couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable — probably one of the best motels we’ve had the pleasure of visiting.
Also worth visiting the jewellery store at reception. Jane was so generous with her time and had a wealth of knowledge about sapphires.

We stayed here on our fossicking trip and it was an absolute delight! The rooms were clean, generous and comfortable and such a great place to unwind after a day of digging! The hosts were so friendly and were always so happy to advise you on where to go and talk about their fabulous town! My favourite part was waking up to the wallaby and Joey outside our door each morning. The bird life was such a joy it really was a little paradise away from home! Could not recommend this enough! Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

What a great place to stay … Quiet, very clean and the beds were the best I have slept in. The hosts were amazing. We did the night Galaxy viewing, and it was very informative. You have wildlife roaming around the grounds, so very relaxing. Do not miss the opportunity to view the stars. All this at the most reasonable price. We have booked again already.

An unexpected and exceptional 2 night stay, wish it had been longer. Just a few hundred metres beyond Rubyvale's main town centre but the location was excellent. A quiet bush outlook with an outside patio where we were greeted by a beautiful little wallaby wanting to be hand fed. The 2 bedroom unit was comfortable, immaculate and well equipped for self catering. Just a very short drive to the atmospheric New Royal Hotel where we had an excellent meal both evenings. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back for a return visit.

I have stayed here once before however this was a quick overnighter. The place is amazing and just a stone throw from the centre of town. I stayed in the spa suite and absolutely loved it!
I went and used the bbq facilities and was accompanied by the butcher birds for dinner. The place is beautiful and very well maintained.
I would definitely stay here again!

Welcoming and clean unit with everything we needed. Homely country style with travellers considered — washing machine in unit, kitchen, full fridge, and TV. The bed was comfortable and the location very relaxing. BBQ facilities, swimming pool and gardens were all well-maintained and enjoyable. Bonus was the local wildlife and stargazing. There is even a telescope with an expert guide available for booking!

Tranquil beautiful setting which is a credit to the owners. If you are looking for a couples getaway, from your everyday busy life this is definitely the place to come and unwind. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay! Perfect setup and close to the fossicking areas. The pool and AC were a savior as we arrived possibly too close to summer! It was hot! The place was clean and tidy, hosts were welcoming and wildlife all around! We will be back! Thanks again, Nick, Vee and Oliver.

What a lovely place to stay when visiting the gem fields. Self contained two bed unit with all you need and a front verandah to sit out on and listen to and observe … nature, what a great way to spend the early morning with a cuppa and sunset with a cold drink. They even have a gem shop, swimming pool and an observatory. Hosts are very welcoming, highly recommended and will be back if I'm in the area.

The jewellery on display is simply stunning and Jane is so patient and helpful in sharing her in depth experience of gems. We were blown away by the serenity of the environment, the generous sharing of knowledge and the competitive pricing for beautiful locally mined sapphires.

Please dont change a thing? it was one of the nicest and relaxing stays that we have ever had and now that we are home from our 6800km road trip can say that our stay with you will definitely go into "the pool room" as a remarkable stay. Anybody who wishes to "go bush" with the comforts of home need to look no further. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in July 24. Beautifully presented accommodation and well maintained location, close to all the local areas of interest. Jane and Michael were very welcoming and answered all our questions. We enjoyed our 'star gazing' despite the clouds!
Highlights included a Wallaby mum, with joey, who came from adjoining bushland to to say hallo, while we sat under the porch having our lunch. Very peaceful and relaxing.
