Mitchell Motel & Cabins

This was an amazing place to stay. The hospitality is amazing, truly couldn't have chosen a better place to stay on Christmas and in the middle of a long drive from Sydney to Darwin! Rooms are extremely clean, on sites free parking and a range to cabin sizes to choose from.
The absolute highlight of my stay IN the entire of Australia. Thanks to the team for being absolutely incredible!

After a long 13-hour drive with two big dogs, the Mitchell Motel was a fantastic place to stay! I was pleasantly surprised by the warm, welcoming service. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a tiring journey.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with pets or looking for a stopover.

I was impressed with the greeting, offered me a choice of restaurants that were open. Suggested a spa. The room was bright and cheerful, had all amenities that you would need. If wanted more plates, knives, forks etc. Said to get them from the camp kitchen. Very impressed with the bathroom. Obviously been renovated.
2 things, due to it being bore water pressure wasn't very good but nice and hot. The other thing was the air-conditioning. Old and noisy although working well. Definable give it a nine.

Just got back from a long trip with many motel stays, but Mitchell Motel and Cabin Park stands out. The rooms are as clean as they should be anywhere, and they are well equipped. But what really blew me away was how nice the people were. An absolute recommendation!

It was very comfortable staying here. I had a cabin that could have slept three. Air-conditioner was a bit noisy but it was very effective. The bathroom was great and even had a heated light. The staff were fabulous. They recommended Richards hotel for dinner which was also fabulous.

Staff was very helpful, rooms are beautifully clean. Lovely outdoor cooking area for all guest to use including crockery. Great stay for the local spa holiday or business in MItchell. Would visit again. Lovely large cabins or budget rooms or motel rooms.

For the cost $165 (3 adults) I would have expected a kitchenette or some cooking facilities in the cabin and the air-conditioning at times sounded like a 747 taking off. The service however was exceptional.

Stayed in a cabin with my two teenagers. It was a good-sized cabin and had everything you need in the way of amenities. Very clean and tidy inside and out. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location is easy to find, also close to the pub and service station. Could not ask for anything more.

Planned on staying one night but stayed for two. Excellent cabin, outdoor kitchen was awesome. Thanks for the great stay!

The room we stayed in was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the customer service was fantastic.

Very clean and tidy rooms with great service. The staff were very helpful, I locked my key inside the room accidentally and the lady in the office gave me a spare key without saying any word.

Very friendly helpful team who went out of their way to help by trying to find a chair suitable to put in the shower 🚿 for a person with mobility limits. The room was clean beds comfortable and good pillows. Sorry I forgot to take the photos before we messed up the beds. Shower was big, water hot.
