We had two wonderful days near Mission Beach in one of the best B&B’s that we have ever had. A beautiful room, everything clean and a service by the host, unbelievable! Tim cooked delicious breakfasts, gave good dinner suggestions, was talkative and did everything he could to make our stay amazing!
What a host!
If you go to the Mission Beach area, it is definitely a good idea to visit Tim and Stephen!

Tim was very warm, kind & welcoming from our arrival at Sealords and extremely helpful throughout.
On arriving, we were given a detailed run through of our room, all the amenities available along with a clear explanation of activities / walks nearby all annotated on a map which made it easy to navigate, plan and explore Mission Beach.
Tim is clearly passionate on ensuring guests are comfortable and providing excellent service and hospitality. It was an added bonus that we were the only guests staying at the time of our visit.
We enjoyed our 3 night stay in The Ulysses Room which was well proportioned, tastefully decorated & had all you could need and more. It is a bonus to have Netflix & it was nice to have additional TV viewing options for the evenings.
The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding and I certainly appreciated the comfort of the pillows.
The room has a Nespresso machine & a good sized fridge which had free bottled water & other drinks available to purchase. Fresh milk, a range of teas & nespresso pods were also provided. The daily free chocolate from Charley’s (locally sourced) was a nice touch which we looked forward to having in the afternoon / evening and enjoyed 😋 — thank you.
The bathroom was modern, had a separate bath and twin shower heads and also provided all you would need including sunscreen & insect repellent for guests to use.

I don't know how we found this place, but I'm glad we did. I couldn't dream of better service or accommodation than we had at Sealords (although better weather would have been nice). Tim was an amazing host, who cooked delicious breakfasts and recommended and booked wonderful tours and restaurants for our stay in Mission Beach. From reservation through departure, I couldn't have wanted more. The B&B is right across the street from a beautiful beach. Each of the 3 restaurants we enjoyed in town were among the best of our 2 weeks in Australia. Our Ulysses room was huge and the bathroom was gorgeous. Maybe someday, we'll see Mission Beach in the sunshine, as it appears to be the perfect little beach village!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this B and B. Sharon, Phil and their son David are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the mornings was lovely on the veranda. The beach is just a short walk away and wallabys congregate in the next street. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and come back again.

The owner was very kind and friendly. The room was clean and neat. Breakfast was nice. I'd like to recommend this BnB to my friends.

I don't know what the other's are talking about, we had the best experience at sealords this weekend. There was no noise only the sounds of the ocean and the birds. We can't recommend this place enough. Sharon, Philip and David made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. That last review was 3 years ago and sounds like a disgruntled couple if you ask me! It's like bad fish… never overstay your welcome or people can go off too!

My partner and I were planning to stay at the Sealords B and B for 3 months due to receiving work in the area, but the neighbors forced us to move out early. Initially the owners were friendly, and the cabin next to the pool seemed nice, but from the get-go all we heard was bass music from the surrounding houses. The owners refused to offer a partial refund on nights we had paid for in advance, and became ignorant. Apart from the constant thumping noise from the neighbors, the television only received signal for a couple of hours a day — something they conveniently forgot to advertise. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend choosing this place during your stay unless you are hard of hearing like the owners. You would probably be better off staying next to a club, at least they only play music at nigh time instead of 24/7.
