Large sites, spotless modern amenities. Cafe onsite with fantastic coffee and good selection of food, burgers and hot dogs amazing, egg and bacon roll to die for. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place to spend your holidays. Great Staff. Great house keeping, beautiful gardens. And the Gardner “whoo hoo” But don’t tell anyone cause it will be too hard to get in.

Very nice and clean Park with all the amenities you require. Lovely managers (Robyn & David) left the park in the more than capable hands of Simon & Kath the caretakers, while we were there. Nice and close to the beach, very dog friendly and in a quiet part of town.
Definitely coming back for some more R & R soon.

Beautiful tropical landscape. Big sites. Across a quiet road from 14 kms of sandy beach and the Coral Sea. Friendly efficient managers. Magic! We just keep coming back.

Great location, good value, nice clear facilities.

Always friendly to deal with, we go there a lot, at least 4-5times a year. The sites are big and you can bring your dogs. The pool is always clean but I have never been in because it’s not disabled friendly.
Very inconsistent for asking me to pay a deposit, sometimes I do sometimes I don’t but you would think that because we go there so much that the deposit wouldn’t be necessary.
It’s getting a bit expensive to stay there now as well but because it’s in a great location we always pay when there is one up the road $10 cheaper.

Beautifully well maintained caravan park. Huge sites, immaculate amenities and lovely friendly staff. Onsite cafe with a great menu and outdoor seating with a view of Dunk island. Fabulous pool. The beach is right at your doorstep, great for walking our furbaby. Woolies and pub are just around the corner. Lovely new managers running the park. Best park in Mission beach. 5 stars.

We have been coming to Dunk Island View Caravan Park for a number of years. We have a large caravan as well as a boat and the park has been very accommodating with this. Our two little Dachshunds also love it here.

The years.

I have been at the Dunk Island View Caravan Park for 8 days and it is a fabulous place! The amenities are excellent; clean and practical. The staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful… nothing has been too much trouble!
It is perfectly placed and I have enjoyed long walks on the beach with Dunk Island and other Islands easily accessible for those who want to spend a day or longer exploring the Islands.
The township of Mission Beach is laid back and an enjoyable place to visit particularly on Market Day (Sunday)
Dunk Island View Caravan Park is well appointed with a pool and activities such as a large bonfire and ‘Happy Hour’ once or twice a week providing guests with the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy a social get together if they are interested. People are friendly and as a woman travelling on her own I feel safe and secure and enjoy the friendly waves from other residents as they stroll by.

Perfectly positioned for a family. Pool near our cabin, beach 50 mts away and the Skate and Water park just a nice walk up the road.

Unfortunately this business missed out on a $90 food order today due to poor customer service, we stood inside the cafe at the counter for 8 minutes without having any one of the 3 staff behind it acknowledge us. 1 was serving a caravan park guest the other 2 making coffees, although the cafe wasn’t busy (a table of 3 outside that had already received their orders and another table of 4 that were waiting on coffees) I understand staff get busy and may not be able to serve you right away, but what is not acceptable and just down right rude is to completely ignore the customers you have waiting, it wouldnt have cost any of the 3 staff any of their time to just simply look up at us, and say ‘hi, sorry we won’t be a moment’ this unfortunately is the second time this has happened as we visited a week ago only to have been ignored until they felt ready to serve us, I just put it down to a bad day, and as the food was good, gave them another chance today however it was just the same poor service experience and although we are local we will not visit again. You MUST acknowledge your customers — busy or not!

A very relaxing Park. Lovely cafe delicious food and wonderful coffee. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We will be back.

Staying a few days at Dunk Island View caravan park near Mission Beach with our dogs & loving it! Highly recommend it! Plenty of room on our grassy shady site and everyone here is so friendly and helpful. Great beach across the road and facilities here are great!

The price might change pending how busy they are (up by 50% for me even with a confirmed booking). Clean, basic, amazing spot! And yes, almost forgot, no more pet friendly rooms!

Amazing stay, great staff, friendly! The lots for camping were very clean and tidy, had a good kitchen set up and a great brand new toilet facility! Was very impressed with the location and the area! Would highly recommend for camping or with caravans! GREAT!

You get what you pay for. It was functional and made the places we had to go accessible.

Helpful staff. The park was full, but they organised a spot for us anyway. Very grateful. Our site was right next to several tropical trees and the creek full of lillies. Park is across from the beach. What a beautiful relaxing spot to stay.

The van park itself has decent sized sites. Short walk to the beach. Has a pool. Toilet blocks clean. Plenty to do & see.

I wanna get sponsered by these guys. I ride bmx and they always get me through the day with an icy cold drink and a box of warm chips with gravey. Recently I have broken my jaw and they gave me an extra plate with a knife and fork for cutting the chips smaller so I can eat them. Wonderful friendly staff and an air conditioned room with free Wi-Fi. Im very pleased with how it turned out in the end!

Good caravan park, level, well maintained sites, pool, camp kitchen, cafe. Everything a family would want. Close to beach which means great views and sea breeze off the Coral sea.

Friendly staff, nice cool breezes in the shade and a stone's throw to the beach. You can bring your "fur babies" too. Any van park which has nice showers and soft close toilet seats is a "yes" for me. Pitty the pub burnt down the night before we got there. Hardly any flies and mozzies when we were here, which has made the days and nights just beautiful.

We love staying here. Clean and friendly. Just across the road from the beach. Dogs most welcome.

We spent 2 weeks camping around North Queensland and the Dunk Island View Caravan Park was easily our favourite campground. The grounds are beautiful! The amenities were excellent! Much better than the camp grounds we stayed at in Palm Cove and Port Douglas. They have lovely grassy campsites and are situated right across the road to one of the best beaches in Australia. Not only was this our favourite campsite for this trip, I think it was the most affordable too. This was our first time camping as a family and we're glad we chose Dunk Island View Caravan Park. I work there, what a wonderful place, good food great accommodation and the best staff ever seen, always friendly and helpful.

The facilities at this caravan park were clean, included mostly everything you would need, free washing machines and decent bathrooms. The customer service was excellent! We had a swag mishap and needed some rope, they kindly let us borrow theirs even though it was after hours at reception. Would definitely camp there again as the site was good quality, including soft grass, taps and a concrete slab all surrounded by palm trees.

Great location right on the beach great pool for the kids great tent sites next to the pool bbq's on the beach with views of Dunk island boat & jet ski hire just beautiful would give it a few more stars if I could.

Poor service: Long wait to place meals order, drink order that never arrived, rice brought out 15 minutes before accompanying meal. Rubbish. Steer clear of this place.

Sites are OK but units are crap. They put campervans right in front of your bedroom so you hear sliding doors all night and there is loud music from some club on the other side. Avoid.

Awful smell, toilet/shower open to the elements, tiled floor even in bedroom? yet 2 aircons. Strange. Park and mission beach boring.
