The food was absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and the accomodation was extremely clean and comfortable. Having accomodation with a beautiful restaurant attached to it was a bonus. The owner even had a lovely fire place out the front. Made it such a warm and cosey. 5 stars from us.

The bed was comfy and the pizza was amazing from the restaurant. The owners were very friendly and accommodating as we arrived earlier than expected. I found the motel to be exceptionally clean compared to most. Good job cleaners you are the backbone of this industry.

Really great service from the owner who is lovely. A very clean tidy room with an awesome shower. Yummy room service and the grounds are beautifully kept. A happy surprise overall for the low price.

I have stayed at many different places over the past few weeks on my travels from Victoria and this was by far the worst. The shower was very slippery, I slipped but wasn't hurt, I told my daughter to be careful but her first step into the shower resulted in a fall with bruising to her leg and arm and a cut arm gushing blood. Twice we asked for help with the heating but we were ignored. We were leaving early to go to tin can bay and there was no lighting outside for us to see in the dark. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, the vertical blinds didn't close properly and there was mould on the bathroom ceiling. Customer service was bad and to top it off the prices they had advertised on the internet were a lie, we were charged top price! Every other place we stayed we couldn't have been more happy, this was our only bad experience. We left a note regarding the fall and management haven't even bothered to respond to us, our phone calls are fobbed off although they did say they were getting maintenance staff to fix the shower. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's all about saving money and not the customer.

I stayed on a cold night and the heating didnt work. Went to reception to ask for help, she fobbed me off. Then asked the room service attendant for assistance and they said they will go get someone. By the time we realised no one was coming the office was closed so me and my mum had to spend a cold winter night there. Also there was mould on the bathroom ceiling, the shower base was so slippery I fell and cut my arm and could find no first aid facilities on site. I left a no…te for management, I've called and emailed pictures of the incident and they are completely ignoring me. I'm in the process of contacting consumer affairs qld.
The place is cramped, overpriced, dirty, with terrible customer service.
The woman who runs it has a cat and a dog running around the office which is connected to the kitchens, I saw the chef evict the cat a number of times. Ewww
Final rant, the cups in the room smelt strongly of alcohol rub so it seems the dishes dont get properly cleaned just wiped over. I used a McDonalds cardboard coke cup I had in the car for a drink of water rather than the room dishes. I would not recommend this as a place to stay. Your own car would be more comfortable.

Just had our first meal here. We were extremely well looked after and the chef went above and beyond to create a meal for me at short notice catering for my needy GF vegetarian request!. And it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Ridiculously good steak, nothing else like it in Gympie. The tomahawk steak is the best. My wife is vegetarian and the chef went out of his way to produce a lovely vegetarian dish as well.

Pet friendly (best dog park across the road) very clean, lovely staff, excellent meals.

After abandoning camping on Fraser Island due to inclement weather I contacted this motor inn at 7pm on Easter Saturday looking for enough accommodation for 10 people plus a toddler. The staff member in the phone (Angie) could not have been more helpful. She promptly booked 4 rooms (side by side) at a very reasonable rate considering the public holiday, texted me the details & told us to arrive whenever was convenient for us. Upon arrival each room was unlocked with the AC running and lights on ready for us all to have a much needed rest. The rooms were clean and tidy. The showers were hot and the beds very comfy. If you need a place to rest or last minute accomodation in Gympie this is the place for you.

Stayed for an overnight stopover and this place is everything you can hope for in a one night stay. We stayed in the back 1 double bed 1 single bed rooms and it was super clean, bed and bedding was super comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, it was really quiet despite having a pub on site and close to the highway, really couldn't fault the place and Derek, the manager is really friendly and helpful as we we're mucked around by a 3rd party booking agent. We stop over in Gympie a lot and have tried many other hotels in the area and this will now be our go to. Highly recommended.

Steak cuts were average. Much fat.

Clean, room service, dinning room, kiosk, under cover parking, I stayed at the back of the motel and had no highway noise, polite reception staff on arrival with outdoor fire burning. I had a Wonderful stay would recommend this motel to any one travelling through.

Good sized rooms. Excellent shower pressure. The motel does very nice dinners.

Old, tatty, dirty, springs felt through mattress, noisy fridge, only heating a bar heater which is so high you have to stand on a chair to switch it on. Grumpy staff. In short a place to avoid.

FORGET IT! Your health is more important. Derek is a sham. Stayed for the night and got more than we bargained for. Sneezing and wheezing, turned the Air-Con off as felt nauseous. Investigated and found the Air Con Filter screens thick with Dust and Black Mould. Contacted owner politely for compensation and declined. Followed up on so called Healthy Hotels Accreditation to find he isn't a paid up subsribed Member however promotes his Business to be. Claims to be a 4 Star Motel. I rate 1 star or less and still suffering ft lu symptoms.

Food was awesome had rump steak. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and location was convenient on the south side of town.
