A little bit dated but have been going here since my kids were little extremely convenient, beautiful views access to the strand adjacent to the hotel. Love Ocean Plaza.

Lovely, clean apartments with ocean and city view out every window. Best location, right on the beach and on top of a big shopping center. Really close to restaurants, everything within walking distance. The only negative thing is some of the apartments are quite old and their facilities need to be replaced to make it more comfortable for guests. It's potluck which one you will get.

We were at Cooly Rocks On Festival, not the resort. Great day out. Cool cars and fantastic music.

I did not experience any of the room, however the foyer looks clean and spacious with a lovely water feature. Large reception desk with friendly looking well dressed staff. Great location in the heart of food shops entertainment with in a short walk to NSW. Plenty of activities to suit all ages and interests.

Rooms and service is good with great facilities and views.

Long time ago but always good to get to Coolangatta.

I would not recommend this place, the beds were blood stained and very uncomfortable. I stayed there a long time ago however I was threatened that I better not write a bad review … but I really want people to know, how bad it really is. Even charged for glasses and they thought I’d stolen them when I hadn’t… the worst experience ever, have photos of the blood stained beds…

Great place for a family holiday! Location is amazing with views of Coolangatta and the Gold Coast from our balcony, and the beach across the road, plus located in the Strand Shopping complex its a perfect place to stay! Loved it!

Stayed on level 13 in a renovated 2 bedroom unit and was super happy! So close to everything and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed and we will not return. Stale smell, dirty carpets, rust around the shower surrounds, walls need repairing and the Refuse room is filthy.

Perfect location. The cleanliness of rooms was very disappointing. Every room in this particular unit is in need of refurbishment.

Great location however the room was noisy, loud music and could hear the lift clearly from the room.

Fantastic location, walk to every thing. Some of the best beaches in the world just out the front door. Virtually every unit has uninterupted ocean views.

Don't stay there! We found a tube of cream under the bed for SCABIES! I thought the cleaning staff would have found that? The staff were unhelpful & didn't seem to care — the apartment itself wasn't the cleanest & the dishes in the kitchen cupboard were all different — for the money there are much nicer places to stay in Coolangatta, so give it a miss!

Upon check in I found food and rubbish under the couch. A brown sloppy substance on the bin (possibly) and dirty unwashed dishes. I thought it may be a good idea to give the carpet a once over my self with the vacuum provided but it didn't work because it was full, I had to empty the mess myself. I did email management to give them the opportunity to redeem themselves before this rating but no one ever got in touch to resolve. The apartment itself is lovely and has great views, BYO cleaning products.

Perfect location right on the beach, great views all round, comfortable beds, metres to all shops, cafes, parks and the beach, good surfing spot, family friendly, staff welcoming, great price, a great place to stay!

Good location near the beach and several surf clubs within walking distance.

Very friendly. Quite with great swimming pool and great sauna. Great place for families.

Carpark is frustrating to get to but the rooms are nice.

Great budget hotel, no airconditioning in bedrooms, Wi-Fi is not free, beds are very hard. However it is clean and tidy, fairly modern and close to everything.

This is my home away from home, we've been coming here for more than 20 years, can't stay away.

Had a wonderful weekend with my daughter. Fabulous place. Magnificent 2 bedroom apartment, beautifully clean, and everything we could want. Only thing I don't like lifts, but that is not their fault. Staff very friendly. Coming back, but want the same unit.

May 15, just enjoyed 15 relaxing nights at Ocean Plaza. Stayed here 25 times before, not sure if we like it yet but will keep coming back again. Handy hint. Ask for an UPGRADED unit.

Fantastic location close to beach, shops and movies. No real need to use the car. Apartment was spotlessly clean and ready upon our arrival. Well equipped apartment. Will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay, we have often stayed at Ocean Plaza it is a lovely place with magnificent views from every room, the staff are very helpful and friendly, I love the way you can go down in the lift and there are movie theaters shops grocery stores and it is in the center of the Coolangatta shops, so handy to the beach and clubs. We will certainly recommend Ocean Plaza to anyone and we will return.

Very friendly staff, great nicely renovated one bedroom unit, fabulous location, great pool and spa area. Would really recommend as a top reasonably priced option for staying right in the heart of everything. Views were SUPERB! Loved it! Very low noise disturbance considering location right above Coolangatta Hotel with band even playing during our stay. Barely heard any of it (with sliding doors closed). Brilliant location. I'm staying there again for sure.

We always enjoy staying at the Ocean Plaza Resort. On our last stay was our 5th visit. The staff are friendly and willing to accommodate. We have no hesitation in recommending the Ocean Plaza. Our recommendation would be solely on our experience. Rooms were spotless and the view from the 6th floor was great with a front on view of the Coolangatta Beach and Greenmount. Would have no hesitation in re booking. Close to shopping, medical, restaurants and beaches. We had previously stayed at Greenmount, Bay Apartments, Calypso and Aries.

Our family has booked 3-bedroom accommodation at the Resort for the past four years and have enjoyed it immensely and plan to return again. The Resort staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and well-well furnished with air conditioning in the main lounge and excellent kitchen facilities. The Resort has tennis courts, a gym, table tennis, golf practice nets, fun machines and a heated pool and spa. It is conveniently situated in a building with adequate parking, a cinema and several shops including Woolworths, Aldi, BWS, a chemist and other smaller shops. It is only a short walk to the beach from the Resort. As a further bonus, it is only a 10 minutes drive from the Coolangatta airport.
