Beautiful place to stay. So relaxing with beach front balcony looking over the water watching all the activity including whales. The room is beautifully presented and immaculatly clean. We have everything we need here. The new managers have been very welcoming and helpful. We have stayed here many times and just love it! Room 501.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Sands. We scored the room on the bottom level even at this level you can see the beach. We will definitely be back. Perfect for a family especially with small children.

Amazing views, large rooms, direct access to beach. Little touches like salt and pepper in the kitchen, ice cubes in the freezer, big glasses for icy drinks. Great little out of the way spot.

We stayed 4 nights at Pelican Sands Resort purely because it was close to John Flynn Hospital. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms are newly renovated, spotlessly clean, spacious and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The resort is right on the beach, there is no road in between or trees/buildings blocking view. There is a lovely BBQ area on the beach, alongside a beautiful pool. As well as an in door plunge pool, spa, pool table and ping pong table for rainy/cold days. It’s is in a great location, walking distance to IGA and cafes. Away from all the hustle and bustle but still within a reasonable driving distance to Surfers Paradise etc if you wish to do the touristy thing. It is only a bit over 4km from Coolangatta which has some really beautiful restaurants and shops.
I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful week stay at a unit with an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean! Can’t wait to go back again. The staff is wonderful units are clean and well equipped and the price is extremely reasonable. Can’t beat Pelican Sands Resort.

A great place to stay, but fixtures and fittings are getting a bit worn and weary. 1/2 mile to nearest shops.

We always try and stay in apartment 602 as both the bedrooms and lounge have 180 degree views of the ocean, absolutely amazing!

Excellent family friendly holiday apartments with wonderful staff. Close to everything and right on the beach. We have stayed at heaps of places on the coast and this is the best of them all.

Pelican Sands is an excellent resort in a fantastic location. Great friendly staff ad well.

I absolutely adore this place, I would recommend it to everyone!

The family comes here for a holiday once every few years. The rooms have had an upgrade since we were here last. The furniture is nice, the rooms are spacious with great seaside views. The staff really care for us and we'll be back again in the future.

Nice place, but we had a voucher that they did not accept as they said they were booked out. Yet when we called back with a paid booking for the same rooms they suddenly were available. When questioned they then said it was because it was peak season even though the dates were outside the excluded dates on the voucher. Luckily the place we got the voucher from understood they were being dodgy and refunded our purchase. But I would never recommend this place because of that.

The view from our apartment was the most amazing view, straight direct to the ocean it was like having our own private beach! No roads or other apartments in the way! The room was clean and had a lovely kitchen and cute little furnishings. Loved the spa bath in our bathroom. Would definitely come back.

Sitting in the penthouse, 2 hours before we were meant to check in, but were able to check in early, great service friendly people and definitely a place my family and I will return to many more times, and I've only been here. 2 hours lol.
