Springbrook Mountain Chalets

Loved our time here. So peaceful, exactly what we wanted. Chalets were clean and cozy with lots of amenities. Lots of birds and wildlife. Paul was a great host! Will be back.

Spent 3 nights, beautiful location, central to waterfall, lookouts and heritage routes. Customer service was excellent, the chatel was cosy but enough space for 2 people. Native birds are friendly enough for wild birds and cant wait to return, definitely home away from home.

We came as a family to springbrook moutain chalet during our vacation around Brisbane. We stayed 2 nights in chalet 2 and it was the most beautiful part of our trip! The chalet is beautiful, cosy, the little fire was a real pleasure and my little daughter loved it. We really enjoyed the spa bath! In the morning we were visited by lots of birds and especially some beautiful white cockatoo! The host is adorable and always there if needed! It was really incredible! Thank you so much for welcoming us to this amazing place! We will come back for sure!

Honestly 100/10 experience! My partner and I had the most tranquil weekend. The place is absolutely beautiful and we cannot get enough and have even booked the same dates a few years in advanced! The perfect weekend getaway from reality. The owner Paul is absolutely lovely and super friendly. Everything is well kept and clean, and the spa in chalet 5 is just unmatched in every single way being in an enclosed room with full window views out into the forest! Will be coming back for years to come. My only small issue is the knives are blunt so if you’re preparing full meals, maybe bring one just in case!

Gorgeous secluded location. Cabin with fireplace and spa. All cooking amenities. Rainforest walk to Apple Tree Park. Would highly recommend perfect for a romant getaway.

Really horrible. Could never imagine charging $300 a night to stay in the middle of Queensland summer in a room that has no air conditioning. Luxury prices to sit and sweat. Would never recommend.

Absolutely amazing stay.
Stayed in cabin 3 (2 bedrooms)
As soon as you drive in off the main road everything is so relaxing and peaceful.
Owners are nice and friendly as well.
The cabins are a little closer together than I originally thought but you still have privacy.
They have bird feeders and seed to give the birds which was a highlight for me.
The cabins are nice, beds are comfortable and they have a hard drive full of movies.
I loved every part of this stay and can not wait to come back again.
Due to the beautiful windows bring an eye mask if you’d like to sleep in. Also if you are like me bring a dressing gown. It’s private but I still I felt exposed at night.

We spent 2 amazing nights here and couldnt be more thrilled with the experience. The wood cabin in the rainforest with fireplace and a spa lives up to every expectation and then some. The managment and facilities are amazing and we with most certainly be back.

My partner took me here for a 4 day rest and I promised myself I would Relax, Rejuvenate, and re energise being a mum of 6 grown and 32 grankids, and I couldn't have picked a more perfect place then to stay at a beautiful chalet, birds eating food from hands beautiful fresh air, amazing care takers.
I have now been blessed to have spent 4 days in this amazing rainforest chalet.
Go take a holiday there, I promise you you NM won't regret it.

Hubby & I spent 2 nights at this lovely retreat as part of a 4 night "escaping the daily grind" getaway to Springbrook, and absolutely loved it.
Reasonably priced, especially compared to other retreats in the area which have become more costly over recent years. The chalets are nestled deep within the rainforest, far enough away from the local roads/community to allow decent peace & quiet. The serenity is bliss!
We loved the fireplace and the corner spa. Feeding the local birdlife on our verandah every day was also a highlight for us. The owner (Paul) was also a delight to interact with, very friendly and helpful.
Overall it was a great stay, our only regret is that we weren't able to book for longer (sold out) as we could have easily spent a few more nights here.

Wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, sparkling clean and comfortable. Secluded, relaxing, surrounded by wildlife in the rainforest. Birds coming in to feed on the balcony. Chalet with great spa, wood fire and all facilities you could ask for. Back to nature with a touch of kuxury.

Rustic wooden cabins set in a magical misty mountain. Old school charm. Learn the art of communication again. There is no internet! Explore world heritage listed rainforests, quaint little shops (NOT MANY) I suggest paying a visit to Pure vibrations crystal shop and the fudge shop for amazing coffee and fantastic fudge. Springbrook is a small, quiet community of approximately 900 people. There is only one local shop with a small grocery section, bed baths bring your own food and make sure you've got plenty of petrol in the car as there are no service stations.
HAVE RESPECT PEOPLE!
Keep this slice of paradise pristine! THE MINIMAL FOOTPRINT AND TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU.

The chalets are situated in the middle of a rainforest. Each chalet is unique and totally isolated from the other chalets. We had the chalet with the spa which was such a treat after spending all day walking. The chalets are kept spotless by Paul and Sharon.

Took my partner visiting from his home country here and im so glad we did! we had an amazing few days playing with the birds, going hiking and enjoying the seclusion. It’s a nice area away from the busyness of the world. We barely even noticed there was no reception!
Paul and sharron were so kind and attentive to us when we needed it and I can’t begin to praise them enough! their attentiveness and care really reflects into the chalets as well, this was cleaner than majority of hotels I have stayed in. The bed was comfortable, the area is spacious and the hot tub was also a nice touch :-)
As stated there isn’t any reception but the TV has all local channels, the kitchen is more than equipped as we took time to experiment with different meals and there’s so much nature to see!
Im so surprised by how cheap this place is for what you get in return and couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a fantastic weekend in Springbrook and stayed in the Springbrook Mountain Chalets which were absolutely wonderful. They have everything you need, John and Sharron have thought of everything! Beautiful location, we fed the birds in the morning with the bird feed provider (wonderful experience). The bed was so comfortable, up on the top floor and woke up to the nicest views of the trees and even had some birds knock our window to wake us up lol Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, honestly 10/10 for everything!

Amazing location, so beautiful.
The chalet was set up perfectly with absolutely everything needed, remembering that u must bring all food and drinks basically for your stay as it's a bit of a trip to the closest shopping centre or restaurant. There are a few lovely cafes open during the day close by though. So many fantastic bush walks, waterfalls and scenery very close by. Chalet itself was stunning. Owner was helpful and polite, no issues there, plenty of fire wood available and provided. Decent phone reception with optus. So many really beautiful birds. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place to stay in the hinterland, hidden amongst the trees. A fireplace to keep you toasty warm, a big hot tub to relax after exploring the many hiking tracks around the area. Sit on the balcony and watch the many birds that inhabit the bush land. I can’t wait to come back.
