The host at the front the young lady from equator was the best and so nice she is a credit to your business. The servers were great — mit Cruz Downey.

Pool side drinks great priced accommodation.

So much fun to be had! Fabulous cocktails good food and fantastic atmosphere recommend.

We had my daughters 18th Bday on Saturday night. The sunset deck was the perfect venue, staff were amazing, drinks and food fabulous.
The event manager was so easy to deal with very punctual but also relaxed. Shoutout to the bar staff and waitress they work super hard but still make it fun.

Should potentially consider thinking twice about the people you place out the front of your hotel who represent your company. Homophobic security guards abusing young women to the point where people who had already been in but were out having a smoke and witnessed what had happened and refused to go back into your hotel speaks volumes for how quickly a reputation can be destroyed. The woman that was refused was dressed completely within dress code standards but was denied by your security, sworn at and abused simply because her sense of style didn’t sit right with him, how ever he was happy to let her friend in who was wearing a shirt not much bigger then a bra. It’s 2020, people have a right to love who they want to love and wear whatever they feel comfortable in so long as it meets your dress code. This is an absolutely disgusting display of behaviour and you should all be appalled in how the situation was handled.

We were served by the best bartender i’ve ever met named georgia, she literally deserves a pay rise she is incredible xx.

Top place for location. 3 star standard. Quite clean inside. Rusty hotplates stove, has cooking utensils etc. Coffee tea provided. Good TV. Wi-Fi free. Slow single lift. Some secure parking under. 270 degree views from room 81 next to shopping restaurants river and beach. Long veranda. FOOD AND Bar popular ground floor. Breakfast was provided continental and toast. Swimming pool. Good value top spot for a longer stay. Has backpackers for a good price. Highly recommended for budget holiday.

Great location and rooms were quite large and nice however would not recommend for those staying over the weekend. The bar/club downstairs barred music till ridiculous hours making it frustrating and hard to sleep. Would be great if you were aged 18-twenties otherwise it was rather unenjoyable, shame that it wrecked such a beautiful location.

Was a fantastic location. If wanting quiet don't stay on a weekend. Has a nightclub downstairs. Website does inform you. Also we booked a queen room and was 2 single beds and mattresses joined together! Wasn't impressed with that. The coctails were delicious.

The atmosphere here is really good and actually is a nice place to kick it even when it’s packed, minus some of the stuck up ones that make there way in-e. G you hold the bathroom door open for someone/move aside to let them through and you don’t get much as a smile to say thankyou. Anyway. I didn’t exactly feel all that spesh when I got my vodka raspberry with this long stringy (hair? ) in my glass that all I could taste was cheap vodka too. If it’s gonna be $10 a drink at least make it nice/drinkable.

Stayed in the penthouse on level 9 bed was comfortable lighting in bathroom bad batteries in no remotes ironing board burnt mild on mattresses dirty kettle dirty cups glasses stains on beds windows not cleaned payed to stay there but wasn't up to high standards for what we pay for dishwasher still had food inside it.

Ok probably not the most appropriate Place for bussines people to stay or older people my self and my mother who is in her 70s where booked in we tryed to ring the bell for an after hours check in and there was a fight between the security staff and a drunk guy. Now to be fair we found another hotel and Tony was more than happy to refund for us. Witch is why I gave 4 stars not for us but a very good job and attitude about our position. This place would be ideal for a group of younger people on trip in part of the world a room above a night club perfect for some. Just be warned if that’s not your thing or reason for travel then you maybe better off elsewhere.

Only one night, very suitable for vacation relaxing, high-rise room is very worth recommending, Sunrise, sunset have a certain level, in addition to holiday downstairs bar music, lower floors more noisy, upstairs no impact!

I would not bord my dog there! Waite until you read this. My self and my 72 year old mother where ment to be staying there when we go there we found a night club full of Drunks. I called the bell for an affter hours check in and 2 bouncers where escorting one of the patrons out and FIGHT then broke out! This guy then punched one of the bouncers in the head and there is me and my 72 year old mother in the middle of this! We decided to go to a real hotel the mantra twin towns. We sent an email we did a get refund in fairness. So if you like a bunch of noise hoons and punch ups going on don’t stay!

It's an ok hostel, no Aussies can stay here and there is no kitchen. Sunday they have an awesome party but make sure you arrive before 3:30

A chilled out place during the week to hang your hat and watch the world roll by. The hostel rooms were just hotel rooms with 7 beds plonked into them, which worked rather well in my opinion. The free washing machines, great pool and free breakfast make this place a bargain to stay at.

My friend got asked for $70 to get entry to this place and when he refused they let him in anyway. Suspect much? They closed every window and door so it got to about 45 degrees which was disgusting. It was super dirty and dingy, feel like I contracted every disease there is. Would not recommend.

Rooms were quite untidy (bathroom, other guests), but clean bed and sheets. Breakfast ok with müsli, coffee, toasts etc. However, the staff was not that active to fill up the breakfast table. No cups, coffee had run out. Nice interior and a working elevator. Wifi weak in the room.

Food was pretty good but service was terrible. Not once, but twice, staff showed complete lack of interest and were entirely unhelpful, as if our presence was ruining their evening. Pity, cos would have gone back otherwise!

Unbelievable resort mood and party! But they can still do better!

Great staff AWESOME views WALK everywhere. So close to the best water sports in the World… go for SUP or kayak PADDLE BOAT. Free tuition with every hire.

Great location, good service, when we stayed the elevator wasnt working but they gave us back a percentage of our bill. Handled this issue very well. I would highly recommend.

Nice location, great veiws if you get beach side. Lots of noise from downstairs but who cares your only 12 and from elswhere.

If you're visiting here wanting a hostel, don't. It dosent even have a kitchen or communal area to relax in. The rooms were clean and tidy but the showers could do with a bit of work. Staff varied, one was very rude but some where friendly. Location is great, near beach and town centre. Not much going on here during the week, we were kicked out of the bar before 9 so had to have an early night.

Stunning views of the ocean and the Lake on the other balcony. Really lovely for the value. So convenient and walking distance to cafes, shops, beach. Friendly, helpful staff.

This resort is very well located. Very noisy as it is near or next to bars etc. But don't stay in room 82. Views stunning but clanging noise coming seemingly from above, but not more floors above? like someone hitting the walls, and furniture being moved around, maybe from high winds who knows. No sleep until 3.00. When reported to desk, just a look of confusion and a curt sorry about that. Would not stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago and have returned with my family to celebrate my 50th it was such an enjoyable stay last time and the view is amazing and walking distance to everything.

Fun place to catch up with friends or go for a drink. Summer time drinks in the pool and Great Sunday sesh deals. And cheap prices on back packer hotel rooms.

Great place with nice atmosphere, nice view! I recommend to all the backpackers price super reasonable for quality and location!

Clean and nice hostel, restful atmosphere, free breakfast, nice and cozy pool area, own bar/restaurant downstairs. No safety lockers in every rooms. Really good location just right next to the beach.

Location was great, rooms were clean and functional. Beds were a bit rickety though, needed a good tightening. Included breakfast was pretty terrible. All it was was tea, coffee, weetbix or toast, none of which I could eat as I am gluten intolerant. Service was great and booking was super helpful.

The location is perfect, as it is 100m from the hotel, also for the younger crowd, the bar attached to the hotel is awesome and provides entertainment until midnight where you then go to a club along the coast. Overall this hostel is pretty awesome and meant more for the younger crowd.

Was not mentioned on the wotif website that their was a loud club downstairs with a smoking section right below coming nto our room. It only said "Oceanview room". Also the pictures don't match how the room actually looks. False advertising. For 180 bucks was not worth that much… I wrote a meanier review and changed it after finally getting sleep when the drunk people went home. It's an okay hotel for young surfers or party people. Not really a place for an anniversary for thirty years olds. Only nice thing was the view and the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful.

Great view from our balcony. Clean spacious room. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.

No way, worst experience of my life, looks like I am in a third world country's hotels. Room were little bit clean but beds are not at all comfortable. We arrived on 26th December 2015 it was Friday and party started in the afternoon and it was too noisy. Even Saturday and Sunday were horrible. We asked them clean the room there was a $15.00 charge, they changed towels only no bed sheets and cleaning of room. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Horrible experienced.

Arrived fairly late and there was a party downstairs bit noisy. We had been traveling so bit tired. Clean interesting shaped apartments. Would've liked to have had more time to enjoy the fun atmosphere around the place.
