Mossman Gorge Bed and Breakfast Hotel

A tranquil location right at our back door. Mandy is full of great stories, very knowledgeable about her slice of paradise and surrounds. Games on the deck into the early evening, and a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Simply, put on your list if you are ever in the Port Douglas/Mossman area and want accommodation with 5 stars.

Thank you so much for making our very special night even more special. Mandy went out of her way to accommodate us, we received a very warm welcome, an incredibly compfy bed with stunning views on the valley and the most delicious breakfast including homemade croissants. We will be back for sure. Simply amazing!

I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. It is absolutely wonderful. Well and truly 5 star. Mandy and Chris are very welcoming and the whole place is very relaxing and entertaining. Thank you Mandy and Chris for such a wonderful time. I hope to come back one day.

Recommend trying the home made jams at breakfast!

Our stay lived up to the reviews we'd read in advance. Mandy and Chris were great hosts, full of advice about the local area and suggesting trips that fitted with our interests. In particular if you're a nature lover you'll get top advice from them both. Breakfast time was an opportunity to take in the view on the veranda whilst eating the lovely food on hand and discussing plans for the day, kept company by the local Kookaburras. We felt very at home from the moment we arrived, and my only regret is that we hadn't allowed longer than the 3 nights we were there in our schedule. Thanks to you both and maybe one day we'll be back!

What a fantastic b&b with a great host! Mandy was super helpful with tips and advice on what to do with our time. She's really on the ball. We were here with my parents and she knew exactly what to suggest that would please us all. The bedrooms and beds are great but the real experience is the view from the balcony, which is the canopy of the rainforest. We saw a few native birds come right to the balcony railing! The location was perfect, we chose it because it's spitting distance from mossman gorge (a must visit), out of the busier Port Douglas and that bit closer to The Daintree. Breakfast was delicious accompanied with lots of homemade jams (the tastiest I've ever had! ) Thanks again Mandy for making us feel so at home.

Mandy provides an incredible experience! Beautiful home, incredible wildlife and wonderful people. Our trip to Australia would not have been complete without the experience provided by Mandy!

Very homely feel. Beautiful homemade breakfast.

For the second time we were guests of Mandy and Chris what says everything about the great service. They are so incredibly warm and helpful. It really is like a little home away from home and breakfast is a dream. The mango curd from the local market is simply great and Mandy provides variety every day. Your tips are simply priceless and booking snorkels or diving trips is really easy. Our highlight last time was the great wildlife: Python, Kookabura and herkuless moth are only some examples. We also enjoyed the peace and relaxation on the great veranda with a book. Highly recommend to everyone who seeks unique experiences and want to make their holiday something special.

Wonderful hosts who know their stuff. The best thing about this B&B is you get use of the whole house, not just your room with ensuite. The owners live self contained downstairs so you have access to the upstairs kitchen, lounge, and veranda with amazing views perfect for bird watching. Great breakfast served on the veranda too. Mandy is like your own personal tour guide she is so knowledgeable about the area, and will book you on any tour you wish. A nice pool too for cooling off after a hard days sightseeing. Don't miss Mossman Gorge — it's divine.
