This motel is perfect for families. We were in townsville for youth sports and we couldn't have picked better! Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable and the outdoor area by the pool is made to relax!

My girls and I stayed 5 nights while in Townsville for a netball event. Location was close to the courts, and handy to many other amenities.

Our family used as a base while attending kids basketball competitions.
Stayed in number 9 2 bedroom apartment very comfortable for mum dad and 2 kids.

Staff are all really friendly and helpful. They are a real credit to the park. I stayed in the unit type room had everything I needed comfy bed, great airconditioner and a full size fridge.

This park was a little different, it had the powered slab sites and cabins and then it had a enormous powered and unpowered grass sites.

While the motel is older, the bed was very comfortable and it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed at in Townsville.

I called yesterday to book into Discovery Parks – Townsville and spoke with a lovely young lady named Naomi. She was incredibly friendly, polite, and so efficient.

Great location, there is a road but we didn’t hear it. The kids area was great, the pool was amazing and relaxing.

The Coolabah just totally Rocks! What more can I say. The caretaker Darren is worth his weight in gold! Truly awesome!
