We stayed for a few months, The park is great very clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved the cocktail bar 🍹which we visited on many occasions. And the water aerobics was fantastic I didn't miss a class… Thanks Carla.

My family stayed here for a week and it was the best resort we have been to in a long time, so much for the kids to do, water park with water slides, tennis, games room and playgrounds. The rooms are very spacious and very tidy. The park is managed well and has its own deli/bar to get take away. I definitely recommend anyone travelling to cairns to book your stay here, you won’t regret it.

This is the best Big 4 resort that we have stayed at. There was so much for my kids to do. My daughters loved the water slide.

My kids had such a great time here because of the facilities. I feel it's a bit overpriced for the conditions of the cabins though. They're really old and could do with a refresh. I chose a caravan park as its easier with kids as the cabins are self container, but this cabin barely had enough kitchenware to throw a basic meal together. I also had to throw alot of food out as the tiny bar fridge kept freezing everything. Booking a 3 bed cabin and being charged $104 for the third (extra) person who happened to be a 2 year old is a bit rough. I could have stayed somewhere quite luxurious right in the city for the same price. The on-site store is so overpriced considering its just basic staples. Hopefully there's some improvements before we consider staying again.

Flaty refused entry with our kids to visiting friends who were guests at the resort. Staff at reception were quite rude & unhelpful. I will not recommend this place to any of our friends. A big disappointment for the kids who were excited Go to the colonial club.

Expected accommodation to be better furniture old and should never say it's a 5star when it's obviously not. Very clean but dissatisfied Expected more for $200 a night.

Wonderful stay here, the aqua aerobic class with the delightful Carly is a must. She welcomed newcomers with a genuine warmth. And considered fitness levels, also made the class fun. Great asset. ❤️

We had a medical emergency which required some arrangements outside the box and the staff at Coconut made everything so easy, giving us early entry to a cabin 8am with no notice, late checkout and the relocation of our caravan because our car was stuck at Bramwell Junction. We have travelled all over Australia and stayed at lots of lovely caravan parks, but Coconut staff have exceeded all previous great experiences. Well done Coconut, and a big thank you.

The Big4 Caravan Park is a great Park with lots of attractions to keep the kids and adults happy. A wonderful water Park and 2 pools with Mini golf, playground, movie nights, go carts and bikes for kids and parents to drive around the park and a courtesy bus into the City as well as a Mimi mart/take away shop. Good rates for holiday units, caravans and tents. This Caravan Park is excellent and there are numerous things to do each and every day through out your holiday.

Fabulous place. We didn't want to leave. Everything about the park was excellent. The staff (especially Sarah at reception) were all so helpful and friendly. Kids paradise. This was our second visit and cannot wait to come back. Be careful — you could easily stay there and miss the sights of Cairns.

After spending 5 days in a tent it was great to be welcomed at reception by a smiling face and informative receptionist. We stayed 7 nights and can not fault the villa or park facilities for the kids. Great variety for all ages also which at most places are hard to come by. My partner and I were a little disappointed by the cafe unfortunately though. For the price we paid for the meals we received after an hour of waiting, observing the cook disagree with a number of customers about their orders and rolling her eyes was not pleasant sadly. However with that said we would return to the park again and will do so in 6 months. Thank you for making our first family holiday so great. :)

Nice, clean cabins with comfortable beds. The resort has any kind of facility and entertainment you can think to keep your family and kids busy: pools with slides, free movie nights, jumping cushions and lots more. It also has a very nice and affordable restaurant. My family had an amazing time and I would recommend it 100%.

Sensational holiday site! There was no shortage of activities for the kids. The cabin we stayed in was modern and very clean. The restaurant served good quality food and the staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly and very helpful with any and all enquiries we had. I will definitely go back there in the future!

If they offer you 10 percent off to get you to book immediately don't do it. They will place you next to the dump zone and workshop which is a long way from the ammenties. Also the power supply was broken one of their pools is closed. The shop and cafe are closed. Oh if you ask to move, they'll tell you their full even if there is empty sites around you. The ice cold heated pool. Big sign saying its cooled in summer and heated in winter. Well its winter and the pool is freezing.

Just came here for a quick afternoon and overnight for an early flight out of Cairns. Kids ran themselves silly. Clean tidy and plenty for the kids to do. Staff were very helpful with any enquiries that we did have.

A very friendly and family feature packed holiday park. The sites are excellent, the facilities are plentiful and very clean. The pools, activities and spaces are all brilliant.

Ensuite caravan site. At night even though it was close to a main road it was very quiet. You could spend the whole week there without going out. Great hosts! Funny sign…

Great facilities, excellent kid parks and pools. Heaps of activities for adults and kids each day. Be alert though not to leave belongings out in sight as there may be light fingered guests as my son's iPhone was stolen on the last night from our site.

This is an excellent place for everyone. One of the best parks I have been too. Everything is clean and heaps to do for the kid's.

This place is amazing. It is probably ols but the take really good care of it apparently and the results are stunning. The grassy areas are really well maintained and great for tents. Hot tubs pools kids area and am open air cinema… probably one of the best places to stay in cairns. The amenities were spotless and also looks like new vanity has been recently installed. We booked a tour to the Great barrier reef directly from the brochures they had in the reception. Definately will recommend and will come back of I get the chance.

One of the cleanest, interactive Holiday Parks we have had the pleasure of staying in. Friendly Staff. Almost pristine amenities and plenty to do especially for the children.

Had a blast. We were I a villaspa and it was great. We were located just a short walk to the sun lagoon pool. They have many things happening every day of the week with an outdoor cinema every night. Highly recommend this place for a holiday or just a weekend escape.

60$ foot to nights powered with reservation Huge camping site. Made for family holidays. Very safe. Lavatory is clean and new. Stuff is friendly. Wi-Fi doesn’t work 2 days in a row, but you only get 150mb every 24h. Place is quite, but lanterns are always on and bright.

Great accomodation for families. Great facilities including pool, water slide and jumping pillow. Facilities include cafe and small store. Would like to see reinvestment into the part with updated facilities.

The Facilities here are awesome. The Staff take great care to make sure everything is working in a safe manner so that your stay here is not interrupted by the little things.

Award winning and deservedly so, great place for a family getaway. Jumping pillows, playground, 2 pools and recreation room, however the resort is looking a little tired in places. New owners are in the process of giving the resort a much needed face lift. Some parts of the play equipment and play areas are very worn and in some instances not working. At the time of this review (4.12.17) the kids waterpark is under full refurbishment with inflatable waterslides the alternative offering. Camp sites are good, most powered and soft ground. Camp kitchen facilities excellent, there's even a free herb garden. Cabins good as are the condos but can be costly.

Fantastic upscale resort/caravan park with heaps of fun stuff for the kids to do. The staff are all very friendly and efficient nothing is too much trouble. The cabins are well designed and very clean. Overall great.

Great stay. Very good for kids. However, do not come here if you don't have children. Kids are eveywhere. We almost hit one.

Great place for families, heaps of activities to keep the kids busy and out of mum and dad's hair. Two jumping pillows, a waterpark, playgrounds and pools, walking/riding tracks… the list goes on. Plenty of accommodation options for every budget — we stayed in the family cabins right next to the playground and the kids loved the location where they could play/swim/jump/ride to their hearts content. Not the quiet getaway most parents need, but a great fun-filled location for kids and families. Located about 15mins south of Cairns City. Lots of takeaway and dining options within 5 minutes drive.

Bucket loads of stuff for my kids to do, we loved the pools, the water park, the playgrounds, the pizza from the cafe, I appreciated the gym and we enjoyed exploring and wandering around. Our site wasn't so great, plenty of empty powered sites but we got placed in what was commonly used as a thoroughfare, with people running through our site and making noise by our tent whilst my kids tried to sleep at night. Staff, while not being rude, weren't overly friendly. Would have appreciated some more time explaining things to us on arrival. All in all, the good most definitely outweighed the annoyances, would recommend.

Its a great place for the family if you like water parks. Has lots of activities great facilities and really friendly staff. Small shop & a restaurant (casual). Laundry is cheaper than others in the area. Cabins are really neat and recommended. Free bbqs. Free movies just abt every night. Even fuel pumps for customers. Well thought out park.

The cabins are very comfortable, clean, have everything you need. Definitely the best place to stay we will definitely be coming back and highly recommending to everyone.

Fantastic! Totally exceeded all expectations, this came from the moment of arrival and being taken on a tour of the park showing all what the resort has to offer, to the day of departure receiving complimentary sweets! During our stay, I called upon the assistance of booking a day tour out to Green Island and with this I'd like to extend a huge thankyou to trainee 'Amber' from reception who was outstanding with the professional service she provided in securing a last minute booking and giving a lot of great advice in making our trip enjoyable. Although the park was near capacity, all facilities (including showers/toilets) were kept amazingly clean. Wish we could have stayed longer! … Well done to all staff!

A great family holiday. We took ourr 4 and 6 year old boys to Coconut and we had a ball. We stayed in a luxury 2 bedroom Villa and I would have to say it was probably the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in lots! Very comfortable. Loved the barbie on the deck. The grounds were kept immaculate and as soon a palm leaf fell, someone would be cleaning it up! Pool areas cleaned daily and so well presented. Staff could not be any friendlier. Lots of fun things to do. Loved the water park. I think mum was of the biggest kids there! My 4 year old still has his orange wrist band on and refuses to take it off. Tells all his kindy friends "This is from when we stayed at Coconut" Look forward to returning someday soon. Credit to you all.

It was the best holidaypark we visit. Very friendly staff. For the beginnig You get a tour throuh the park with a golfcar. There is a minimart with some food, a dinner with good food. Big playground, jumping pillows, tennis, mini golf, playground for the very small kids, 2 different Swimmingpools and a waterplayground, every evening a outdoor cinema a small gym. … everything you need is there.

Fantastic park with exceptional facilities for quests to enjoy. Loved the super large adults only spa and the fantastic pools. Also enjoyed a couple of meals in the parks café which were great. Our accommodation was spotless, as was the park in general. Thanks for a great holiday.

After finding our accommadation not siutable due to knee operation, staff went out of their way to move us to a better option and at no extra cost. Best park on our travels, so clean and such friendly staff, Cafe there was excellent especially chicken parma and pizza. Yum. Recommend to our friends heading that way. Thanks.

Great park; gardens beautiful with lots of green grass and tropical plants. Several swimming pools and adult only spa and cafe and shop on site were added bonuses. Pizza from the cafe was well priced and came with lots of topping; this was a favourite with my husband! Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant just brillant! We had an absolute blast, the kids didn't want to go sightseeing as they didn't want to leave the park. The pools, adult spa, mini golf, playground, jumping pillows, bike/carts, so much to do. The staff were fabulous nothing was too much trouble you can tell they love their jobs. The biggest surprise was the food from the Café easily one of the best meals we had! We ate at some fabulous places whilst in Cairns but the resort Café was up with the best. Thank you so much we will be back.

Fantastic experience and amazingly friendly, patient and helpful staff all the time — from our initial welcome, to random hellos as staff buzz around the park about their business, to my 8yr son wanting to change helmets 3 or 4 time in the hour while hiring trikes everyday of our stay, tour bookings, general enquiries and the smiles and conversations during Thursdays pancake breakfast. Very clean and tidy park and great facilities. I would definitely stay again!

Amazing facilities and so much for kids to do in an extremely clean and safe environment. Our villa was fanastic and had all the necessities needed for our holiday. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Coconut Holiday Resort for all holiday makers travelling to Cairns.

The park is gigantic and I don't know how it is when it is full. We spent some days there in February when there weren't so many people. The location and the way the park is structured are great. There is a lot of green and there are no less than three pools! One of them is specially designed for children which is great because it means that adults can use one of the other pools without too much noise and running about. We had a fabulous ensuite site with a big bathroom which was very clean. As we wanted to have a look before booking a lady offered us a tour with the park cart and showed us around and gave us a choice of the sites that were available. We felt very well taken care of and we had a great time.

Stayed here for two weeks, complained once about other guests leaving the toilets dirty and got told not to be abusive towards guests, would not recommend this caravan park to my worst enemy. Pathetic with dealing with complaints.

Absolutely brilliant. Every 1 or 2 years me and my family come and we have a blast every time. 2 massive jumping pillows that the old and young can enjoy, 2 massive pools with amazing slides, a minigolf course, a waterpark and many many more. This place is perfect for time off. No wonder this place have been voted best resort in Australia 6 years in a row.

Great place to stay! Clean modern amenities, well maintained camp sites and plenty for families to do! Very freiendly and helpful staff. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We love this place. Have been there four times over the last six years with our kids. They love the pools, water park and jumping pillow. We love the great facilities and friendly staff.

AMAZING! BLOWN AWAY (not literally though)! Voted best park in AUS 6 times. Do you need to know anymore? Yes? Ok, well the grounds are spotless, amazingly manicured grass and garden areas, great showers/toilet block (showers that actually have great pressure, so you can wash your hair — even in a rush), 2 giant jumping pillows, 2 pools, gym, basketball, tennis, water park, cafe, shop, fuel, table tennis, other recreational games (lots of them), Wi-Fi in designated spots, FREE PANCAKES every Thursday morning, amazingly friendly staff who would go out of their way for absolutely ANYTHING! I felt extremely safe at all times. Only 10ish minutes drive to the town centre (if you needed to go there). We absolutely loved it (2 adults) and wanted to stay for longer but just couldn't due to time restraints. Definitely stay, I highly doubt you will be at all disappointed, and if you are travelling with Kids, then this is definitely your best option by a mile. Enjoy :).

We stayed here with the kids (all 5 of them aged 5yrs-16yrs) in a sun lagoon condo and it was one of the best holidays we have had. There is so much stuff to keep the kids busy while we just kicked back on our massive deck and had a few quiet beers. Definitely recommend this place for larger families.

What a great place to visit, great staff, plenty to do and affordable for all budgets, we will be back.

We absolutely loved this place. It had everything u need to have a relaxing holiday with the family. The jumping pillows were awesome and great fun for all ages. My son loved the waterpark playground. The staff were terrific and very helpful and the cabins outstanding. I recommend this to all ages.
