Great venue and awesome atmosphere. Easy parking. Staff would have to be best I've ever encounted in 40+ years of regularly attending gigs. Great communication. Had tickets to a show that due to covid restrictions easing could increase capacity. Staff rang everyone and moved seats forward so retained our front row. Show was then resceduled and once again received a phone call advising of change and new tickets. Similar situations at multiple other venues was not handled with same thought for patrons and seats were added in front and I didn't find out until arrival. Staff have gone above and beyond and incredibly professional. Extremely impressed and will be a regular.

So dissapointed in paid parking at Powerhouse markets from this Saturday.
They say “
Funds generated from the car park will enable Brisbane Powerhouse to continue to support a thriving arts and creative scene in Brisbane. ”
I say — While I acknowledge that the arts precinct has taken a hit, as many others have too, but have you considered the artisans at the market? This move is not supporting the market creative scene AT ALL!
The small arts and crafts vendors will not have the lingering slow moving traffic that markets promote. Now we will approach it more like a supermarket get what is needed and get out again.
The food vendors who pour love into their dishes and coffee makers will now miss out as we will no longer be able to afford to sit over a leisurely breakfast.
If you need to have paid parking there — would you consider free parking on Saturday morning or at least push payment from 30 mins to 3 hrs before charging.
If parking charges are not relaxed our family tradition of over 6 years will be over at the Powerhouse and we will no longer consider going to shows there as before, many that have been booked because of promotions we saw on-site.
Very disappointed in this money grabbing decision.

Super cramped seating layout. Was the most uncomfortable experience and couldn’t enjoy watching Lano and Woodley. This really needs fixing.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and love this place. I’m not sure about previous property managers but Phoenix and her brother are amazing.

Side splittingly funny show, haven't laughed out loud for such a long time. Definitely recommend the Lano and Woodley show 'Fly' :)

I rented there for almost 2 years. The location is good. It's unfortunate the building managers are not so. They don't service what is their responsibility and don't answer phone call or email. You can drag a problem they caused for weeks. Several other tenants told me various situations. They are not exactly clear with money either, and charge anything they can (even things you'd exept to be free, also they don't display prices). I actually believe they make up prices on the spot, ahaha so dodgy in retrospective.

On the face of it, friendly and welcoming. The truth is rather different: At the end of a six month lease the 'concierge' (in Brisbane these people are referred to as 'On-site Managers') become prickly and unhelpful with scary attitudes toward their clients. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to move even the smallest of furniture through the front foyer. There, you will be met with foot-soldiers who will block your exit points and deny you any joy of vacating the premises. Better yet, if all else fails, they will call the police! Nasty.
