Hidden Valley Cabins

The family was incredibly welcoming. The rooms themselves were clean. The animals on ground also were amazing. The entire thing is extremely sustainable. The fruit provided for breakfast were fresh, as they were grown in ground. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and due to that, I was able to see a platypus.

Absolutely amazing location to take the family for a short early week visit. Massive thanks for a great trip (no pics as we totally enjoyed disconnecting! )

Our stay at Hidden Valley Cabins was amazing. Sonia, Steve and their lovely family were fantastic hosts who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The deluxe cabins were spacious and comfortable. The rainforest tours were incredible and packed with fascinating insights from our knowledgeable guide. And the food was absolutely delicious! The surrounding nature and starry nights made it a perfect getaway from all your troubles. It is truely a peaceful escape where you can just unwind, disconnect and breathe.

Amazing stay at Hidden Valley. The deluxe cabins had everything you need, comfortable, felt private and gorgeous views. Sonia, Steve & family are so accommodating. It was a great digital detox and a chance to reconnect with nature. The food was great too!

We had a fantastic long weekend at Hidden Valley Cabins. Steve, Sonia, Tahlia, and Kurt were incredible hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home. Their home-cooked meals were delicious. They even went the extra mile to take us to Turtle Beach, a nearby swimming spot, which was perfect for cooling down. At night, it was so dark that we could see countless stars, which was a nice experience. The peaceful surroundings provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

What a great ladies night out! Started with a walk with some champagne. Then pizza, cocktails and vase glass painting. The next day was a huge breakfast followed by high tea at ivy cottage! So much fun, heaps of time to catch up with your pals. A family run business. A great experience.

We went to a mother daughter retreat last weekend. It was beyond amazing. My 2 daughters and myself have never experienced anything so special. Rain on a tin roof, yoga (my first time) was incredible, paint n sip by the fire with wildfire pizzas, beauty and essence workshops, kyacking on the river and that’s just some of the things. I cannot speak highly enough. Will not be our only retreat xxx.

Had the most wholesome weekend away with my daughter at the Hidden Valley Cabins Mother & Daughter retreat. We’re still buzzing! From hiking to being pampered and loosing ourselves in the ambiance of night time yoga whilst meeting other mums & daughters, everything was perfectly curated. Highly recommend for a meaningful weekend away. Only negative is we wished we stayed an extra night.

By far the highlight was the Platypus tour with Kurt — very knowledgeable and we got to see 5-6 platypus in their natural environment. Very special.

What a fantastic family owned business. The tours and accommodations were both wonderful. Kurt and Tahlia were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I can’t recommend taking a trip out to Hidden Valley enough.

Seeing a platypus in the wild is an exceptionally rare and remarkable experience.

Just returned from an overnight stay at Hidden Valley Cabins. What a great getaway! Tucked amongst native forest, the rustic cabins were a treat to stay in. We enjoyed the provided catering — superb breakfast, dinner and lunch.
The visit was topped with a tour to Running River Gorge. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Thank you Kurt and Tahlia, Steve and Sonia.
There were many highlights, but enjoying a hearty meal under the stars while sitting by the fireplace was the icing on the chocolate cake.
