Ocean Beach Hideaway

The cabin was old but offered comfortable nights sleep with the location making up for lost luxuries.
Loved the online check in and did not need to see anyone to check out either. The wildlife was awesome, fed the magpies, crows and friendly kookaburra out of our hand so take meal worms not human food for wildlife. Kangaroos too, Mum and Joey visited us.
Close walk to dog friendly Beach.
And not to far too town either. Local attractions beautiful.
Would stay again because of locality, space and wild life.

Cabin was in need of maintenance. Stove stopped working. Floors a bit dirty. Bathroom very small… overflow drain direct to outside!
Nice area close to lagoon. Very basic.

We had a lovely stay in cabin 3. The view from the deck was nice, got to look out at the ducks with a cup of tea and our breakfast. It was nice and clean had all the basics bits and bobs you need including a 2 burner bbq. Would recommend for a couples holiday the owners seems friendly and some nice beaches in the area thank you for having us Jordan and Aideen.

Location was really nice for the property and quiet, unfortunately that's where the positives end. The couches were dirty with sand and food under the cushions. Property needs a deep clean. We opened the cupboards to find rodent faeces in them. I'd would not recommend this facility to anyone it was well below standards of living. The taps in the showers were faulty and the seal at the top of the shower needs replacing. Would not stay here again.

Stayed at ocean beach hideaway from the 4th to the 9th of march 2024 we had cabin 3 it was very clean and tidy yer the bathroom was on the small side but it all worked the owners Paul and Sandra and family were very friendly its a lovely location nice and quite and peaceful lots of wild life mummy kangaroo n baby were so cute and all the bird life close to the beaches and town we really enjoyed our stay.

Cabin 1needs a thorough clean and lots of maintenance.
Nice location though.
Wouldnt recommend it until maintenance has been done.

Spent 3 nights here with my son and 1yr old grand daughter Absolutely loved it so clean, comfortable Great position off the road tucked away.

What a beautiful place… the ground's were well maintained. The self contained cabin's had everything needed. The place was nice and clean and the owner's extremely friendly and welcoming. The location could not have been better along with the lively relaxing setting. Big verandah with a BBQ to unwind. I felt very comfortable and totally relaxed and will be going back again soon. Thanks.

With thanks to Sandra and Paul for allowing me to stay at their hideaway whilst I'm recovering from covid. I am in the caravan and it is so comfortable. All amenities available. Hot shower and clean rooms. I won't forget this place. Thanks again.

Nice location peaceful clean close to beach my preference is a softer bed and bigger shower but overall was a great stay great romantic couple getaway stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin was plenty enough for both of us. Nothing needed to bring pretty well supplied.

Awesome place, awesome family that run and own it, felt at home and had no worry in the world while we were there, Paul is a champ, great human, felt like family, kahea and jarra say gday and thanks heaps for being u!

We stayed here for a week beginning friday of Australia day weekend and had the best time, the challet was perfect just enough for a couple, plus my friend and his partner stayed on the bunk beds for 2 nights and had no complaints. The Andersons were great people and Paul went above and beyond for hospitality, made everything easy and made it feel like a home. From waking up to Kangaroos outside or fishing by the river within a short walk and beautiful beaches everywhere we couldnt have asked for an easier and better stay and will be planning to do the same again next year. Great place to stay, spacious surroundings.
Attention to detail lovely and clean.
We enjoyed the kangaroos ducks and magpies.
