The Motor Inn is positioned just a short drive or walk to the shops and beach at Coolangatta.
Also the Tweed Heads Bowls club is just across the road, for dinner and entertainment.
Family friendly.
Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Clean rooms with that extra attention, nice people operating the motor inn, great breakfast. Just had a swim in the pool. I would certainly recommend this place. A big thumbs up from me.

Mix up with our rooms and not notified… Payed for a room that we didn’t use No way would they give us a refund for the room not used … So un professional.

My partner and I had a pleasant stay here just last week, and we were comfortable and well looked after. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Will return sometime soon for sure.

Excellent service and value for money! This is an older style motel that has been carefully renovated. Our room was spacious with a well equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed and reasonable bathroom. There was milk in the fridge and Greg, the host had supplied us with cheese and biscuits. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic — a selection of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, bread (including delicious fruit bread), juice, coffee and tea. Most of the other guests were repeat visitors — which speaks volumes about Greg and his attentive service. The motel was in a really good location and was excellent value for money.

Fantastic proprietors — friendly and fun, and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Room was lovely and clean, and the cheese and bikkies are a bonus, as is the fresh milk for tea and coffee. Continental breakfast is a great innovation (included in the price of the room) and gives everyone a chance to chat, and give cheek to the owner :D Close to amenities, clubs and shops. In other words — great place to stay and we'll be going back for a longer stay.

Excellent value for money and spectacularly clean and fresh. The Continental breakfast is a tasty and unexpected treat. The cheese and biscuits in the fridge also add a nice touch. The owners are genuinely welcoming and happily show they want your business. Nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Close to all amenities, there for a 50 + plus school re-union at Twin Towns RSL. The great friendly service from management added to a very pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners couldn't do enough for you. They were the nicest people you could ever meet. We were picked up from the airport and also driven to Coolangatta when we left. Breakfast was a bonus also. I highly recommend this place.

The staff are courteous and helpful and the rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable. The hotel is situated very close to everything in coolangatta and tweed heads.

Amazing little suprise. Deceivingly understated exterior but has clean and modern interiors and super accommodating hosts. Highly recommend and personally can't wait to come back.

A wonderful location, beautiful tidy rooms cleaned daily, with air conditioning, TV, plenty of power plugs, comfy couches, a shower with strong water pressure, and large study areas if you need it. Truely a magnificent experience as all the staff were so happy to go above and beyond for their tenants. They would prepare breakfast free of charge every day, and even gave me breakfast the night before if I was leaving early (as the breakfast room opens at 0730). 10/10 place, Greg, Sue, Elka and the team will make your stay as pleasant as humanly possible.

I stayed at the Tweed Harbour Motor Inn for a conference last year, and Greg & Sue went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I was able to park my car there for a few hours before checking in, and Greg went out of his way to give me a lift to my conference and a ride home. They even set out the breakfast earlier than usual for me so that I could get to the conference on time the next day. I would absolutely recommend this inn to anyone looking to stay in the Twin Towns.

Greg & Sue were very kind & helpful to me as I was there to visit my mother in nearby hospital. Accommodation was clean comfortable and close to everything. Housekeeping staff were also friendly and helpful.

Just stayed for 2 nights with 1000% hospitality from Sue and Greg. Thank you again for an awesome stay. Spotlessly clean and beds are so comfy. Sue and Greg bent over backwards for us — including giving us their car park. Our kids loved your pool and thanks for looking after my Dad. Continental breakfast every morning was fab too. This was our 2nd stay within a year. Previously I had stayed here with my parents 20 odd years ago. So many memories are at this motel. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Love this cute little motel, rates are very affordable walking distance to bowling club and shopping mall. People who own motel make you very welcome. Highly recommend.

This is the best drive up motel I’ve stayed in. It’s an older building, but the rooms are very clean and the managers have paid a lot of attention to detail. Love the little extra touches like the cheese and biscuits and the decorations. Really nice hosts too.

What can I say, lovely service and very friendly owners. Clean and spacious rooms with ac and great amenities. Helped me with my bags, suggested local restaurants and even went as far as to ask if I needed a lift anywhere in the morning. Absolutely top service, can't wait to stay again soon!

Real Aussie hospitality from the word go, greeted with a warm welcome by Sue and Greg the owners. Treats in the room that others do not offer, cheese and biscuits, and real milk. The breakfast room has too much variety and choice to mention. This will definately be our motel when we travel through the Tweed. Try it you won't be disappointed.

This place saved me after Jetstar cancelled my afternoon flight as well as the replacement flight. Made a last minute booking around 9.30pm and checked in around 11pm. We called staff to let them know and they were able to accommodate late check in for us. The room was very clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. They had working air conditioning and complimentary toiletries and bottled water which was nice. The bathroom was clean and all facilities worked fine. We checked out early and simply dropped off the key. It was about 10 minutes by taxi to Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport which only cost about $15. Just need to remember the 1 hour time difference if you are getting a flight as it is in NSW. Overall great stay!

Most gracious and welcoming hosts that restored faith in the kindness of people beyond all expectations. Due to the tragic unexpected death of their father my children their partners and I flew to Coolangatta from Canberra to be at his funeral. Our hosts offer to pick us up from and bring us back to the airport was a special bonus and then the priveledge to have the use of one of their cars on the day of the funeral so we could all 5 leave together and come back to the motel together after the wake held at Fingal Head was a godsend. As the motel has a lovely location by the harbour and our 2 family rooms were beautifully set up we had all we needed for our short stay to be specially memorable.

Fantastic help from Greg who helped with rooms on short notice would def recommend this place when staying in tweed. The staff make all the difference.
