Location, Location, Location! A great cafe literally on the doorstep. Beautiful, clean beach across the road and Surfclub. Smack bang in the centre of the restaurant, pub, club, cafes and boutique shopping hub.

Received a text message instructing us to check in at 2pm. The room was not ready but we were able to check in an hour later but unfortunately the floors were still wet, cleaning equipment left in the room, towels not folded and mop left to dry in verandah area. The spa did not work and the phone in our apartment for reception was not connected whilst the air con was unreliable and worked at random times. Later, we experienced the poor organisation of management and had a mix up with our booking. Also, not impressed with having to pay additional parking fee on top of large costs to hire apartment. Parking should be included and more awareness to this additional fee needs to be shared with future guests. For the amount you are paying to stay here, better care and organisation is required and most importantly, maintenance also!

Rooms were filthy, do not recommend.

We had an amazing stay here, the staff were amazing and the view was the best. Had top floor beachside spa unit and loved every minute of it.

Charged extra for parking but there is no allotted parking and had to park on the street, checked in well after check in time to old style dirty unit with cleaning products mop ect left in our room would not recommend at all over priced for what it is stayed in cleaner better backpackers.

Great location close to everything, beach across the Rd good coffee shop right in front of appartments. Lots of nice restaurants close by. Everything within walking distance. Appartments were very spacious and comfortable, great having the heated pool and spa. The only down fall is the parking — we were NOT informed we would be charge $20 a night to park in the basement when we were quoted over the phone! There were plenty of free parking spaces around. (Might be different in peak season! )

Well when we arrived they said our room wasn't ready, so we went for a walk and did some shopping. I had booked a ground floor apartment and they upgraded us to a 2nd floor. Anyway when we got into our room which was nearly 3.00 o'clock the floors were wet. Then we had the maintenance guy in who said the washing machine wasn't working, he made a mess with the floor being wet. The apartment is not cleaned properly, there were bulbs blown in 3 areas, they had to send someone up to replace them. There is gouges in the floor tiles and the blind in the main bedroom has tears in it. So much for garden views in room 347 it looks out to a very busy and noisy street. If you want to be up at the crack of dawn it's not a good room. Reception rang to say our room was ready after us being in for two days. I would not book this resort again. And the wi fi is terrible.

I love Paradiso Resort. The staff were extremely friendly and assisted me with my every need. Absolutely loved sitting in my rooftop jacuzzi watching the waves roll in. All the amenities literally at my doorstep was a huge plus and incentive to visit again too! Such a prime location. Thank you Paradiso I will be back again soon!

I stayed here a few weeks ago with my partner, it was incredible. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were some of the best I've ever met. As a coffee lover my self it was great having great coffee within 50 Meters of our door step, and then just crossing the road, to drink it on the beach and I had an amazing nights sleep every night on those incredible beds.

The two bedroom apartment was huge! It also had two bathrooms which was an added bonus. The air con/heating seemed to cut on and off which was a bit annoying… It was difficult to stay warm on the leather lounge in the living area. Austar wouldn’t work and no instructions could be found. I found my queen bed super comfortable and warm! The pull down shade in the main bedroom had slits in it and let some light in. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms didn’t seem to really suck up any steam from the shower. The first day we arrived the pool area was having some repairs done but that’s all good as it was too wet, cold and rainy that day to really use it. Gym was a massive let down… barely any equipment in there! Plus no air or tv/music… nothing. Found a bit of damage in the room, like a gauge into the French doors of the study and the wood was splintered. Also got a free rock in the main bedroom on the floor … yes a rock… still trying to figure that one out! Haha. The hotel was not bad value for what we paid ($310 for 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment for two nights), and the staff were lovely and friendly. Very central to the main drag of Kingscliff with shops, cafes, beauty parlours and the local hotel and surf club all in close walking distance. Not to mention the beautiful beach across the road! I would stay again based on the lovely staff, location and price but some repairs are definitely required.

Everything you need or want here… whales splashing off the coast… tropical lightning storm… great terrace to sit in the hot tub and take in the view… magical Kingscliff!

Friendly staff with spacious. Well appointed self contained rooms. Close to shops and beach.

Superb location. Well appointed appartments with good facilities and amenities. Friendly and helpful front office staff. Cleaners could probably do a better job since the couch had sand on it from previous guest and the bathroom had mould.

We stayed in a three room apartment. One room has barely any privacy and no windows. The other two are overlooking a courtyard. Sound insulation is poor. The cushions outside are dirty. A lot of weird solutions internally. Many rooms are overlooking a shady courtyard. The pool is permanently in shade as well. Not thrilling.

Paradiso's location is absolutely top notch, right across from a lovely park and the beach. Staff are also really lovely and helpful. The rooms themselves are in need of some TLC as some things are tired and/or broken. Our broader group took up 3 rooms and there were issues in all, including a room not being recently dusted, a room which hasn't yet been clean (bed slept in, dishes on the counter), and a room that only had 3 bowls (in a 3br apt).

Great location. Totally enjoyed our stay people were kind and polite they did have workers around the resort but that's normal considering they had renovations going on around the place but it wasn't at all inconvenient. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and beds were also comfy. We were short of linen but staff quickly rectified and were very apologetic. Only negative I have is the stcky circle marks on the bedside tables in the rooms and fridge not wiped out clean had crumbs inside but those are just minor things. Definitely love the place and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful being our first trip out of New Zealand. And to Kings cliff❤ would definitely return again and tell our friends and family beautiful place with beautiful people❤

Nice/good location. Ground floor units not recommended as very dark, not sure about upstairs apartments. House keeping leaves a lot to be desired ie food found in oven on arrival, dirty pillow cases, drain in shower blocked with hair. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location, cheaper room did have issues with lights not working or shorting out, strange set up — 2 brm unit very dark, no sunshine in it at all. A bit short on blankets for the winter nights! Limited front desk staff most of the time?
Just needs some time & love spent on units in the cheaper price bracket.

Nice size room. Beautiful ocean views. It's in a quiet area everything within a few minutes walk. Woollies, bottle shop, chemists, restaurants, cinema and heaps of cafes. Have not needed the car yet.

1. Apartment wasn't really clean. Couches were wet and sandy. 2. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. 3. Floors weren't cleaned. 4. No towel replacements. (I don't know anyone who uses a towel 7 days in a row. Not saying my family and I did but there were no replacements we were simply told to wash them. ) 5. First resort I've been too that rooms aren't serviced. Only nice things I could like of was the entrance to the rooms are pretty cool. And the staff are really friendly.

We loved our stay at the Paradiso, however with every place you go there are always pros and cons. We arrived at check in time to have workers in and out of our apartment fixing the roof, which staff were very apologetic for the inconvenience and we were given a bottle of champagne. Then a maintenance guy told us the private spa was broken. But said it’s warm enough to use until they fix it. There were no face washers provided, holes in two of the towels provided and no plug for the bath in the ensuite. Both bathroom doors did not lock. Maybe an option to have when booking the rooftop spa to provide a gate across the stairs if staying with little children (peace of mind for the parents). We were unable to relax and take in the amazing atmosphere with little ones attempting to climb up the stairs. But on the other hand, great location straight across from the beach. Amazing cafes below the resort. Within walking distance to Woolworths. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful view from the balcony. Rather quite considering construction work across the road at current. We were also allowed to park a second vehicle in the secured car park (due to availability). All in all, the Paradiso was a lovely resort to spend our wedding anniversary at.

Located on the esplanade at Kingscliff. There is a nice gelato ship at the front.

Love the friendly service. Room is great with well appointed kitchen. Actually had books and DVD's as well. Very nice!

Spa was excellent, good cold air conditioning, one bedroom apartment can easily sleep 4. Good Central location in Kingscliff. Free Wi-Fi.

A great place to come to and relax and unwind. The beach is across the road with surf Life savers on patrol. The water is clear. The resort has a relaxing pool, spa, sauna and gym. The sauna and gym were not available when we arrived but nothing was mentioned at the time of booking. Staff on the front desk were helpful. Overall, I would recommend my stay.

Great location for a girls night. Opposite the beach, quiet a large apartment and seemed clean. Great views on rooftop. Decor was Devine and beachey. Easy access to walk to the beer garden, and then shuttle to salt kingcliffe which was a bonus. Things I feel could be considered in changing:
Put a cover over the spa, and make sure it is hot when arriving. Disappointed that we could all
Not go in. Ashtrays! They should be supplied outside. Soap. There was none in the toilets. Garbage bins — located in the carpark is extremely hard to walk down, and for someone short. Extremely hard to put a massive bag in. It should be included in the price you charge. Apart from that, our girls night was a success, and had a blast! The staff were kind. Thank you.

The room was really dirty, there was water coming through the roof and pooling in the ceiling so wet patches were appearing on the ceiling lining, no tea or coffee, bed was uncomfortable and the place needs some serious money spent on it to bring it up to standard. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and apartments.

Found shit in the toilet, pubes & used soap bars in the shower, gum on the walls all within the first 15 minutes of entering this "resort".
Couldn't bring myself to even touch the smelly, stained couch or even sleep on the bedding!
Have raised the issues with management, they do not return phone calls at all.
Pathetic waste of money 11/10 do not recommend. You would find better service and cleanliness at a backpackers.

Love Kingscliff this is our third visit. Booking was a nightmare numerous emails telephone calls and they still couldn’t get our booking right. Very disappointing.

Started out being told our room was ready, but when we got in found out it hadnt been. The staff were very apologetic and got straight into it and also gave us a free bottle of bubbles for our inconvenience. Apart from that the apartment is amazing and well equipped. The location is second to none with the beach straight across the road and right in amongst cafes and shops, close to everything and I would recommend it to family and friends.

The unit was awesome however it was so so dirty… there were tags from clothing behind the beds, toe nail clippings on the veranda which looked like it had not been swept in a week, the shower floor was dirty, hand marks all over the kitchen cupboards. I was there for 3 nights but after the first night I woke up sick with the flu, I truly believe it was caused from the unit being so dirty. A shame because the location and unit itself was really nice.

This is our fourth stay at Paradiso and it just gets better. Karen and the front desk staff couldn't be more helpful and the apartments are large, spotless, beautifully appointed with the deluxe versions having great ocean views. You walk out the door and you're in the heart of Kingscliff and across the road from the Surf Club. Looking forward to visit no 5!

Position is great being opposite the beach and with multiple cafes and hotel options available for dinning. Although the unit was well equipped and generally clean, the soft furnishings were showing heavy signs of wear and tear and could do with replacing. The swimming pool when we arrived was green and in our opinion unfit for swimming, it's a shame because the outside temp for the few days we were there was over 30 degrees and it would have been a good alternative over the beach which had a strong onshore northerly blowing 3-4 days running. We mentioned it to the staff on our second day but the reply was "it's good but we'll get it looked at". Unfortunately that didn't happen until a couple of days later and given it was during peak holiday period, we felt it wasn't good enough. In addition, the 2 split system aircon units were insufficient for the size of the unit and struggled to make it just bearable during daylight hours. As I said great position but given the high season Christmas / New Year rates being charged, they could do better for what they call a 4 star resort… not sure if we'd go back.

Great location, friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. The pool area is a little small, however you are acros the road from the beach.
