I can’t express enough just how fabulous our stay was over the Easter break, we were upgraded from the start, hospitality was amazing, food was so good, the staff friendly, the day spa experience was a highlight, the exceptional turn down service and the beautiful thoughtful gifts left on our last night topped it off as a fantastic birthday weekend spoil, Thank you HH.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience at the spa. We were greeted by a lovely staff member and taken through to the change area. We were able to relax in the steam room first before our treatment. The massage I had with Brooke was amazing. Everything was perfect from the waiting area, treatment room and the massage was fabulous. Not to mention we had delicious cocktails before and after and some bar snacks. The Halcyon Dayz cocktail was so good. ‍♀️

Everything about Halcyon is Perfect!
It’s like being at a friends beach house, except you get to be left alone to have your privacy, while there is a well trained team of friendly staff available for your ever whim! Did I mention the stylish ambience from front entry, Paper Daisy restaurant, guest rooms & facilities. The food is creative, delicious & healthy all the way from breakfast to dinner. We will return.

The restaurant was beyond disappointing last night. We dined there several times when there was another chef. This new chef isn’t up to the job. Get rid of him. Also, the Wednesday evening restaurant manager was rude. Not going back until you announce a new chef and better menu.

Rude, unfriendly and inhospitable. We decided to pop in and have morning tea to get a feel for the place and consider it as an option for our upcoming wedding reception as well as some corporate events. We arrived at 11.45, before lunch, the woman serving us today didn’t even smile and if anything look confused as to why we would be there, we felt like we were in her way and that we should know she was setting up for lunch. … She said we could have coffee at the bar. When she took our order she rolled her as as she walked away which I don’t think she think we noticed. Seriously overrated for ‘best hotel in the world’ award. I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels globally and never had such a cold reception in my life. You lost a lot in sales from me today, and even more referrals.

Beautiful quiet place smack bang on the beach. Restaurant over looks the beach and rooms are uniquely furnished. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Food is Devine! A must for any traveller.

Great staff, excellent food all done in a beautifully renovated motel. The rooms are lovely and the whole mini bar is complimentary! Situated at Cabrita beach, about 45mins drive from Suffers Paradise. The beach is out the back and an adequate pool in the grounds. Very nice for a weekend getaway.

As locals went to Paper Daisy for breakfast, nice food although not incredible or outstanding, and a friendly ok service, at $50 a head way too expensive for the wares they were peddling. Simple yet extravagantly priced to be worth it, because it is not at 'high quality hotel standard' and too pricey for a wonderful lush breakfast choice in a region bursting with better options at sensible pricing.

Well after following this luxury hotel on Instagram for a while. I booked a surprise wedding anniversary gift for hubby. The little details like our personal itinerary gave it that special touch
The interior decorations of Anna Spiro is exquisite. Our room and our dinner! Perfection. Thank you to the girls at reception who were superb and Simon is a legend finding us the perfect spot to dine. Xxxx.

This is a sweet place, backs on the Cabrita beach, fantastic food… lovely rooms and ok pool… staff couldn't have been nicer, and were so keen to help… it is expensive, but probably worth it for a getaway…

Very comfortable accommodation with lots of space and a balcony in the Superior room, food was amazing at Paper Daisy, staff were great, we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Spent 5 nights here at Christmas after spending 5 nights at Elements of Byron. If we had been here first, I think I would have enjoyed it more but as a hotel, Elements was so much nicer. I feel like this is all about Paper Daisy and the hotel is a side note. Rooms are nicely decorated but lack privacy. Our curtain was a pain to open and close and it had to be closed or people walking past along the beachside park or the pool could look straight in. There is a small lounge in the room, only suited for 1 person. There is a desk in the room, but no chair to sit at it. Also nowhere to sit and eat if you do order room service. Bathrooms are great as are the toiletries. Turn down service is great and the rooms are kept really clean. The pool is okay. Deck chairs could use some love but again, there's a lack of privacy between pool and restaurant. Food at Paper Daisy is okay, but just misses the mark. Dinners were nice with a few dishes being really nice and others mediocre. While they all looked great, flavours were a bit off on a few. Breakfast is a shambles and all the dishes need work. Sydney breakfasts are 10 times better in flavour, size and presentation. It was included in our rate but if I would never come here for breakfast alone. Had a massage at the spa which was great. Location is great, 50m walk to the water. Overall a good experience but some tweaks would make it great.

I haven't stayed here yet but the food & bar is great. Right next to the beach.

Tiny pippies (they were once the restaurant standout dish)

Amazing decor, menu and atmosphere. Super trendy and friendly. Service is slow though and we had some "VIPs" beside us who received everything before us which made you feel less special. However staff were nevertheless friendly. Would I return again? Yes!

Love love love this place! From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, I felt like the most important guest. I can not recommend Halcyon House and Paper Daisy highly enough. Also cant wait for the spa to open soon.

Awesome food that you'd expect from a hatted restaurant. Accomodation was fantastic. Bar staff were quite terrible… poor, slow service & unattentive… leaving several customers waiting to place orders. 2 ladies waited 30 minutes for 2 take away coffees on a sunday morning whilst we were there. Staff numbers need to be doubled… then trained!

Exquisite Interior Design. Stunning blends of blue of white. Perfect portion sized meals with delightful bursts of flavour. Highly recommended.

Most beautiful rooms and amazing service. Love the peaceful surroundings of waking up to fresh air. The small detail of welcome cards and personalise service makes for one very impressive stay. The decor is soothing to anyone's eyes. Sit on your balcony with a view to nature at it's best. Surf beaches, parks and the hotel pool is at your door step. Crisp linen and the best shower on the coast. Could stay there forever because the Halycon is not a house it's a home.

Great food, great staff, great location.

Incredible location, incredibly friendly staff, and an accommodation experience that left nothing wanting. Everything I experienced while staying at Halcyon with my wife appeared to be the result of a great deal of attention to detail and I would highly recommend it.

A very nice experience. A little overpriced for what we got. Our room was advertised with an open plan bathroom with automatic doors. Once we got there we realised that meant disabled friendly room, which would have been nice had the automatic doors worked. A very comfy bed gave us a well needed rest and friendly staff and great food gave us an overall positive experience.

From the moment you set foot till the moment you leave you are treated so well by all the staff, the rooms are very intimate and the food is some of the best I've had. Highly recommend to come and experience the pleasure of staying at one of the best small hotels I have stayed at.

Service — While friendly, was very average. Time between meals were up to hour each. Our 4 course meal took 4 hours to complete. Food — was fresh and we'll cooked but not up to the standards I would have expected being a fine dining restaurant. Wouldn't go back as there are plenty of other places like this with far better food and service for this price. Toilets were A+ though.

The service and food was exceptional. The best prawn dish I have ever had. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Brad for a great dining experience.
