Spotless, nights in the court yard are fantastic, with different activities each night, amazing staff always around if needed, free Wi-Fi plus Free breakfast in the morning I really don't want to leave :-P.

Fantastic hostel located right in the heart of Byron Bay! Perfect location to walk to the beach or anywhere else in the city. Great atmosphere and easy to meet people in the common areas.

Great place to stay. Very good location, good facilities such as hot tub and TV room.

The customer service was great! We didn't stay there, but we stopped there to take showers and store our luggage. Thanks so much for assisting us with our needs.

Hostel was seriously better than some hotels ive visited. It was very luxurious for the low price.

Nice spot, great hang out area with spa. There on a Monday night so nice and chill. Good for a night central location.

Really good location, staff are really friendly and helpful. It's a really chilled out place with a lot of activities to enjoy.

Stayed here for 2 nights. All the facilities are great. Toilets are clean, so is the kitchen and dining area. Good vibe, can very much feel the fun backpackers environment without it being too overbearing or too party-ish. Located right behind Aldi which is convenient. The information desk is always friendly and helpful. Keycard can be a bit tricky to use sometimes which can be annoying.

Great spot for meeting people from all round the world. Close enough to the beach. And right next to a liquor store.

Solid. Price-performance is good and the location is great.

Overall, it is a good hostel. Cool vibes and a quite relaxed atmosphere. Clean facilities and comfortable rooms. What I did not like is that you only have internet access if you are at the lobby, when you're in the rooms there is no signal; and if you want the internet ti reach your room you have to pay more.

We had an awesome stay and enjoyed how lively it was throughout the weekend. The music in the middle of the building was cool and the free homemade pizza rocked! Cheers.

Clean room, perfect location close to the beach, nice staff, breakfast in the morning, lift. It’s a big Hostel so sometimes noisy.

Such a good hostel. Would recommend to anyone heading to Byron. Near the beach and shops. The rooms are nice and cool with your own balcony. They have two jacuzzis which is a bonus but are too hot to go in when it’s 20+ degrees. Bed linen was so soft, slept so well. Kitchen was massive and had enough room for everyone. The breakfast was also good as it was included. The only reason for them not having 5 is that the jacuzzis are too hot in Australian heat and the keys didn’t work for the doors properly which meant we had to keep going down to reception.

It's a clean hostel with a very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. There is room for a lot of people, so you are sure to meet new people.

Kitchen was a little small and the Wi-Fi is a joke but otherwise it was pretty good.

Cheap for the service they offer. Free Brekki and nice evenings. It's very clean.

If you want to have a great time I definitely recommend this hostel. The room I stayed in was very clean and so was the kitchen… woop woop! What more can a girl ask for! They went above and beyond with their service from the moment I checked out until I had to sadly say goodbye. It's a very social hostel. There are awesome activities that are hosted throughout the week to help you meet more travelers. Mate! I'm coming back, watch for me:)

Amazing hostel, amazing position, fantastic facilities and cleaned services! Had a lovely stay in Nomads in Byron Bay! Hostel is super central and close to everything! Free brekko and activities every day!

Bleh. It is a party place, not a hostel. Drugs, alcohol, people banging at your door randomly, yelling and shouting at the inner square. I disliked this place a lot, however — the location is good, the bathrooms were relatively clean — but fyi — all bathrooms are unisex.

Nice clean rooms, free breakfast, good party atmosphere in the courtyard which sadly is only open until 10pm! Right next to two bottleshops and an Aldi, and just 5 mins walk to the beach.

Typical hostel. Dirty, loud, messy, but fun and sociable with events during the week. I stayed in a 10 — bed mixed dorm right next to the kitchen/common area so base my experience on that. Free breakfast is toast with various spreads, and cereal with full cream milk. Also tea/coffee.

King bed. Private bathroom. Small balcony. Private parking wat else can I say for last minute accommodation.

Me sister and I stayed in a king room and lived it the room was well present the staff are happy all the time and extremely helpful would recommend to everyone heading to Byron Bay.

Stayed in a king room. Nice and spacious, bathroom recently renovated and being in the corner it was quiet enough from the noisy backpackers. One of the most convenient locations in Byron.

I didn't really like this place! The first room where I stayed had a strong and disgusting smell of pee! There is some nice common area but they close at 10 pm… the staff isn't friendly. Common unisex toilet and shower. No breakfast included and for take the cups u have to pay. Anyway, good location.

The whole place was clean and modern with great location and facilities. It was great how they kept a daily board of what was on for the day so you never missed out on events in town or the hostel. The only downsides were that both spas were out of order.

Wanted to charge us more for the 6 of us purely because we knew eachother. They purposely split us up even though the 8 bed dorm half of us were in was empty. Also carpet was wet and mouldy through the whole dorm!

Best Nomads I have stayed in yet! The washrooms, kitchen and common areas were kept clean and felt comfortable to be in. The rooms were a good size with balcony's which allowed for good air flow.

It's location and great little spot for a quick stay. Kind of a mess with a good steam clean required throughout! But great staff that really make you feel welcomed.

Not the cleanest hostel, especially the floors in the rooms are really borderline… but overall it is good.

Nomads Byron Bay was a really nice facility with a great courtyard area and pretty big kitchen. The kitchen had many more utensils than regular hostels do so that was a plus. The TV room and reception area provided for really nice comfy areas to hang out. The rooms and bathrooms were great, actually some of the nicest and cleanest I've been in. My only complaint is the carpet in the whole hostel, it's very dirty and really needs to be replaced, maybe with tile rather than carpet. Overall a great experience and in the perfect location (middle of the city! )

Stayed in the 6 bed with ensuite. The air conditioning was an absolute godsend and the bathroom was really clean! there was even a small attached patio that had clotheslines perfect for drying our suits and towels. Definitely where I'll be staying for all my future byron bay trips!

The room was smelly and there were stains EVERYWHERE on the floor. We were told by the staff that it was "normal" for the carpets to have been pee'ed on. We complained about the smell numerous times but nothing was done about it. We weren't able to be moved as every room was booked. It seemed as though the room my friends and I were staying in hadn't been cleaned at all. Cleaning was three people coming in for about 20 seconds and picking up a few bits of rubbish then walking out. The curtains on the window was held on by a plastic rod and fell down almost instantly. The door didn't shut properly and we had to slam it VERY hard, otherwise it wouldn't shut and multiple times the door got stuck. The air con wasn't cold at all and we ended up sleeping with the back door WIDE open as it seems the outside air was cooler than the air conditioner itself. We complained about that too and nothing was done. Next time I go down to Byron, I'll pay extra and stay in a decent place.

Loved the vibe and the room temperature. The staff is outstanding. I also enjoyed toilet/shower are the same for both genders plus very handy to have the car park deal with a lift straight to the room level. I will definitely come back.

I enjoyed my stay, very fun and relaxed environment. The rooms were tidy. Will definitely be staying there again.

Nomads had an amazing vibe, our court yard was full every night (even with people from other hostels). The staff became our friends and kept us entertained with drinking games and acoustic guitar. If partying isnt your thing, the courtyard closed at 10, and the dorms were quiet and easy to sleep in. Everything was super clean, the bathrooms were tended to 2 times a day minimum, the beds were comfortable and the rooms remained pitch black. Im a very fussy traveler and I can not fault this place.

After staying in Arts Factory for 2 nights, this hostel was a major disappointment. The room had sick stains on the floor, the bathrooms were dirty, and the kitchen wasn't brilliant either. The staff were reasonably helpful, and the location of the hostel is good, but the overall atmosphere of the hostel made it an uncomfortable place to spend any more time in than necessary. Just to add to this — my feedback email had the message "Hi Joseph Edwards, please rate your stay" — seeing as I'm female and this does not resemble my name in the slightest, its just insult to injury really! All in all, I'd recommend trying one of the many other hostels in Byron!

Booked a 4-bed ensuite room but arrived to find I'd been given a 6-bed non ensuite room. The jacuzzis have not been in service for several months, so that's false advertising as it's a main feature. Carpet in the room was disgusting. Bathrooms were nice and modern. I enjoyed the craziness of this hostel, but some people wouldn't. Some rooms seem to be late night party rooms. Not worth $65 per night but in late December there's not many options for a solo traveller.

I'm a staff, and the Hostel is quite ok.

Super loud, dirty and several odors.
I arrived, I found a free bed and went for a shower, when I returned someone had taken my stuff from the bed and occupied my space.
I had to go to reception to get another bed and already with the distrust to the night of dinner and I find that my bed is occupied back.
I believe that the establishment is out of control by the people who manage it. The idea of "cool vibes" and "Relaxed" is good but if they charge you $40 for a bed in poor conditions, then minimally have the guarantee that this bed is mine.
