Staff were lovely. We stayed unexpectedly and they took it in their stride. They also provided us with an umbrella to help with the rain and an extra car park. It is also in a great location, very close to the main street.

Really comfortable bed. Only there for 1 night, so it more than served its purpose.

A ordinary motor lodge experience in most ways, except that I awoke to find a stain, appearing to be mould, on my pillow. The pillow must have been placed mouldy-side down on the bed as I had not noticed it the night before. I was disgusted! I brought it to the attention of the proprietor, but he seemed disinterested in assuaging my grievance. This is not an acceptable level of cleanliness.

It's a standard motor inn type motel. 80's decor bit it was clean and comfortable. And most importantly in summertime at Byron Bay the air-conditioner worked a treat. For about $170 a night for a double bed room and bathroom. TV and bar fridge with house keeping. Only 5 minute walk to the start of the shops. It's good value.

Aged which I accepted but the room I booked was not what I got. I booked the separate bedroom and 2 single beds but got a one room with 3 beds iinstead. $450 Paid in full up front. Staff just said I got it wrong and described a discussion that had occured that my other self must have heard. Not what I recall. Anyway I won't be back and I'll do my very best to tell people to be careful with these guys. Insist on confirmation in writing. Foolishly I did not.

I enjoyed my three day stay at the BMLM very much. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need from toaster, kettle, cocking utensils to flat screen TV with couches and a four seater table. My room was very clean and tidy, the bed comfortable and the separate bathroom whilst not new was clean and serviceable. Typical of the motor lodges of its time you can park right outside your room and avoid the parking meters that grow like trees round Bryon Bay's main shopping and tourist strip. Location is excellent with three minute walk to main street and five minutes to the beach. Prices I would say are typical of Bryon Bay. Melanie and Ashley were very friendly, polite and helpful and unlike some of the other reviews I found my room was typical of the photos and better than many other motels I have stayed in up and down the coast.

Over priced place that could be the worst hotel we've ever to stayed at. Place is real dirty, took 4 good turns of the tap to turn on the shower, very poor quality bedding and furniture and resembles NOTHING to what is indicated in any photos online. 5 minutes after leaving they phoned telling us they charged our credit card another $20 for using additional beds. Very rude and tried to make other claims to charge more money. Don't give these people any credit card details. This place is the ultimate dive.

It's a nice choice for us because clean and friendly. Only 5-7mins walk to shopping area But you need Wi-Fi, your room must near their office. We didn't spend long time to stay in our room, so it's doesn't matter :) Also, we're coffee addict, Byron Fresh Cafe (which use Campos coffee beans) just nearby about 3mins walk ‍♀️‍♀️

Very standard motel — nothing special, but gets the job done. The proximity to the center is a huge plus as well as the nice and friendly staff!

An almost premium price just for the location. The rooms look nothing like what you see in the photos. Saw two cockroaches hiding under the aircon. Felt one under the sheets. That felt disgusting. There was bug-spray on the window pane — implying that management knew about the cockroaches. We complained only to be met with rudeness. "But you are from Queensland! " with a tone, far from apologetic, that suggested that we should be OK with roaches crawling around us. I'd rather slum it out at a backpackers the next time at quarter the price with the same level of comfort. Once again DON'T GO BY THE PHOTOS! I feel ripped off.

Worst experience ever. Do not go to this hotel, you will be overcharged! Do not give your credit card details to them, because they will charge you extra for no reason. Multiple people have stated this over the years, do not believe any of the good reviews, there is no way this is a good place to stay. Staff are beyond rude, could not believe they are still able to run this place with the worst customer service ever.

The rooms looked a lot better in the pictures and over priced for what you get. They didn't make you feel very comfortable to the point they were quiet rude. We asked for extra towels, which we got though they didn't seem to happy about it. We were 30 mins over when checking out but waiting outside the rooms making comments is not very professional. For a place that relies on tourists makes you wonder. We certainly won't be going back as there are plenty of other places to stay in Byron Bay. Sorry but true!

A bit disappointed beds need replacing, over priced no brekky offered.

Room was nice and spacious, well maintained. Friendly staff with the heart on the sleeve. Very quiet and very relaxing, the ability to park his vehicle in front of his door is far from negligible, especially in Byron Bay (I even went through the portico with my minivan).
The little less: side outside court does not pay too much mine, but it's still very quiet, and looking a little further, we have right to lorie morning and evening flights. The weak point when I was there: the lack of Wi — Fi, but it is not drmatique, the location of the motel in byron bay.

Quite expensive, for what it was and ride unhelpful staff.

Excellent service, wonderful location and friendly staff. Nothing flash but has everything you need for a short stay in Byron i. E. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. I brought my parents to stay here for a few nights and it suited us perfectly. The staff are lovely people who couldn't be more helpful. While the place is just around the corner from the main draw and the beach, it remains quiet. The Wifi is hit and miss but other then that, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Clean rooms, close to the beach, but too expensive for what it is.
