We were in Sydney for holidays with my family last month and chose to stay at Quest Potts Point. The hotel was really good because the room we had was spacious enough for a family it has with two queen beds and kitchen. Rooftop has stunning views of the city, very very good. During our stay, all staff were very friendly from housekeeping to reception. Not to mention it is very close to the railway station and supermarket with fresh veggies and fruits. We will book this hotel again when we go back to Sydney next year and will recommend to my friends and family too.

Beautiful hotel with spacious room. Centralized location close to Kings Cross station and lots of cafes nearby. Special shout out to the front office team who has been very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended and will surely come back.

Nice but smallish room. Having some cooking facilities is a bonus, rooftop balcony has fantastic views. I thought $10 a day for Wi-Fi access is a bit steep though.

The hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. One f their staff Richard was very helpful and guided us throughout our stay. The hotel provides you almost every facilities from good rooms to rooftop with great view of downtown! Our overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret it!

Potts Point is a very good and convenient location. I stayed with my family at Quest Potts Point two weeks ago and we are very satisfied. Reception and housekeeping very friendly. Room has kitchen which is very handy. A bit small but nice and clean. The hotel is very near to Kings Cross train station and there are several cafes, restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has roof top terrace with amazing views of Sydney, very relaxing. I will come back again next year with friends. Highly recommended place to stay in Sydney.

Great location. Stayed over the weekend. Very clean room and it has all the amenities we needed. Very friendly staff especially Richard who went the extra mile when my partner wasn't feeling well. We will definitely come back.

The kitchen and toilet were very very small but otherwise the room and the services were excellent.

My room was not clean. Airconditioning does not work. Most disappointed.

Clean, comfortable and quiet even though your in the middle of the city.

Booked to stay at this place with a fully refundable cancellation. The hotel at first charged me. I was ok with that, then travel changed and I cancelled the room. They didn't refund me, so when I called they made up some story about my booking being non-refundable. When I pressed them on it they then decided that the charge was a fee for cancellation. They tried to just get me to go away rather than fix their mistake. Don't book here they will just rip you off.

A separate air co unit makes the temperature ok. But the noise is deafening. So ear plugs are needed. Also very noisy in the hotel and in the streeft. Not clean and depressie. Never again.

Aircon was broken so we got given a very noisy unit instead which made sleep difficult. Kitchenette and bathroom (especially sink) were all very small even in the biggest room. Construction going on outside our room for what looks like will be a while also.

Great hotel. Very close to restaurants, supermarket and train station.

This was build up on a very small land. No parking directly in the hotel and the lifts and stsirscase are very narrow. Hardly yiu can have 1 person climbing at a time. For those who wants a overnight stay can't complain about this place. But those who wants longer stay, may not be a good idea. Given its location it provides access to Rail services and great food joints across the road. Short distance from the hotel.

Comfortable stay but I would not recommend this property for longer than 1 or 2 nights. Small room but a good location.

Rooms are good, a bit small but you don't need anything bigger for sleeping.

Hotel was great, cosy rooms, well designed, and lots of mirrors. 4 starts only because they did not fix a flickering down-light in my room. They said that they don't do maintenance in the weekend and I only stayed there for the weekend so I was not able to use the downlights. However the staff were extremely friendly and I like the free newspaper and the coffee machine.

Great location helpful service. Richard at the desk very helpful when my booking was messed up, he ended up giving a second room for my workmate as the room ended up only one bed.

Good place to stay. The neighborhood is not the best.

The reception staff are very polite, the room is great socis the shower. Close to all amenities.

Quest pots point has a great location with king cross station near by to easily access the city centre. The rooms are nice and well equipped although very small. However I think this is a Sydney thing rather than just this hotel.

Quaint boutique apartment hotel in a gorgeous quiet street of Potts Point. Great value for money and amazing team at Front and back of the house!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Settled in the basement. Rooms very small, flies and cockroaches (large Australian), water from the shower unhindered oozing on the carpet. The constant dampness. Air conditioning is activated via the times, noise and cracking.
However, town centre to batanik garden 1.5 km.

ADVISE FROM A SEASONED TRAVELLER – AVOID THIS HOTEL / HOSTEL AT ALL COSTS, YOUR LIFE COULD DEPEND ON IT! Quest Hotel really should be reclassified as a budget hostel, given the way it is mismanaged and the poor facilities it provides. There are no hotel staff during week nights. This is not disclosed to potential clients, although, I’m sure it is written in small print somewhere on the homepage. Guest security is non-existent. While I was there, I observed locals, including prostitutes and drug dealers, coming and going without being challenged by staff, that is when staff are actually on-site. Basically what this means is, guests could be murdered in their beds, their corpses undiscovered until they breach the checkout deadline, something of which appears to be the only concern of hotel staff. I was unfortunate and indeed foolish enough to extend my stay for 5 nights. On the final day, I had the ‘gall’ to request a late checkout of a miserly 1 hour, to depart at 1pm instead of 12 noon. Not surprisingly, I was refused. This was in spite of the reality I paid on average $130 a night for the privilege of staying in what is essentially a hostel, un-staffed during week nights, while wondering whether each night was going to be last night alive. In contrast to hotel’s merciless observance to checkout deadlines staff were in general incompetent and indeed absent. On at least 2 occasions I gave instructions to desk staff with regard to the length of my stay and other matters.

Reasonably priced and fine to stay in. Quite and my room was clean. Good central access points for laptop and Wi-Fi. Not a lot to offer i. E. Not much frills but happy to stay again.

Good enough, rooms could have been a little cleaner and more consistently cleaned. The local area is a bit rough, it can get pretty loud at night as it's a popular area for backpackers. There is a great local food market over the road that I highly recommend.

This has to be the worse place we have ever stayed, from the moment we walked in, we felt sardined into the small hallways and tiny akward room. The room smelt of smoke (possibly from our 'downstairs neighbours'), and there were parts in the ceiling which had been taped up. My opinion? pay an extra $30 and go somewhere else.

I recently stayed at Quest Potts Point and had a really great stay. The room was very modern, clean, and had a kitchen which I used quite often. The staff were friendly and there was also a great terrace on the roof of the hotel with amazing views of the city. The location was convenient for sightseeing and close to a lot of great restaurants and bars in Kings Cross. I will definitely stay there during my next visit to Sydney.
