Holiday Haven Culburra Beach Resort Village

It is a nice family friendly park with alot of stuff here to entertain the kids and also a quite park at night.

Great location awesome staff.

Facilities need a good clean although has gotten slightly better than when we arrived 2/1/2022. Bins would not go astray in the toilets and camp kitchen area inside. Although we have had rain it does not help that other campers are using portable showers and water runs down hill with no thought to campers below. Park management (Kim) will not address the issue with them. Understand covid issue but if your worried stay at home. Cleaner are Not the quietest when cleaning of a night time and removing rubbish from bin site at 1 in the morning. Understand that Park management would be busy but considering we are pay high tariff like everyone else at this time we should be able to enjoy ourself like everyone else and not have to walk around in a continual bog hole and have water permanently running under floor of tent. Sites could do with a good top soil and level appears to not have had a great deal of upkeep on sites. A little bit of due diligence and a walk around the park from management to ensure everyone is doing the right thing or even other staff noticing issues would not go astay. Would have to say this has not been one of our favourite caravan parks to stay at.

Friendly people great management and absolutely beautiful place with loads to do.

My experience was at the pool pre (covid) a bunch of teenage kids using The pool were using vulga language around many other families with small children they were throwing chairs and towels into the pool making it a very uncomfortable atmosphere for all who were trying to enjoy the communal pool. I mentioned to them could they please stop acting in this way in front of other families and children. I didn't get a very nice response. There also was another father at the pool who intervened but they replied using foul language with no regard. The manageress was contacted, explaining the situation to her she never came to speak with the out of control teenagers. After waiting for her response with a no show. Myself and other families left the pool area keeping our kids away from the teenager, there were around 5 in total boys and girls.
I also noticed kids being very rough and out of control on the jumping pillow, I understand kids being kids having fun but there are plenty of rules and signs around saying no flipping on pillow.
It's a shame the manageress has no regard for her own rules in the park I came across videos on her socials posting videos of her own child flipping on the pillow and praising her, callng her (my little flipper) Very disappointing to think the people implementing these rules find it all ok for themselves.
I also witnessed her screaming at her staff in front of many patrons like they were animals, this I find highly unprofessional.

In an almost empty park the BBQ’s were filthy every day and the amenities had very very little hot water not enough for a very quick shower. Beautiful grassy sites though!

Great park, clean amenities, the men cleaning are awesome and friendly.

Kids love it, has putt putt golf, pool and play areas that are kept clean.

Kid friendly and not too far from home, although far enough.

Had a really good weekend. This park is great for families young and old. Maybe at different times unless travelling together. I would definitely come here again. And I love the fact they give a senior s discount it really helps.

We had a lovely 2 weekends. Kids had a ball with all the different on site facilities and so close to lovely walks along the beach where great too.

We recently stayed at the park and we absolutely loved out stay. The amenities and activities at the park were absolutely wonderful! We can't wait to return and will be bringing our friends with us! They accommodated for our size caravan no problem and we're extremely polite and helpful.

Having a great time photos of beach and light house walk. Staff have been amazing accomodating us after we couldn’t come in the New Years fires park looks amazing, would recommend a weekend away with or with out the kids.

Myself, my wife and kids love it here, staff are friendly and it has a lot for the kids and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away.

Not a great place for camping… camp kitchen is inadequate with only one small fridge, a microwave, toaster and four gas top stove burners. Sites fill up with water, consequently causing water to seep through tent flooring after it builds up. Ensuite tent sites don't give guests towels… for camping you literally have to take everything with you and can't pack light.

I've been coming for 35+ years. It's a great location near a great fishing estuary (and offshore), handy shops and eateries. Woolworths in Culburra Beach (15 min walk) has helped. The best beach is the other end (Culburra) as the Crookhaven end is not so good unless it's low tide. Boater, fisher, kayaker, walkers heaven, if you're prepared to explore. And the van park is constantly slowly improving — already good. Some of the amenities could do with a bit more love. Good destination but please don't tell too many about this hidden gem.

Staff are so rude and unaccomodating. Was off peak season so plenty of space but only 1 car allowed in despite offering cabins for more people than would fit in one car. If it wasnt for the location this wouldnt even be worth your time.

Enjoyed our stay in the park during the weekend. Perfect location right next to the beach, with easy access to pretty much everthing you need for a quite & relaxing holiday, while still having local shops & woolworths within 3 kms. Park & cabin are clean, staffs are friendly & helpful. Overall, enjoyed our stay & look forward to our next visit.

Haven't been there as I live here but what I have heard and seen sounds great right next to beach boat ramp pool cabins always busy.

Great grounds and cool pool. No one here. Seniors discount reduces cost from $55 a day to 33. So ask. Amenities very nice and clean.

Quiet little park. The facilities are old but well maintained. The cleaning didn't keep up with busy periods so the main facilities were feral for much of the Australia Day weekend. It was good during quieter times. The pool, water park, mini golf and playground are excellent. Kids holiday activities were token but ok. Rates are reasonable. Staff were a painful.

GREAT family holiday destination. Cheap prices. Full value! Heaps for all the family to do. Close to beaches and anything else to keep the family amused. Owners are fantastic and willing to help in any way. Totally recommend this place.

Love coming down to Culburra each year, the park itself is great as are the staff! Special mention goes to Evey, who isn’t actually a staff member but is in fact Kim’s Mum. After learning of my daughters dietary requirements, Evey went above and beyond to make her something should could eat and enjoy with all of the other kids staying at the park, she didn’t need to do this but she did and that shows what kind of people Kim and her family are! Thank you Evey for making my daughter feel special and included xxxx.

Poor access to the beach for older people, steps on park side but there is a dangerous slippery slope on the other side of gate. No hand driers in toilet block and guests are drying hands on other peoples washing very unhealthy must be against all ohs and hygiene policies. Roads are full of potholes and are easily subject to flooding causing hazardous situations with small children most at risk. Street signage and lighting poor.

Park is great, fantastic facilities for kids. Staff very friendly & helpful to meet the needs of guests, will be back on a regular basis.

One of the best holiday parks we've been too. Management are the best. Facilities are impeccably cleaned twice a day. Everybody is kind and welcoming and management are keen to improve the park with new features as well as updating the existing. Highly recommend your next holiday be here. Family friendly with lots of activities around the park for the kids!
