Had our elopement style wedding here on the weekend, bewong river retreat was absolutely amazing! And lee was so professional and made the day run so perfect! I cannot recommend enough!

Very relaxing and extremely beautiful. The serenity of the lake makes for a lovely walk first thing in the morning or last thing at night. The bungalows are spacious and functional with all the mod cons. Highly recommend a stay here, we will definitely be back.

Great place, very quiet, everything you need except more time.

Relaxing stay at the Retreat, had a lovely bbq on the balcony whilst overlooking the waters edge. Bonus wildlife everywhere, including their resident possum. Very quiet and secluded, Will definitely stay again.

I highly recommend Bewong River Retreat — Lee. My husband and I were ment to be getting married at Bewong. Unfortunately due to the bush fires we had to cancel & relocate our wedding elsewhere. Lee and the staff were understanding and helpful during this time.

We got married at Bewong River Retreat. The venue and surrounds are beautiful. Wild bushland and kangaroos everywhere. All our guests loved the ceremony near the river and the marquee reception. We were also able to accomodate some of our guests in the onsite bungalows. Would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding, Lee our wedding organiser and Lisa on reception where hugely helpful throughout the planning process and on the day.

My wife and I had the most AMAZING wedding at Bewong. Having the ability to have all our friends and family in one spot for the whole weekend was such a bonus as I don't believe a wedding should only be celebrated for one day. Cabins were amazing and the Glamping tents were SO cool. Most importantly — having Lee and her team listen and create our wedding was VERY helpful. No stresses and basically no limits. We were able to bring our dogs, our boat, all the motorbikes and campers onto the premises as well which meant everything to us. Lee was also a great support — we could not have executed the wedding so well without her. So much love for this venue and its people. Thank you so much ❤️

Bewong River Retreat, you will forever hold such a special place in our hearts! BRR was absolutely everything we wanted in a wedding venue. 9 cabins onsite, glamping available, and an undercover shared BBQ area for entertaining and games, all surrounded by the beautiful bushland with kangaroos bounding by and the sound of waves gently lapping the river bank. The jetty gave us the tranquil riverside ceremony we wanted, a stunning backdrop of Australian bush — you really don't need to dress up this natural beauty. The reception area, a short 5-minute walk from the ceremony, is a versatile space with extensive open green spaces and tall trees — making for stunning photos, especially as the sun drops behind and through the trees. We utilised the courtyard space for a dancefloor under the stars, and the festoon lighting strung up around the sides put you in such a beautiful space and atmosphere. We were absolutely thrilled with our BRR weekend wedding, from Friday night welcome celebrations to Sunday brunch farewells. And with Lee from CreativLee coordinating every aspect, committed to bringing your vision alive, always thinking two, three, four steps ahead, our wedding was every bit as relaxed, beautiful and fun as we had hoped for and more. Thank you Bewong River Retreat, we sincerely hope we’ll see you again for our anniversary xx.

So beautiful, peaceful and private even during the busiest time of the year here. We had been planning a beach wedding but this worked out so much better, especially with Lee co-ordinating arrangements and Lisa looking after us. Fabulous accommodation too and great not having to travel outside the venue. We enjoyed the BBQ area with family the night before, being able to walk down to the riverside ceremony, the best reception set up beautifully and afterwards a serene soak in the spa with gorgeous bush views. Very highly recommend this venue for special events, private retreats and holidays for those who love the bush.

We stayed here for our wedding. Scott was so accommodating and we couldnt thank him enough for the wonderful service on our wedding day. The rooms are beautiful and serene.

Had a fantastic time away over Easter. I would recommend you to stay and with the wildlife at your doorstep. We will definely be back again.
