Our last night after a 10 night stay, perfect place to holiday. Stayed many a times. Sails never disappoints! A1, thank you Leanne and Rhys.

Top spot! Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything one might need to self cater and very close to restaurants, shops and cafes.

Fantastic resort great location friendly owners. We purchased steaks at the local butchers even the seagulls loved them flying in and grabbing one of the bbq, we will be back loved the holiday.

Beautiful location with sensationally well presented units. Balcony overlooking the water was hard to beat. Everything about this place is excellent.

Rhys and Leanne are the best hosts and the Sails apartments are awesome.
Overlooking the Lake in Merimbula within a close walk to coffee shops and to the beach.
Beautifully appointed apartments in immaculately cared for gardens the units are quiet and peaceful.
We were lucky to be here in the first week they let tourists back down the coast after the fires and the place was a delight.

Lovely spot, and we had two beautiful and very friendly parrots greet us on arrival.

We love staying at Sails Luxury Apartments Merimbula, lovely views, very clean and spacious and so close to everything… lake, ocean beach and just over the bridge to the town centre. We will be back next year.

Such a great place to stay when in Merimbula. Very clean and well equipped apartments… perfect for families wanting to cook dinners etc. Reece (the manager) was super friendly and welcoming and offered all sorts of suggestions on what to do/see around the area. Great location, right on the waterfront with an easy walk into town and also to the beach/playground for the kids!

We had the most fabulous past 10 days staying at Sails, we stayed in the 3 bedroom unit that opens up straight onto the pool, our kids had a fabulous time, none of us wanted to leave, the apartment is very spacious, lovely and clean and has everything you could possibly think of, from dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need, we loved the spa bath and the beds were comfy and the owner Rhys was so friendly and helpful, thank you for a wonderful family holiday, we can’t wait to come back.

Rhys was very friendly staff, he recommended the nice restaurant and oyster farm for us. The facilities in the apartment are excellent, especially the SPA, we did enjoy our stay. I am looking forward to staying again!

Lovely apartments everything you needed was there for you, The apartment was very clean, beds were very comfy we loved the place. The owners were great. We had to cut our stay a few days short because my husband hurt his back pulling cases in & out of the car so we had to head for home straight away, the owner was more than helpful he even helped us put our luggage back in our boot, I was so grateful to him for helping us as I couldn`t lift suitcases. He also told us to leave the cleaning of the apartment he would take care of it, puts my faith a little bit back in the human race. He also said if we came back that way again he would take care of us as we left so early,

I just loved staying at Sails Luxury Apartments Merimbula. The staff were amazing. So helpfu;. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Leanne and Rhys. The apartment was fabulous. The views were breathtaking. The best location. I loved being able to walk 'EVERYWHERE". Looking forward to coming back again. I will be recommending Sails to all my friends and family.

Handy location and good views of the Fish Pen. Wouldn't recommend ground floor-people walking around past lounge window-not very private.

Thans for making our stay exceptional, although we created some trouble with a leaking fuel tank. Very nice location with a beautiful view over the lake and boardwalk. Lot's of success with further projects and developments. Flor and Marleen from Belgium.

We have had the most amazing family getaway for Easter, staying here at Sails. We had never been to Merimbula before now, and we can't believe what we have been missing out on! We arrived after a very long drive and were greeted by such friendly owners in Rhys and Leanne. A no fuss check in and shown around our apartment which just exceeded any expectations we had. Our apartment was absolutely spotless, had everything we needed right down to washing powder and dishwashing liquid! As well as all the cooking utensils etc you would need for even the longest of stays. The view is second to none and looks straight out over the water where there is always something to see be it, kayakers, fisherman, boats or even just families strolling past…
We even got the added bonus of an Easter egg hunt put on by the owners!
Little old fashioned touches that are becoming rarer, but so greatly appreciated and noticed has really topped off an already flawless experience!
We can't wait to come back with family and friends

Just home from a FABULOUS weekend away. My partner and myself had a great ground floor unit (5) right in front of the BBQ and pool area, nestled among lush gardens with rainbow lorikeetes that eat out of your hands (if you want). Our room had an ensuite attached to the main bedroom and main bathroom a spa, washing machine and dryer too. Our travelling friends were a couple with a 3 year old, also in a ground floor unit (1), with great access for a stroller (or wheelchair) and so roomy. Facilities and amenities, speak the words, welcome, pride and respect. The owners feel like friends, nothing is too hard and everything is doable. Cannot recommend Sails enough, with lakefront access, views and amazing sunsets, and the beach a stones throw away, what more could you ask for (except, not to leave). My first visit this weekend, and certainly will be one of many. Tess Ryan — Canberra.

Outstanding customer service, brilliant location, facilities absolutely terrific. The owners were so personable, fun and accommodating it just made our trip away. Don't worry about interest rates and the hassle of city life, get away and enjoy what Sails and the area has to offer. 5 of us booked 2 apartments for 2 nights and could not be happier with our weekend away. The apartments themselves are so well equipped, it was like being at home. Little touches go a long way, Sails had a starter sample of washing powder for the machine and likewise for the dishes. Generous bedrooms, with main bedroom having an ensuite. Main bathroom also has spa bath, washing machine, dryer and clothes airer which is just what you need to put your swimmers on after you get out of the heated pool. Oh the pool… this was perfect for all of us as a 3 year old needs steps and a hand rail to enter a pool just like a 46 year old waiting for two knee replacements, perfect! The lush gardens bring rainbow lorikeets to share sunset with you, and, if you have some feed or bread in your hand, will delightfully eat gently from your hand. This place in a stones throw away from the beach, all ability playground, cafes and right on the lake. Take your surfboard, kayak, fishing rod, good book and wine (yes lots of wine fits in the good size fridge). Linen supplied and a great array of items in the kitchen to make every meal work.

I first stayed at Sails around 5 months ago. So impressed I booked my next two stays pretty much then, and can I say, many months away. The confidence I had making two advance bookings like this without hesitation, not the desire to benchmark against other options was more than easy. Firstly, the customer service is outstanding, so much so that it feels weird writing 'customer', because on both of my stays (alone for work), I have felt far more than simply another customer. …Secondly, the rooms are amazing, spacious, and oh so comfortable. Every little effort has been made to make a stay very positive, you will be delighted with the range of items you won't have to bring with you. White, red and champagne glasses, small and large tumblers, cups, mugs, toaster, kettle, radio, start up kits for the kitchen (washing detergent, dishwasher tablet) as well as a start up container of washing powder for the washing machine which sits under the dryer and next to the spa! Serene surrounds, manicured gardens, pool, BBQ area and the location to lake and beach alike, wonderful. Ryhs and Leanne truly are amazing hosts, oh, and if you like bird watching and sounds, this IS the place too! Molly Rhodin

Stayed for 2 nights and will definately be returning. The welcoming arrival was so warm and generous. The rooms were amazing. So roomy, clean and an awesome view overlooking the water… nothing was a problem and any questions asked were happily answered. Any one wanting to stay at Merimbula needs to book in and stay here. Thank you again the recommendation for our Saturday night meal at Wheelers was excellent and will defo be returning for another meal there too. Thanks Barry and Trudy Scott — room 7

Very bad experience with the manager of this hotel, Beware of him as he is trying to rip you off by trying to change the old stuff of the units on your expense and finding trivial reasons for that … he is making good profits of this business!

Staff was very friendly and the room was very nice with a great view. Internet is the only downfall by having a 500mb limit.

There's no better recommendation than not wanting to leave! This IS your place to stay in Merimbula. From the warm welcome & awesome hosts Rhys & Leanne that do everything to make your stay perfect to waking up and enjoying breaky on the balcony overlooking the lake this place is perfect. Spotless & comfy apartments, perfect location on the fishpen (that's where you want to stay) with a short walk into town and an even shorter stroll to the beach it's got you covered. The pool/bbq area is a fantastic area to cook a meal or simply kick back & relax on the pool lounges or a dip in the heated pool. Walk across the bridge and the boardwalk along the lake is great for those that enjoy getting out for regular exercise, either walking or jogging. You can fish straight across from the apartments so there's sonething for everyone. Thankyou for a wonderful stay Rhys & Leanne, we love this place & don't want to go home but hope to come back again soon!

My family have shared a SAILS APARTMENT for our annual holidays for three consecutive years. This current year we were welcomed by the NEW MANAGERS Rhys and Leanne, they are very friendly and obliging. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. Ideally located in the popular FISH PEN area, walking distance to the beach and shops.

Great location, close to Pambula and Eden on the right side of town. Fantastic views from our apartment. Great fishing. Great hosts. Rooms are very clean and have good facilities. Car park has good security parking.
