We enjoyed a lovely Birthday lunch with a few friends on Sunday at The Royal. Great food, staff went out of their way to be helpful with the cake we had bought along, lit the candles and presented it beautifully. Would certainly recommend it, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you guys, you made our little celebration great! Much appreciated.

My dad and I had lunch at the Royal today. Meals came out quickly, steak was beautiful, cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef who even came out and introduced himself and advised all produce/beef/wine is locally sourced which is always great to hear. Staff were very friendly and accomodating nothing was too much trouble.
Takeaway cappuccino was delicious. Thank you for a great experience I will be back with friends and family 🍻

Awful experience! Waited over 2 hours for breakfast with 3 small children. It was after 12pm when we got our food. The other people in the dining room waited longer. When we got our food it was stone cold. Extremely disappointed, will not be going back!

Our second stay here at The Royal and what a difference the new owners have made. More like a warm, cosy chic little b&b. Fantastic food and to die for coffee (wonder if Uber eats will deliver to Wagga 🤔) could not recommend this beaut little gem enough!

After booking a table for 12 people to meals started turning up at 20min intervals. The birthday girls arrived last after 2 hours. Very disappointing. Some food cold. Avoid.

We went there tonight for my sister in laws 50th and the service was absolutely appalling! There were 12 of us and we all got our meals 10-15 mins apart 1.5 hours after we ordered! The waitress was absolutely disgusting with her huffing and puffing every time she came into the rooM and even yelled at me after asking where one of the kids meals was after the other children getting their meal 20 mins before. Don’t ever go!

Super neat super friendly super priced after a big day on the road this was great to have a place that is cared for and cares for me. Old school but renovated with good facilities. Really great manager on my visit. 5 star.

A beautiful meal with friendly service.

I don't often get to visit West Wyalong, but when I do I almost exclusively eat dinner here. The staff are friendly, attentive and love a good banter filled chat. The manager, Wendy, is extremely lovely and responsive to all requests, and extremely forgiving when you accidentally manage to reference one of her staff as her daughter (she isn't that old, I'm sorry). Every meal I have had has been fantastic. The quality of food is something I would expect from a restaurant in a major city, not a cosy little pub in West Wyalong. The beautiful nature of the pub, the staff, the food, and the exceptional customer service has ensured they have secured me as a lifelong client. If you are lucky enough to be in town for dinner, drop into the Royal, you will not regret it.

Best Panko chicken I have ever had. Vegetables were cooked to perfection, Garlic mash was awesome and the garlic bread was amazing. I highly recommend their food. Thankyou Wendy.

Excellent room cleanliness shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. The only down side was the stairs we had to climb. Definitely not handicap friendly.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to the Royal for my daughter’s 21st dinner tonight. The chef cooked amazing meals, Rachel went out of her way to be as helpful and accommodating as possible and the girls behind the bar, Abby and Ali, were just wonderful. A great country pub in the main street of West Wyalong. The restaurant has been refurbished and the menu is now quite up to date. Food was excellent.

Great old pub which has been restored to its former glory. We had a private function. The food was first class and service great.

It was delicious. A bit more than a pub meal but fantastic food and service.

Great food and beautiful setting. You definitely pay more for the cosy, classic federation era decor. The wood fire was a nice touch on the cold night we visited. Nice place to treat yourself. This isnt a place for a pint n pub grub. It's a little more sophisticated and priced accordingly.

Fantastic friendly pub with unexpectedly fabulous food. Great vibe, cool music, really friendly and welcoming staff and super fresh, yummy food. Melt in the mouth calamari and excellent crispy skin barramundi. Well worth the drive on a cold winter weekend.

Friendly staff, squeezed us in for dinner just as kitchen closed. So pleasantly surprised to find the whole menu is gluten free! Great atmosphere, spotlessly clean, delicious food, enjoyed wine and stout and lovely staff… will definitely be stopping on our way back!
