Very easy check in, comfortable rooms and wonderful staff. Room service was a little late but the motel was very busy! the meal was very nice though.

Clean room, great service and incredible meals for room service for a small country locale. Happy to make this a regular stop.

So owning a credit card is an essential item apparently!
I was treated like a second class citizen due to not owning one!
They gave me a dusty room, kitchen covered in dust, glass in bed rooms covered in dust!
No milk on check in, just abrupt service from an apparent over worked receptionist!
Mini bar was removed from the room after I had already checked in, at no point did they ask to enter and remove the items, they watched me leave then enter! again because I don’t own a credit card!
They admitted they went into my room with out my consent and they saw my grandsons little pet lizard he wanted so desperately to show me, it’s all of 4 inches long in a container he could not get out of!
I contacted the manager to tell her about my poor experience, she called me a liar and then rude when I got upset for the second round of being treated like a second class citizen because I don’t own a credit card and she and I quote … yes you do need to own a credit card.

Quiet, relaxed, modern and cozy room. However the Aircon was a little tricky at first to heat the room, but after a frustrating first few hours we finally got it going, then the cozy began. Overall though our stay was great and we slept well. Oh good food to for dinner and breakfast. Cheers.

I have stayed here repeatedly for many years, whilst visiting the region on business and have always enjoyed my stays. However this visit was not as good as past visits. You need to prevent people from smoking right outside the rooms. Yesterday morning I was rudely awoken by the smell of cigarette smoke at 6am, as someone sat right our window / door outside smoking several cigarettes. Once the smell was in the room, it stayed there. What is the point of having Smoke-Free rooms if people can just sit outside and smoke anyway? Get rid of the plant pots that serve as ashtrays and move them over into the grassed courtyard area to smoke or create some kind of designated smoking area. You are one of the higher end hotels in Wagga and this just devalues your own brand. I'm not sure I'll be coming back to stay if that continues. We were also put in a room that is smaller that the other standard sized rooms and although I had asked for parking as close as possible, was in a room that seemingly didn't have a designated parking space. It would be great to have more room in the fridge too, instead of packing it full of beer that most people aren't going to drink and could just as easily get via room service.

Staff at the mecure are absolutely wonderful, the functions manager Julie is another level of helpful and friendly, thank you to the mecure for holding our wedding reception.

IT WAS GREAT, The rooms are very spacious, the staff are very nice and over all there is 2 Tv's.

Great location, large family rooms, well presented, quiet, easy parking, reasonable prices, good service, nice pool, walking distance to shops, good buffet breakfast. One of our preferred places to stay when travelling through between Sydney and Adelaide.

I stayed at Mercure Wagga Wagga for my Daughter's Army March Out. I loved how neat and tidy the room was and the bed was so comfy. It's close to everything The Restaurant and bar had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone.

Food was great and staff we nice, but for $195 a night midweek in a non busy period I never expected to be given individual wax paper sheets as toilet paper, they provide the same horrible single sheet paper that you would find in a building site port-a-loo!

I have nothing bad to say, such a great experience. I was travelling with my mum, 8 month old twins and 4 yr old. The original room aircon was not working. The staff tried helping and by 9pm no luck. They came and upgraded us to a bigger room and moved all our stuff. The stay got better with the friendly breakfast staff, very good service! Thanks!

We went to the Mercure for a nice dinner with our family and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The wait staff were very happy and friendly. Every dish we had was delicious and not overpriced. We had a great evening.

Room was big and clean. Comfortable bed. Shower was good. Breakfast was delicious. Good place to stay at reasonable prices.

Great value for money, getting a bit tired but pool is good after a long drive. Restaurant and bar are popular with the travelling salesman set.

Super cosy bed, great staff and really clean. Down sides were, restaurant was closed and there was zero kitchen. I couldn't even microwave a frozen dinner and when I bought food back, there was no cutlery or plates.

Rooms are modern and comfortably furnished. Nice courtyard and garden area. Quiet area for a good night's rest.

This place has good and bad. The past renovations are still pretty nice but the original fixtures are quite worn down. The doors all have paint chipped away and common areas like the stairs are worn immensely. The carpet area of the room had some permanent marks. Overall the kitchenette in my unit was well stocked with utensils and I even used the BBQ in the pool area one night. Proximity to main road meant some traffic noise in my unit. The pillows were too hard for me and I bought pillows at Kmart while there to use. Modern shower fixtures would go a long way as mine had just a traditional shower head fixed to the wall. Parking filled up but I was always able to got a spot near my room. Most important is there is no lift to second floor so be prepared to carry bags up if you have an upstairs room and are a do it yourself type. The price I received for the room seemed like a decent value to me though.

Attended a professional event there. The staff were well presented and efficient.

Very clean but no hot water. Advised by reception staff that all rooms are on the one water heater and to just wait 10-15 minutes and try again. Obviously an on going problem as reception staff we’re not surprised. 4 star property and no hot water? FAIL!

We only visited friends staying there. Rooms were clean and comfy. Only one blanket available for two people staying in room. Separate beds. Heating very adequate.

One of best motels I have stayed in and the service and food is second to none. Totally recommend a stay and I can't speak highly enough of the breakfast and those amazing tomatoes.

The reason for the two stars is I left my room to go to Little Athletics in the morning (Saturday) come back in afternoon to find my door open, room was cleaned and left my door open I had 3 brand new iPads, expensive hair straightener plus a pandora bracelet 3/4 full lucky all items were still there and weren't stolen by someone, I was very upset and spoke to a lady in the office, she called me back and said we would like to give you and the kids free breakfast and some drinks at the bar which was nice shame I was leaving at 6:20am to go back to athletics. I had dinner at the restaurant and told the staff I was aloud some free drinks which she gave me, I ordered my food plus garlic bread, food arrived but no garlic bread was asked didn't you get your garlic bread my reply was no, she returned with the bread, my chicken was beautiful I then asked for more drinks 3 in total but only received two… It wasn't my weekend but saying that staff at front counter were helpful, bed was beautiful, room was clean, only thing I suggest is cleaners need to be more aware of other people's valuables as this could have been a lot worse and very expensive to the hotel…

Great size room 212, awesome size spa bath and comfy bed — So all in all, I was pretty happy as me and my bf were staying here for my birthday over the weekend. However a quick freshen up of rooms before guests arrive wouldn't be a bad idea, especially since we booked online about a week in advance so you knew we were coming. Dead flies in the bathroom and, so my bf said, hair of some sort in the spa bath?! Ewww! VERY noisy carpark — Someone took our carpark also we noticed as soon as we got there, which meant we had to take someone else's — Kinda awkward… Rude neighbour cackling like a witch in the early hours of the morning was annoying also and woke us up — When my bf complained about it before we left, thinking we might get a discount or something as we did at the townhouse when this same thing happened, he was basically laughed at and ignored! I would say an average stay all in all — I've had better but I have also had worse. Still its not very good for a place that is not exactly cheap! I would have expected better all around for the price we paid. More toiletries and the like would have been nice also, as there was only one of everything for a room with 2 people in it! Plenty of towels though which was good.

Great place. Reception was very helpful. Toilet paper dispensers need to be changed out for toilet paper rolls.

This Hotel has been a favourite venue over the years for me and my visiting family friends and colleagues who have come to Wagga for pleasure, business and even to celebrate happy occasions like a wedding or special anniversary. That was until it was stripped of all it's beautiful iron lace work and charm of yesteryear. The Mercure have replaced all this warm country charm with cold concrete render and stark aluminium windows. It now feels like checking into a medical clinic, not the warm inviting place it used to be.

Staff were lovely and very understanding when we had to change our booking last minute. Rooms were clean and tidy with plenty of room.

Went to the Mercure for buffet breakfast on Friday 15/5/2015. Received a very friendly welcome at reception and an even friendlier one when we were seated for breakfast. The dining room was well presented and very clean. There was a good variety of food and ample quantities of each dish. Although the breakfast was on par with most other breakfast buffets I have had, the service was excellent. Sue, the hostess, is one of those rare people who are not only very good at their job, but who also thoroughly enjoy serving their customers. It was a pleasure to be served by such a professional hostess. Her friendliness, experience and attention to detail turned a pleasant group breakfast into a wonderful experience. This experience has gained the hotel some regular patrons who will be recommending the hotel to their travelling colleagues and friends. Thanks Sue for doing such a great job. Hopefully you will be there on our next visit.

Reasonable for a Mercure, clean etc. The bar and restaurant are rubbish but you have options In the nearby town. The highlight was the two heavy freight trains passing by at 3am.

There was a dirty towel on the hook behind the door, used shampoo bottles in the bathroom, hairs and make up in the drawer with the hair dryer, cobwebs on the bathroom window and dead flies on the window sill. The bottom sheet didn't go completely to the end of the bed. They offered us a different room and free breakfast as a result. Apart from the housekeeping problems, they otherwise have good facilities with free Wi-Fi, although I heard people next door showering and talking (after midnight). After mentioning the problems they also gave us a discount on the room so service by the manager was very good.

Good service, nice, clean and comfortable room. Would certainly stay again.
