Staff welcoming. Pleasant enough & clean. Alas no pool (beach closed) & camp kitchen minimal. Very $$$$ summer rip off.

Stayed at Deluxe Cabin for long weekend. It has covered car spot. The air-condition and TV were in both lounge and main bedroom. Very lovely veranda. Linen was clean. Good kitchen. Location is beautiful. Close to the beaches. Some disadvantages: — bed isn't stable. It's on wheels, so it's moving all over the room on any move. — the cabin isn't new, so dusty flyscreens and very unclean sidebed drawers (on a pic) presenting it's a great meeting point for cockroaches. (on a pic) — clean bathroom but with quite strange tap (on a pic) and bad water pressure I may come back, but only course Hawks Nest is amazing location.

Great location, a little more TLC around the park would make it better.

Right close to the beach good caravan sites. Very clean amenities.

0 stars if it was possible! Absolutely disgusted with the service of the owner! Very arrogant and thinks because he owns the land he can demand orders! My wife is heavily pregnant and we needed to load both her car and mine and he didn't approve it he wanted one car in at a time when half his sites and cabins won't even booked and was plenty room for the two cars we had for the time we needed to pack. Very rude and blunt and beware the receptionist records you with out you knowing so we took photos for proof! All in all if you don't want to wreck your holiday and enjoy it don't go here!

I could not say it any better than Jan Douglas in her review. It was just t'riffic. I don't want to say too much about the park or Hawks Nest in general in case nest time I want to come it is full up with tourists instead of just the friendly, helpful, easy going locals who remind you how much nicer people are outside the big cities. … and then there is the fishing!

Everything about this place is beautiful. We are staying here for just the weekend but wish we were staying for weeks. The amenities are spot less and owners lovely. A bonus is the massive communal fire pit a good chance to catch up with fellow campers and enjoy a beer or three!

Our cabin was spotlessly clean, very roomy and had all the main things we needed, as well as all the little things on hand that make for a very pleasant stay. Just a short walk over the protective sandhill to a lovely, uncrowded beach. I'll be recommending to others.

We arrived after office hours passing through. After some calling to the office and walking around we were kindly greeted and could spend the night at this lovely situated clean campsite with hot showers. We moved on the next day because of bad weather predictions after checking the beach. Which is beautiful. On check out we were told we did not have to pay for the 1 night. Really surprised we drove up north leaving us with a very good Australian vibe. Thanks so much! Laurie & Sander from Holland.

Stayed here in an unpowered site with a group of 7. Pleasant setting in the bush. Friendly wildlife friendly dingoes but watch out for the rogue bush turkeys. Great amenities … Props on the Dyson airblade fit out in the bathrooms. Disappointing there is no recycling options. Tip: 5 min walk to Jimmys beach is good for after hours shenanigans. Unfortunately didn't get to meet the man himself but hear he throws a hell of a party.
