Beautiful stay at this restful retreat. Calvin, Jess, Mark and Sandy (hosts) were so friendly and welcoming… Nothing was too much for them. We stayed in the 'Deluxe Double' room which was so comfortable! Trees, birds, beaches! Wish we had stayed longer — highly recommended!

Beautiful place, quiet and in the middle of the nature, you can relax here with David and Marie who is really nice to speak to. I liked the way they built their camp with open kitchen, cosy living room and amenities! Lovely place!

Customer service is excellent and the rooms are great. It feels like your miles away in the forest.

Natural jungle cabin but no air conditioning. Too hot inside overnight.

Simple but fabulous place. That's what we wanted! At the same time secure and at the same time we believe in the savannah with the meeting of many animals … And the owners very nice!

Awesome hostel in the bush with gorgeous leafy surroundings offering cold and shade in hot days. Clean facilities, large outside kitchen with gas bbq, boys shed with pool table, tv, heaps of books, board games and DVDs free to rent. Outside swimming pool, body boards and bikes for rent. Pizza nights and lots to do in this beautiful area! Not a place for those who don't like animals and can't live without internet as there's poor wi — fi. Bring aerogard!

Beautiful place! The only "Meh. " thing is the Wi-Fi : not reachable from your room, you have to stay near the office or in the "games room". Would recommend!

I just stayed here for one night as I was passing through. Interesting concept in the bush right off a main road with bungalows and an open air kitchen and common area. It's got that outdoor feeling. If you don't like bugs then this is not the place to stay; it's a clean place but nature tends to come with bugs (mainly mosquitos) though is not that bad. The dorms are cabins with a porch and showers and restrooms are in separate buildings as well. Lovely couple that runs the place.

This place is clean and really cool. It's in the rainforest and has an awesome vibe and nice facilities. Prices are good too. There is a cute big dog and a pool and a game area.

I have a bad souvenir of this hostel as I've been bitten by some insects… I'm actually not sure if it was mosquitoes or bed bugs. It's still itching even 3 weeks after… The hostel is pretty with good facilities. Everything was clean and tidy. There is a bus stop just at the entrance, but the bus is not very regular so it could be easier if you have a car.

Different experience in a place surrounded by beaches. Very peaceful, you can really get in touch with nature. Mark was lovely. Although we only stayed one night, we'd love to go back for a longer period.

I absolutely fell in love with this place and had to come back… it's so stunning inviting and has a beautiful tropical feel! Loved the relaxed vibe so extended my stay… loved the baby owl that slept above my bungalow during the day… blessings.

Cabin lost in the middle of the nature. Relaxing, quiet, clean, amazing welcoming. What a rest! You can rent bikes for $10, get snacks from the reception and board games. Great picnic and BBQ area.

Samurai beach bungalow was wonderful. Facilities where great, everything was clean and in working order. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

Very nice accommodation, clean showers, nice outside-kitchen, friendly staff. We were very satisfied!

The owner was drunk about 9 or 10am everyday stumbling around art the time with no shoes, dirty blankets on the bed big smelly dog running around, backpacker staff were good but the owners wife was rude (no customer service skills) and too many insects got eaten Alive and never been so itchy (had big red spots on me something maybe in the bed? The trees look nice though.

Very friendly staff. Facilities were a bit limited but got the feel of camping in a wood. Plenty of activities (snorkeling, sandboarding, surfing and bodyboarding) however you need to walk far for them as well as shopping centre (you need to grab a bus for them. ) a great place for a few days to get a way form the city but bring mosquito repellent you will get bitten.

It's an awesome place. It's look like you live in a jungle. The facilities are in a very good conditions. The staff are friendly and helpfully. Top Top Top.
